Jauan Jennings WR | MIN
49ers' Jauan Jennings: Sticks in No. 3 role
Jennings logged 29 offensive snaps (50 percent) while catching his lone target for eight yards in Sunday's 30-23 loss to Seattle.
Trent Sherfield (two receptions for 16 yards) took over Deebo Samuel's (groin) spot in the starting lineup, which kept Jennings in the slot role for the time being. When Samuel returns -- he could be back as soon as this Sunday -- it will be interesting to see whether Jennings will retain his spot at third on the receiver depth chart, or if Sherfield has permanently leapfrogged him. Either way, the 23-year-old remains nothing more than a potential red-zone target (two touchdowns on eight red-zone targets) with limited playing time.

Trent Sherfield WR | BUF
49ers' Trent Sherfield: Season-high five targets
Sherfield had two receptions (on five targets) for 16 yards in Sunday's 30-23 loss to Seattle.
Deebo Samuel (groin) was forced to sit this one out, so Sherfield jumped into the starting lineup alongside Brandon Aiyuk. The 25-year-old filled in for Samuel in the fourth quarter of last week's contest, so it wasn't shocking to see the wideout take on the starter's snaps (98 percent of offensive snaps). Sherfield saw a season-high five targets but was understandably unable to replicate the star's production who he was replacing. Samuel initially was expected to miss 1-to-2 weeks, so he could return as soon as this Sunday's matchup against the Bengals. If Samuel is unable to go, Sherfield again figures to fill in, providing only deep-league value in that scenario.

Isaiah McKoy WR | IND
Isaiah McKoy: Parts ways with Colts
McKoy was released from the Colts' practice squad Monday.
McKoy originally joined Indianapolis' practice squad in late November. The rookie UDFA signed with Pittsburgh in the spring but was cut during training camp.

Laviska Shenault Jr. WR | BUF
Jaguars' Laviska Shenault: Secures three receptions
Shenault caught three of five targets for 30 yards and carried three times for one yard during Sunday's 37-7 loss to the Rams.
Shenault finished third among Jacksonville's wideouts with a season-low 31 offensive snaps, though he did tie for second on the team in targets. The 2020 second-round pick has seen at least five targets in each of the past four games but has only 16 receptions for 128 yards during that span. Shenault has yet to score a touchdown through 12 games this season, and his 6.2 yards per target as part of a scuffling offense means his fantasy appeal is limited.
-
Laquon Treadwell WR | IND
Jaguars' Laquon Treadwell: Finishes as top receiver again
Treadwell caught four of five targets for 62 yards during Sunday's 37-7 loss to the Rams.
Rookie QB Trevor Lawrence continues to struggle and finished with only 145 passing yards Sunday, and Treadwell nearly had as many receiving yards as every other pass catcher combined. The 2016 first-round pick has led Jacksonville's receivers with eight receptions for 115 yards across the past two games, and he also led the corps in offensive snaps Sunday. Treadwell's production is likely a mirage given how poor the offense is performing overall, but he's shown a solid rapport with Lawrence and has been a surprising bright spot the last couple weeks.
-
Byron Pringle WR | WAS
Chiefs' Byron Pringle: Draws four targets in win
Pringle recorded one reception for 14 yards on four targets Sunday in the Chiefs' 22-9 win over the Broncos.
Pringle played 70 percent of the Chiefs' offensive snaps in the contest, good for his largest share of the season. The uptick in reps didn't translate into much meaningful production, however, as the Kansas City aerial attack continues to prioritize Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill above all else. The likes of Pringle, Mecole Hardman, Josh Gordon and Demarcus Robinson can't be counted on to deliver fantasy-friendly performances on a weekly basis.

Anthony Schwartz WR | MIA
Browns' Anthony Schwartz: Remains in concussion protocol
Schwartz (concussion) didn't practice Monday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Schwartz suffered a concussion during the Browns' Week 10 loss to the Patriots and has been sidelined since. There was optimism that the rookie wideout would be available after Cleveland's Week 13 bye, but he remains in concussion protocols and is in danger of missing his third straight game. If he is unable to clear protocols before Week 14, then Donovan Peoples-Jones, Ja'Marcus Bradley and Rashard Higgins are all candidates for added WR snaps against Baltimore.
-
Penny Hart WR | ATL
Seahawks' Penny Hart: Catches first pass since Week 6
Hart recorded minus-1 yard on one reception in Sunday's 30-23 win over the 49ers.
Hart hauled in his first pass since Week 6. He played just nine offensive snaps as his playing time has dwindled with rookie Dee Eskridge healthy. Most of Hart's contributions will be on special teams going forward.

Justin Watson WR | KC
Buccaneers' Justin Watson: Unlikely to return in 2021
Coach Bruce Arians said Monday that he doubts Watson (knee) will be able to return from the reserve/PUP list this season, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Watson was initially expected to be sidelined until around November, but it appears as though he'll be forced to miss the entire 2021 campaign after he underwent knee surgery in late July. The 25-year-old is slated to become a free agent during the offseason after spending his first four professional seasons in Tampa Bay.

Racey McMath WR | DAL
Titans' Racey McMath: Cleared to practice
McMath (quadriceps) was designated to return from injured reserve Monday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
McMath landed on injured reserve in early October, but he'll now be able to practice after being sidelined for nearly two months. The receiver will need to be activated within 21 days if he hopes to return to game action this year.
