  • 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Productive in upset loss

Aiyuk brought in five of nine targets for 109 yards in the 49ers' 31-17 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

Aiyuk finished second in receiving yards on the afternoon for the 49ers, eclipsing the century mark for the third time this season in the process. The fourth-year pro has been a solid component of the passing attack throughout the campaign, but he could see his targets take a bit of a hit if Deebo Samuel (shoulder) returns as expected for a Week 10 road matchup against the Jaguars following a Week 9 bye.

  • Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN

Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: Another elite effort in win

Chase brought in 10 of 12 targets for 100 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals' 31-17 in over the 49ers on Sunday. He also fumbled once but recovered.

Chase led Bengals pass catchers across the stat sheet and helped put the nail in the coffin of the 49ers with his 17-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter that he punctuated with a backflip in a post-score celebration. Chase now has double-digit targets in four of the last five games, including in three straight, and has hit or eclipsed the century mark on three occasions overall. The 2021 first-round pick should once again play an integral role in a Week 9 home showdown against the Bills next Sunday night.

  • Zay Flowers WR | BAL

Ravens' Zay Flowers: Career-low yardage in win

Flowers caught five of seven targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Cardinals.

Flowers led the team in targets and catches but didn't make much of the volume. The 2023 first-round draft pick posted the lowest yardage total of his young career, as Flowers had at least 48 receiving yards in each of his first seven games. Flowers will look to bounce back in Week 9 against the Seahawks.

  • Romeo Doubs WR | NE

Packers' Romeo Doubs: Scores fifth TD of season

Doubs caught four of nine targets for 18 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Vikings.

His nine targets led the Packers, but Doubs did little with the volume until catching a one-yard TD from Jordan Love in garbage time. It's Doubs' fifth touchdown in seven games this season, and the scores have kept his fantasy value afloat as he's been held to 30 receiving yards or less in five of those contests. He'll look for more consistency in Week 9 against the Rams.

  • Jayden Reed WR | GB

Packers' Jayden Reed: Leading receiver in loss

Reed caught four of six targets for 83 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Vikings.

The 2023 second-round pick was the Packers' leading receiving on the day in terms of yardage, although Romeo Doubs (nine) and Christian Watson (eight) both saw more targets and AJ Dillon caught more passes (five). Reed also set a new career high with the 83-yard performance, and he appears to have held onto a significant role in the passing game since Watson's Week 4 return to the lineup. Green Bay's passing game as a whole could be poised for a breakout in Week 9 against a Rams defense that just got lit up by Dak Prescott and the Cowboys.

  • Josh Downs WR | IND

Colts' Josh Downs: Team-high receiving yardage in loss

Downs secured seven of nine targets for 72 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 38-27 loss to the Saints on Sunday.

Downs led the Colts in receiving yards while checking in second in receptions and receiving yards to Michael Pittman. Downs' catch total was also a season high, and the speedy rookie now has at least five receptions in four consecutive games. Given his impressive body of work, Downs will likely be heavily involved once again in a Week 9 road battle against the Panthers.

  • K.J. Osborn WR | TEN

Vikings' K.J. Osborn: Just misses 100-yard day

Osborn caught eight of 10 passes for 99 yards in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Packers.

The fourth-year wideout led Minnesota in catches, yards and targets, but it was Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson on the end of TD passes from Kirk Cousins. The quarterback suffered what's feared to be a season-ending Achilles tear late in Sunday's game, and his loss would impact the production and ceiling of all the team's receiving options, including Osborn. Jaren Hall, a fifth-round pick in 2023, will likely be under center in Week 9 against the Falcons, with veteran backup Nick Mullens (back) eligible to come off IR as soon as Week 10.

  • Jordan Addison WR | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Finds end zone again Sunday

Addison caught seven of eight targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Packers.

The rookie wideout caught a 20-yard strike from Kirk Cousins (Achilles) in the third quarter for the Vikings' final points of the afternoon, extending his TD streak to four games and giving Addison seven touchdowns in his first eight NFL games. Unfortunately for the Vikings' passing game, Cousins' day ended early with what's feared to be a torn Achilles that would cost the QB the rest of the season. If that's the case, Addison will likely be catching passes from fellow rookie Jaren Hall in Week 9 against the Falcons, with veteran backup Nick Mullens (back) not eligible to come off IR until at least Week 10.

  • Ravens' Odell Beckham: Returns to game in Arizona

Beckham (stomach) returned in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Beckham was shaken up when Arizona safety Budda Baker ran into him earlier in the second half, but the stomach contusion suffered on that play wasn't significant enough to sideline the wide receiver for the remainder of the contest. Beckham is back in with the Ravens nursing a 24-15 lead in Arizona.

  • Josh Palmer WR | BUF

Chargers' Joshua Palmer: Suits up versus Chicago

Palmer (knee) is listed as active for Sunday night's game against the Bears.

Palmer missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but after his return to a limited session Friday he was listed as questionable heading into the weekend. With Palmer's availability against Chicago confirmed, the wideout figures to remain a key cog in the Chargers' Week 8 passing game alongside PPR stalwart Keenan Allen in the absence of any in-game setbacks or limitations, with Quentin Johnston and Derius Davis also candidates to mix in. In his team's 31-17 loss to the Chiefs last weekend, Palmer caught five of his seven targets for a season-high 133 yards.
