Tolbert brought in four of six targets for 66 yards in the Cowboys' 22-14 preseason loss to the Seahawks on Saturday night.

Last year's third-round pick continued to offer hints he may be capable of putting a washout of a rookie season behind with his second straight impressive exhibition performance. The South Alabama product led the Cowboys in receptions, receiving yards and targets, pushing his line to 6-95-1 this preseason. Tolbert is essentially assured of a roster spot already, but another strong effort in the preseason finale against the Raiders next Saturday night could raise expectations of what he'll be capable of as the team's presumptive No. 4 receiver.

Reed took his lone reception (two targets) for a 19-yard touchdown in Saturday's preseason loss to New England.

Reed followed up his two-catch debut last week with his first touchdown as a pro on Saturday. It was also the Packers' first touchdown of the game, as the second-round selection continues to see some reps with the first-team offense. Reed will likely wind up occupying the third receiver/slot role behind Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs to begin the year, but the Michigan State product is making a case for more targets with his strong play early on.

Smith-Schuster made his preseason debut with the Patriots on Saturday, catching his lone target for one yard in a preseason tilt against the Packers.

Smith-Schuster's poor stat line shouldn't concern fantasy managers, as he is expected to start for New England after reviving his career with Kansas City last season. The veteran wideout missed some time during training camp with a minor knee injury, but he should be good to go for Week 1 after suiting up Saturday. The Patriots didn't make any other big additions at wideout, so expect Smith-Schuster to garner enough targets to provide consistent value in PPR and deeper formats.

Doubs corralled both of his targets for 52 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Patriots.

After scoring a touchdown on the Packers' opening drive against the Bengals last week, Doubs stayed hot with one of of his two receptions burning the Patriots for a gain of 42 yards. The 2022 second-round pick is one of three promising, young wideouts vying for Jordan Love's targets in a new era of Packer football post-Aaron Rodgers. Christian Watson is still considered the top receiving option heading into the regular season, but Doubs has certainly opened some eyes with his strong play this preseason.

Westbrook-Ikhine failed to record a catch on his only target in Saturday's 24-16 preseason win over the Vikings.

Westbrook-Ikhine was on the field early in the game and got one deep target from Malik Willis, though that was his only opportunity. Across two preseason games, he has only one catch for eight yards. While Westbrook-Ikhine's roster spot is likely safe, his role is unclear after the offseason additions of DeAndre Hopkins, and to a lesser extent, Chris Moore.

Meyers brought in his only target for 18 yards in the Raiders' 34-17 preseason win over the Rams on Saturday night.

The veteran wideout made his one grab count, bringing in a pass from Jimmy Garoppolo on the Raiders' opening drive to take the ball down to the Rams' 19-yard line. Meyers should develop into a highly reliable short- and medium-range target for Garoppolo during the coming campaign while working alongside Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow in three-wide sets.

Samuel started Saturday's exhibition game against Denver, converting three targets into two receptions for 39 yards before exiting with the rest of the starters.

Samuel made his preseason debut alongside starting quarterback Brock Purdy (elbow) on Saturday, and the duo connected for a 25-yard gain on the game's first offensive play. The fantasy star did not receive a carry in Saturday's exhibition, and he could lose a few rushing attempts to Christian McCaffrey over the course of the season. That said, perhaps Samuel runs more routes as a true wideout to challenge his high-water mark of 77 receptions through his four years in the league.

Harry missed Saturday's preseason loss to Tennessee due to an undisclosed soft tissue injury, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Harry has long odds to make the final roster, so any injury could see him released from the team. Harry spent last season with the Bears but was hampered by a high-ankle sprain that delayed the start of his season. He ultimately appeared in seven games, recording seven catches on nine targets for 116 yards and a touchdown.

Gray (shoulder) will have additional testing done to determine if he suffered a collarbone injury, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Gray exited Saturday's 21-20 preseason win over the Broncos early with a shoulder injury and initial X-rays were unclear, so the wide receiver will undergo more testing to determine the severity. The wide receiver is competing for a final roster spot, and a prolonged absence would likely end his chances.

Downs reeled in two of three targets for 20 yards during Saturday's 24-17 preseason win against the Bears.

Downs returned the opening kickoff for 14 yards, and his first potential target occurred on the Colts' initial drive, but it was negated by an offensive pass interference call by teammate Pharaoh Brown. In addition to his contributions through the air and the kick return, Downs also had a five-yard punt return. Considering Indianapolis sat its starters Saturday, Downs' work on offense came with backup quarterback Gardner Minshew. Downs will look to continue making inroads on a regular role in the team's offense in this Thursday's exhibition at Philadelphia.
