  • Browns' Anthony Schwartz: Still sidelined

Schwartz remains in the NFL's concussion protocol and won't practice Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Given that the Browns are coming off their bye week, it's not the best sign that Schwartz has yet to be cleared to practice. The rookie wideout still has two more chances to get back on the field for workouts prior to Sunday's game against the Ravens, but his status for that contest looks cloudy at that the moment.

  • Keelan Cole WR | LV

Jets' Keelan Cole: Back at practice

Cole (illness) is scheduled to practice Wednesday with the Jets activating him from the reserve/COVID-19 list, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Cole's return to the mix arrives at an opportune time, as he's expected to slide into a starting role on the perimeter opposite Elijah Moore (quadriceps) after No. 1 wideout Corey Davis (groin) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday with a season-ending injury that requires surgery, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.com. Davis' absence was already expected to translate to more playing time and targets for Cole, but his role in the passing attack could grow larger Sunday against the Saints if Moore is unavailable due to an injury that prompted head coach Robert Saleh to classify him as day-to-day. Through 10 games to date, Cole has caught 19 of his 33 targets for 299 yards.

  • Elijah Moore WR | PHI

Jets' Elijah Moore: Dealing with quad issue

Jets head coach Robert Saleh said Moore won't practice Wednesday due to a quadriceps injury.

Saleh labeled Moore as day-to-day as the Jets begin prepping for Sunday's game against the Saints, with the team hopeful that the rookie wideout will be able to suit up this weekend, according to Eric Allen of the Jets' official site. If Moore gains clearance to play, he'll likely be solidified as the Jets' clear No. 1 wideout and see increased targets the rest of the way after Corey Davis was placed on injured reserve Tuesday with a season-ending core-muscle injury that will require surgery, per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com. On the plus side for the Jets, Keelan Cole was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday and should be able to slide into Davis' starting role on the outside, while Jamison Crowder continues to fill his regular role in the slot.

  • Buccaneers' Justin Watson: Cleared to practice

Watson (knee) was designated to return from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday.

Coach Bruce Arians said Monday that he didn't expect Watson to return to the field in 2021, but he'll now be able to join the team for practice. If the receiver isn't activated from the PUP list within 21 days, he'll be forced to miss the remainder of the season.

  • Tylan Wallace WR | CLE

Ravens' Tylan Wallace: No receptions through 12 games

Wallace played all but one of his 16 snaps on special teams in Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Steelers.

After he was one of the nation's most productive receivers during his four-year career at Oklahoma State, Wallace has surprisingly been a nonentity on offense for the Ravens since being selected in the fourth round of April's draft. Though he's been active for all 12 of his team's games to date, Wallace has played almost exclusively on the Ravens' coverage units. He's logged just 16 snaps on offense in total, drawing one target in the process. With six receivers ahead of him on the depth chart, Wallace doesn't look like he'll have a path to earning meaningful reps on offense anytime soon.

  • Keelan Doss WR | LV

Keelan Doss: Released from Jets' practice squad

Doss was released from the Jets' practice squad Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

The 25-year-old landed with the team's practice squad Nov. 16, but he failed to crack the active roster at any point. Doss will now look for a new squad in need of depth at wide receiver.

  • Tarik Black WR | DET

Tarik Black: Lands on Jets' practice squad

Black was signed to the Jets' practice squad Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

The wide receiver was cut from the Colts' practice squad Nov. 23, but he has found a new squad in New York. With Corey Davis (groin) done for the season, Black will provide additional depth at the position for the Jets. He has yet to make his professional debut after going undrafted in the 2021 NFL draft and will likely remain on the practice squad barring any injuries.

  • J.J. Koski WR | DEN

J.J. Koski: Waived by the Rams

The Rams waived Koski on Tuesday.

Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports that Koski will likely return to the Rams' practice squad if he goes unclaimed through waivers. The undrafted rookie has made four appearances for Los Angeles this season, operating primarily as a return specialist.

  • Corey Davis WR | NYJ

Jets' Corey Davis: Goes on IR

Davis (groin) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.

Davis' move to IR was merely procedural after head coach Robert Saleh confirmed Monday that the wideout would require season-ending core-muscle surgery after aggravating a groin injury in Sunday's loss to the Eagles. The 26-year-old wraps up his first season with Gang Green with 34 receptions for 492 yards and four touchdowns over nine games.

  • Robert Foster WR | NYG

Robert Foster: Restored from COVID-19 list

Foster was restored to the practice squad from the practice squad COVID-19 list Tuesday.

Foster is back with the team after a two-week absence due to health and safety protocols. The 27-year-old wideout has yet to appear in a game this season.
