  • Skyy Moore WR | GB

Chiefs' Skyy Moore: Working with starters regularly

Moore is dominating first-team snaps in two-wide formations at training camp, Jesse Newell of the KC Star reports.

Newell also mentions that Rashee Rice and Justyn Ross have only occasionally mixed in with the starters and "overwhelmingly" are working with the second unit. Moore and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, on the other hand, primarily have caught passes from Patrick Mahomes. Meanwhile, Chiefs GM Brett Veach said Monday that he expects Kadarius Toney (knee) to be ready for Week 1, which would give the Chiefs another candidate to start at wide receiver

  • Jordan Addison WR | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Set to play Thursday

Addison will play in Thursday's preseason contest at Seattle, head coach Kevin O'Connell told the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

It's not clear how many snaps he'll play, but the 2023 first-rounder will get his first game action as a professional. K.J. Osborn is listed as the No. 2 wide receiver ahead of Addison on Minnesota's first unofficial depth chart of the preseason. However, Addison has looked sharp in camp so far with good chemistry with quarterback Kirk Cousins, so he's still the favorite to emerge as the team's No. 2 wide receiver with a significant role.

  • Isaiah Coulter WR | BUF

Bills' Isaiah Coulter: Back at practice

Coulter (knee) participated in practice Wednesday, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.

The wide receiver missed the Bills' session last Thursday and did not return for almost a week. Coulter landed a reserve/future contract with the team in January after spending time on its practice squad in 2022. The fourth-year pro is battling for a roster spot.

  • Chiefs' Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Listed as starter on depth chart

Valdes-Scantling was listed as a starting receiver on the Chiefs' unofficial depth chart released Wednesday, Blair Kerkhoff of The Kansas City Star reports.

Alongside Valdes-Scantling as a starting wideout is 2022 second-round pick Skyy Moore. With the status of Kadarius Toney (knee) in question for Week 1, Valdes-Scantling and Moore have been getting all of the first-team reps throughout training camp. Valdes-Scantling should have better chemistry with Patrick Mahomes in their second season together. The veteran wide receiver is looking to improve on his 42-687-2 receiving line from last season.

  • Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ

Jets' Garrett Wilson: No team drills Wednesday

Wilson (ankle) was once again held out of team drills during Wednesday's practice, Eric Allen and Ethan Greenberg of the Jets' official site report.

Wilson continues to ease his way back from an ankle injury that he sustained earlier in training camp, but it shouldn't be long before the wideout resumes practicing fully. That said, Wilson appears unlikely to see action in Saturday's preseason game against the Panthers.

  • Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: In line to play Thursday

Head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Eskridge (suspension) is expected to play in Thursday's preseason game against the Vikings, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Carroll noted that Eskridge was tending to "a little something" Tuesday that held him out of drills, but the receiver was back on the practice field one day later. While Eskridge is eligible to play during exhibition season, he'll be serving a six-game suspension to begin the upcoming campaign due to a violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy. As a result, his first possible game action will come Oct. 29 versus the Browns.

  • Dante Pettis WR | NO

Bears' Dante Pettis: Ready to return

Pettis (undisclosed) was activated from the active/non-football injury list Wednesday.

Pettis was able to pass a physical and get cleared to compete after being sidelined since the start of training camp. The 27-year-old should be in the mix to earn a depth role in the team's receiving corps; however, with the addition of DJ Moore and Tyler Scott during the offseason, Pettis may find it more difficult to make the Bears' roster this season.

  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Comes off PUP list

The Ravens reinstated Bateman (foot) from the active/PUP list Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.

Bateman began training camp on the PUP list after receiving a cortisone shot in his foot earlier this offseason, though he participated in minicamp on a limited basis. Head coach John Harbaugh said on the first day of training camp that Bateman was doing well as he works his way back from Lisfranc surgery, but soreness kept the 2021 first-round pick off the field until Wednesday. If the Ravens remain cautious and want to ramp up Bateman's practice load, he could still be held out of Saturday's preseason opener against the Eagles. Nonetheless, it's encouraging for fantasy managers to at least see the wideout back on the field for crucial first-team reps.

  • Chase Claypool WR | BUF

Bears' Chase Claypool: Suffers hamstring injury

Claypool didn't finish Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Claypool remained on the field with teammates after injuring his hamstring, so there's some reason to believe the issue is minor. That said, the Bears could always tend toward caution and hold Claypool out of Saturday's preseason matchup against the Titans, even if there's no serious concern about his health.

  • Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Exits Wednesday's practice

Waddle left Wednesday's practice with an apparent injury, though he headed to the locker room under his own power while being accompanied by trainers, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.

Wolfe notes that Waddle appeared to be holding his side as he left the field. Until further information is available, consider the wideout day-to-day as Friday's preseason opener against the Falcons approaches. Per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said that he hopes Waddle's injury will only sideline him a few days, though Tagovailoa couldn't confirm the severity of the issue.
