  • Dazz Newsome WR | SF

Bears' Dazz Newsome: Posts no stats in loss

Newsome failed to catch his lone target in the Bears' 17-9 loss to the Vikings on Monday.

Newsome's biggest impact on the game was when he committed a false-start penalty that potentially killed a drive for the Bears. It's unlikely he has a significant role in the team's offense during the fantasy playoffs.

  • Damiere Byrd WR | BUF

Bears' Damiere Byrd: Another solid performance

Byrd caught five passes for 62 yards in the Bears' 17-9 loss to the Vikings on Monday.

Byrd did the bulk of his damage on the Bears' first fourth-quarter drive when he caught three passes, and he finished third on the team with six targets. Despite posting at least 36 yards in each of his last four games, he'll likely need Allen Robinson (COVID-19) and Marquise Goodwin (foot) to continue missing time in order to be a factor for the duration of the fantasy playoffs.

  • Trent Taylor WR | SF

Trent Taylor: Back with practice squad

Taylor reverted to Cincinnati's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Taylor logged nine snaps on special teams and returned one kickoff for 23 yards and three punts for a total of 22 yards Sunday against the Broncos. Week 15 marked the first action of the 2021 campaign for the Louisiana Tech product.

  • Willie Snead WR | MIA

Willie Snead: Returned to practice squad

Snead reverted to Carolina's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Snead saw just one snap on offense and failed to reel in his lone target. It was the first time he's appeared in a game since Week 9 against New England. Snead has three catches for 32 yards on five targets through seven contests in 2021.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | NYG

Bears' Darnell Mooney: Efficient performance in defeat

Mooney caught five passes for 63 yards in the Bears' 17-9 loss to the Vikings on Monday.

Mooney caught three of his passes on third downs in the first half, which helped the Bears extend drives, but the team otherwise went with a run-heavy approach, and he disappeared for most of the second and third quarters. Even on the first fourth-quarter drive in which the Bears drove down the field through the air, the only target Mooney saw was an overthrown ball in the end zone on which he was unable to stay in bounds. On the next drive, he had another chance for a score, but the pass again was overthrown. Although his usage hasn't been consistent, he could easily have a strong finish to the fantasy season with games against the Seahawks and Giants, especially if he can return to the target share he saw between Weeks 8 and 12.

  • Scott Miller WR | CHI

Buccaneers' Scotty Miller: Pair of catches in shutout loss

Miller brought in two of three targets for 18 yards in the Buccaneers' 9-0 loss to the Saints on Sunday night.

After serving as a healthy scratch Week 14 against the Bills, Miller was back in uniform Sunday night, and his availability was timely. Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (knee) both exited the contest early, leading to a modest amount of volume for Miller. The Bowling Green product could be even busier over the last three games of the regular season, considering Godwin is out for the remainder of the campaign due to a torn ACL, and Evans could miss the Week 16 contest against the Panthers.

  • Zay Jones WR | HOU

Raiders' Zay Jones: Sixth grab sets up winning FG

Jones caught six of nine targets for 67 yards in Monday's 16-14 win over the Raiders.

Jones tied Foster Moreau for the team lead in targets and bested Moreau by two receiving yards to pace the Raiders. His most important catch was his last one, as Jones' 15-yard snag set up Daniel Carlson's game-winning 48-yard field goal as time expired. Jones has stepped up recently for the receiver-starved Raiders -- he has 19 catches in his last four games, after having just nine all season before this strong stretch.

  • Quintez Cephus WR | HOU

Lions' Quintez Cephus: Moves to COVID list

Cephus (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Cephus was already on IR and ruled out for the season with a broken collarbone, which he suffered in the Lions' Week 5 loss to the Vikings. The second-year wideout finished his season with 15 receptions on 22 targets for 204 yards and a touchdown across 5 games.

  • Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR

Raiders' Hunter Renfrow: Just three catches in Week 15

Renfrow caught three of five passes for 32 yards in Monday's 16-14 win over the Browns.

Renfrow came back down to earth after catching 30 passes over the previous three games, as the Browns made a concerted effort to cover him and make other Raiders receivers beat them. Both of the incomplete passes thrown Renfrow's way were end-zone targets. Expect him to regain a larger role Week 16 against the Broncos.

  • Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Four catches as top option

Peoples-Jones caught four of eight targets for 48 yards in Monday's 16-14 loss to the Raiders.

Peoples-Jones led the team in targets and receiving yards, as he was the top receiving option for quarterback Nick Mullens with wide receiver Jarvis Landry, as well as quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum, all on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Raiders defensive back Brandon Facyson knocked the ball out of Peoples-Jones' hand to prevent what should have been a big gain along the sideline in the first half, but he heated up late and converted two crucial third downs on Cleveland's go-ahead drive in the fourth quarter. Peoples-Jones also served as the primary punt returner, one week after rookie Demetric Felton muffed a pair of kicks in last week's win over the Ravens. If Landry isn't ready to return Week 16 against the Packers, Peoples-Jones will remain atop the Browns' wide receiver depth chart.
