Velus Jones Jr. WR | SEA
Bears' Velus Jones: Posts negative yardage in loss
Jones lost three yards on his lone rushing attempt in the Bears' 27-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Jones was inactive for the season opener, and he had a minor role in the offense upon his return. He'll need a significant change in his situation to become a reliable fantasy performer.

Darius Slayton WR | NYG
Giants' Darius Slayton: Three grabs in Sunday's win
Slayton caught three of six targets for 62 yards in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Cardinals.
He tied Parris Campbell for the lead in targets among the Giants' wideouts, but rookie Jalin Hyatt produced more receiving yards and Isaiah Hodgins caught more passes, including a TD. Slayton's the only one of that crew who caught multiple passes in New York's opener as well, but the team's crowded depth chart could prevent any one WR from truly breaking out. Slayton and the others will take on a 49ers secondary Thursday night that just got torched for 15 catches and 147 yards by Rams rookie Puka Nacua.

Isaiah Hodgins WR | NYG
Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Finds end zone Sunday
Hodgins caught four of five targets for 40 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Cardinals.
After a quiet season debut marred by a lost fumble, Hodgins came up big for the Giants in a comeback win, hauling in an 11-yard TD strike from Daniel Jones late in the fourth quarter that tied the game at 28-28 and completed a comeback from a first-half 20-0 deficit, setting the stage for Graham Gano's game-winning field goal with 19 seconds left. Hodgins was one of four New York wideouts with multiple catches Sunday -- Parris Campbell, Darius Slayton and rookie Jalin Hyatt were the others -- and the team's crowded depth chart could prevent any one WR from truly breaking out. Hodgins and the others will take on a 49ers secondary Thursday night that just got torched for 15 catches and 147 yards by Rams rookie Puka Nacua.

Chase Claypool WR | BUF
Bears' Chase Claypool: Surprises with solid game
Claypool caught three passes for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 27-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
The Bears lost Darnell Mooney to a knee injury during the contest, and Claypool then functioned as the primary receiving complement to DJ Moore. Claypool led the team with eight targets, and he could get a chance to build on his encouraging effort if Mooney is forced to miss time.

Jalin Hyatt WR | NYG
Giants' Jalin Hyatt: Leading receiver against Cards
Hyatt caught both his targets for 89 yards in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Cardinals.
The rookie flashed his big-play ability as he led the Giants in receiving yards, hauling in a 58-yard reception on the team's first play of the second half to kick-start a comeback from a 20-0 deficit. Hyatt failed to catch his only target in his NFL debut last week, and while he may not see big volume as part of a crowded wideout depth chart, his ability to get deep figures to be a key element of the New York passing game this season. Up next Thursday night is a Week 3 clash with a 49ers secondary that just saw another rookie, Puka Nacua, erupt for 15 catches and 147 yards against it.

Brandon Aiyuk WR | SF
49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Plays through shoulder injury
Head coach Kyle Shanahan announced that Aiyuk suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday's win over the Rams that limited his playing time, according to 49ers' team reporter Lindsey Pallares.
Aiyuk was able to finish the game and post a final line of three catches on six targets for 43 yards. The 25-year-old suffered the shoulder injury in the first quarter and was seen being worked on by trainers at various points of contest. Aiyuk didn't appear limited when he would return to action, which is a positive sign for his availability moving forward. That said, it wouldn't be surprising to see Aiyuk's name pop up on the injury report with a Thursday matchup against the Giants on tap for Week 3.

Deebo Samuel WR | WAS
49ers' Deebo Samuel: Finds end zone Sunday
Samuel caught six of nine targets for 63 yards while rushing five times for 38 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Rams.
Samuel got things going for his fantasy managers with his first touchdown of the season following a modest Week 1. The dual-threat wideout got into the end zone on the ground, finishing with six carries after rushing just twice last week. He still contributed as a receiver, leading San Francisco in targets, receptions and receiving yards. Samuel and the 49ers will now enter a short practice week ahead of Thursday's matchup with the Giants.

Puka Nacua WR | LAR
Rams' Puka Nacua: Impressive follow-up performance
Nacua (oblique) caught 15 of 20 targets for 147 yards and no touchdowns while adding four yards on two carries in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the 49ers.
Nacua followed up last week's breakout 10-catch, 119-yard performance with an even-gaudier receiving line against one of the league's top defenses. The 23-year-old didn't show any ill effects from the oblique injury that left him with a questionable tag heading into Sunday's loss. Nacua also displayed his versatility on a pair of rushing attempts, highlighting a big part of his game over his last two years at BYU (39 carries for 357 yards and five TDs). The only missing piece in the rookie's fantasy game so far has been the lack of a touchdown, but the overall results have been impressive through two games. Nacua will look to continue racking up catches when the Rams take on the Bengals next Monday.

Tee Higgins WR | CIN
Bengals' Tee Higgins: Big rebound in Week 2
Higgins had eight catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns in the Bengals' Week 12 loss to the Ravens.
After getting shut out last week, Higgins led the Bengals' receiving corps in catches, yards and targets, taking advantage of the absence of the Ravens' Marlon Humphrey. Higgins and the Bengals next face the Rams on Monday night.

Stefon Diggs WR | NE
Bills' Stefon Diggs: Mediocre day in blowout win
Diggs recorded seven catches on seven targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 38-10 win over the Raiders.
Diggs was extremely efficient in turning his targets into receptions, but there wasn't much production to follow. His longest gain of the day went for 17 yards, but three of his catches went for under 10 yards. After commanding 13 targets in Week 1, Josh Allen also distributed the ball around to more pass catchers, another contributing factor to the relative down performance. Even so, this game illustrates Diggs' extremely high floor for fantasy purposes.
