Kalif Raymond WR | CHI
Lions' Kalif Raymond: Snags 20-yard pass
Raymond caught one pass (one target) for 20 yards during Thursday's 21-20 win over the Chiefs.
Raymond only saw one look in what ended up being a much slower-paced game than expected. Meanwhile, Josh Reynolds operated as the clear No. 2 receiver behind Amon-Ra St. Brown while Marvin Jones handled the No. 3 role. Even though Raymond has the ability to pop for a big play or two on any given week, he won't even be worth a dart throw in DFS formats if he is the No. 6 receiving option behind the top wide receivers plus tight end Sam LaPorta and running back Jahmyr Gibbs.

Tank Dell WR | HOU
Texans' Tank Dell: Returning punts Week 1
Dell is listed second on the depth chart at one wideout position and will return punts Week 1 against the Ravens, Deepi Sidhu of the Texans' official site reports.
Dell sits behind wideout Nico Collins, who is slated to start alongside Robert Woods, and hopes to have an impact on an offense that ranked 31st in 2022. He developed an early connection in camp with quarterback C.J. Stroud, which raised expectations for the 2023 third-round draft pick. If he doesn't produce offensively, Dell could provide a lift on special teams; he averaged 17.0 yards per return and scored a touchdown as the primary punt returner for the University of Houston in 2022.

Xavier Hutchinson WR | HOU
Texans' Xavier Hutchinson: Third on depth chart
Hutchinson is listed third on the depth chart at one wide receiver position for Week 1 against Baltimore.
Hutchinson sits behind fellow 2023 draft pick Tank Dell and starter Nico Collins. The Iowa State product did not develop as quickly as Dell during the preseason, but the 6-foot-3 Hutchinson has the size to be an ideal red zone target.

Skyy Moore WR | GB
Chiefs' Skyy Moore: Quiet in Week 1 loss
Moore failed to bring in any of his three targets and rushed once for four yards in the Chiefs' 21-20 loss to the Lions on Thursday night.
No one member of the Chiefs' pass-catching corps saw a major boost in production from the absence of Travis Kelce (knee), and Moore couldn't do anything with his three opportunities. The second-year wideout will be one of several explosive components of Kansas City's air attack this season, but Patrick Mahomes targeted a total of 12 players Thursday in Kelce's absence, so the night wasn't exactly a good gauge of how matters will evolve on that side of the ball. Moore will be one of multiple members of the receiving corps looking to atone for an underwhelming opener during a Week 2 road matchup against the Jaguars a week from Sunday.

Marvin Jones WR | DET
Lions' Marvin Jones: Forgettable regular-season debut
Jones caught two of six targets for eight yards while losing a fumble during Thursday's 21-20 win over Kansas City.
Putting together one of the more forgettable games of his career, Jones saw plenty of opportunity but was clearly outdone by Josh Reynolds as the top complimentary receiver behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. The 33-year-old dropped at least one pass that could have led to a possible field-goal try before halftime, and then Jones' first career fumble cost the Lions another likely field-goal attempt in the fourth quarter during crunch time. Even with Jameson Williams suspended for another five games, Jones is hardly on the fantasy radar entering a Week 2 matchup against Seattle.

Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ
Lions' Josh Reynolds: Seven targets in Williams' absence
Reynolds caught four of seven targets for 80 yards during Thursday's 21-21 win over the Chiefs.
If there is a battle for the No. 2 spot on the depth chart during the six-game suspension of Jameson Williams, Reynolds made a much better case for it than Marvin Jones did in this regular-season opener. Reynolds ultimately paced the team in receiving yards while finishing only a couple of targets shy of No. 1 wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown. However, this production isn't exactly new for Reynolds, who has already shown an ability to maintain multi-week fantasy relevance as a fill-in player given the 90ish yards and 9.3 targets he averaged during three consecutive weeks that DJ Chark and Williams missed early last season. Reynolds will look to build upon this performance in a tough Week 2 matchup against the Seahawks.

Amon-Ra St. Brown WR | DET
Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Finds end zone
St. Brown caught six of nine targets for 71 yards with one touchdown during Thursday's 21-20 win over the Chiefs.
It was more of the same for St. Brown relative to his 2022 numbers, which included per-game averages of 6.6 receptions on 9.1 targets with 72.6 receiving yards. After notoriously getting tackled numerous times around the five-yard last season, it was a bonus for fantasy managers to also see St. Brown plunge into the end zone. While it is possible that first-round rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs -- and/or second-round tight end Sam LaPorta -- could become bigger parts of the short-range passing game as the season unfolds, St. Brown seems set for another big year as the undisputed top receiver in Detroit. Up next is an indoor matchup at home against a talented Seahawks secondary.

Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Chiefs' Kadarius Toney: One catch in opener
Toney secured one of five targets for one yard and rushed once for minus-1 yard in the Chiefs' 21-20 loss to the Lions on Thursday night.
Toney was able to make it back from a knee injury that robbed him of a solid chunk of training camp and all of preseason, but ultimately, it may have been better for the Chiefs and fantasy managers had he remained idle for at least another week. The third-year pro struggled with his hands all night, and one of his mishandled targets resulted in a 50-yard pick-six by the Lions' Brian Branch early in the second half that allowed Detroit to erase a 14-7 deficit. Toney also failed to secure a first-down throw from Patrick Mahomes that could have resulted in a solid gain on what would turn out to be the Chiefs' final drive, making it an all-around forgettable night. Toney may well have been dealing with a bit of rust, and he naturally has nowhere to go but up when he faces the Jaguars on the road a week from Sunday in a Week 2 rematch of January's AFC divisional-round clash.

Justin Watson WR | HOU
Chiefs' Justin Watson: Solid showing in Week 1 loss
Watson brought in two of four targets for 45 yards in the Chiefs' 21-20 loss to the Lions on Thursday night.
Watson checked in second in receiving yards on the night with the help of a 26-yard reception, as Patrick Mahomes spread the ball around generously in the absence of Travis Kelce (knee). The 2018 fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers put up a 15-315-2 line in his debut Chiefs campaign last season, and he's projected for a larger role to some degree in 2023. Watson's target total Thursday tied for second on the night for Kansas City, but it remains to be seen how his opportunities are affected if Kelce returns to action in a Week 2 matchup versus the Jaguars a week from Sunday.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling WR | DAL
Chiefs' Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Team-high yardage total in loss
Valdes-Scantling secured both targets for 48 yards in the Chiefs' 21-20 loss to the Lions on Thursday night.
The veteran speedster led the Chiefs in yardage, with the highlight of his night a 34-yard third-down grab late in the first half on a drive that culminated in a four-yard Blake Bell touchdown. However, Valdes-Scantling disappointingly didn't see any uptick in volume despite the absence of Travis Kelce (knee), with his two targets less than the amount he saw in all but four games last season and postseason. MVS will aim to bounce back in a Week 2 road matchup a week from Sunday versus a Jaguars team he scored two touchdowns against over two games in 2022.
