Marquise Goodwin WR | CLE
Browns' Marquise Goodwin: Questionable against former team
Goodwin (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.
Goodwin was spotted at practice Friday after sitting out entirely Wednesday and Thursday, so he seems to be progressing in his recovery from a back injury. Still, the receiver's Week 8 status remains up in the air and likely won't be determined until the Browns release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

Laviska Shenault Jr. WR | BUF
Panthers' Laviska Shenault: Won't play against Houston
Shenault (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Shenault suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 6 against the Dolphins, and Carolina's Week 7 bye didn't afford him enough recovery time. Without Shenault available to handle a change-of-pace role out of the backfield, a few extra touches could go to Miles Sanders and Chuba Hubbard, who are expected to split carries. Shenault's next chance to suit up will come Week 9 against the Colts on Nov. 5.

Diontae Johnson WR | CLE
Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Back at practice
Johnson (hamstring) was present for Friday's practice, Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Johnson didn't practice Thursday, so his return to the field a day later bodes well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Jaguars. The Steelers' final Week 8 injury report will be released later Friday and will reveal whether the wideout heads into the weekend with an injury designation.

Zay Jones WR | ARI
Jaguars' Zay Jones: Likely to remain out Week 8
Head coach Doug Pederson said Friday that he doesn't expect Jones (knee) to be available for Sunday's game against the Steelers, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Jones has appeared in only one of the team's last five games and had to exit that game early after aggravating the knee injury. With the Jaguars on bye Week 9, Jones' next chance to suit up would come Nov. 12 against the 49ers, assuming he sits out Sunday. Jones' status for Sunday's game will be confirmed when the Jaguars release their final Week 8 injury report later Friday, but anyone who had been hoping to deploy the wide receiver in fantasy lineups should start lining up alternatives.

Marquise Goodwin WR | CLE
Browns' Marquise Goodwin: Back at practice
Goodwin (back) is on the field for the start of Friday's practice, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Goodwin missed practice Wednesday and Thursday this week with a back injury, so it's encouraging to see him back on the field Friday. The veteran wideout has made big plays in the running game in back-to-back weeks, though he remains in a depth role on offense. Friday's practice report will reveal Goodwin's official injury designation heading into Sunday's road matchup against the Seahawks.

Irvin Charles WR | SEA
Jets' Irvin Charles: Officially doubtful
Coach Robert Saleh said Friday that Charles (shoulder) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Charles has suited up for each of the Jets' last two games, handling a depth role on offense while also contributing on special teams, but it looks like he will need to sit out Sunday's matchup. If so, his next chance to take the field would be Week 9 versus the Chargers.

Khalil Shakir WR | BUF
Bills' Khalil Shakir: Career-best showing Thursday
Shakir brought in all six targets for 92 yards and returned one kickoff for nine yards in the Bills' 24-18 win over the Buccaneers on Thursday night.
The speedy second-year wideout was the surprise leader in receiving yards on the night for the Bills, and that total, along with his reception tally, were both career highs. Shakir's involvement in the air attack has shot up over the last two contests, as he's produced a 10-127 line on 10 targets in that span after heading into it with just four grabs for 40 yards on the season. Shakir has a good chance of remaining similarly involved in what should be a very competitive Week 9 road matchup against the Bengals on Sunday night, Nov. 5.

Chris Godwin WR | TB
Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Scores in Week 8 loss
Godwin brought in five of seven targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 24-18 loss to the Bills on Thursday night. He also rushed once for 14 yards.
Godwin led the Buccaneers wideouts in receptions, receiving yards and targets, with only versatile running back Rachaad White outperforming him. The veteran receiver also recorded both his first touchdown and rush attempt of the season, the former coming on a three-yard scoring grab just past the midway point of the second quarter. Godwin has at least five receptions and 50 yards in all but one game this season heading into a Week 9 road matchup against the Texans on Sunday, Nov. 5.

Gabe Davis WR | BUF
Bills' Gabe Davis: Season-high reception total in win
Davis brought in nine of 12 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 24-18 win over the Buccaneers on Thursday night.
Davis tied with Stefon Diggs for the team lead in receptions and targets while checking in second in receiving yards. The speedster also produced his fifth touchdown of the season on a four-yard scoring grab in the third quarter, and his catch total was highest of the campaign. Davis' night represented a major resurgence from his season-worst one-catch, six-yard effort against the Patriots in Week 7, and he could once again play a major role in a Week 9 road matchup against the Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 5.

Stefon Diggs WR | NE
Bills' Stefon Diggs: Busy night in win
Diggs secured nine of 12 targets for 70 yards in the Bills' 24-18 win over the Buccaneers on Thursday night.
Diggs tied with Gabe Davis for the team lead in receptions and targets while checking in third in receiving yards. The star wideout wasn't able to get into the end zone for only the second time in five games, but his catch total was his second highest of the campaign. Diggs has also now logged double-digit targets in four consecutive contests heading into a big Week 9 road showdown against the Bengals on Sunday night, Nov. 5.
