  • Packers' Christian Watson: Sits out Wednesday's practice

Watson (hamstring) was listed as a non-participant for Wednesday's walkthrough.

Watson's listing comes as no surprise, as he was seen taking part in the team stretch but didn't join his teammates outside on the practice field. As for the rest of the Packers' receiving corps, Jayden Reed (toe/chest) was listed as a limited participant, while Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) also was a non-participant like Watson. As a result, the Green Bay receiver situation is one to watch as the week rolls along to get a sense of who among the group may be available along with Romeo Doubs and Malik Heath on Sunday in Minnesota.

  • Josh Palmer WR | BUF

Chargers' Joshua Palmer: In concussion protocol

Palmer didn't practice Wednesday due to a concussion.

Palmer played 61 offensive snaps and logged five catches on eight targets for 47 yards in this past Saturday's 24-22 loss to the Bills, but he was placed in the NFL's concussion protocol at some point after the game, according to Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times. The Chargers were also without Keenan Allen (heel) at Wednesday's practice, so for the time being, Quentin Johnston, Alex Erickson and Jalen Guyton are the Chargers' top healthy receivers as Sunday's game in Denver approaches.

  • Noah Brown WR | WAS

Texans' Noah Brown: Limited in practice

Brown (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.

Dealing with the same injury for more than a month now, Brown has played in four straight games since missing Weeks 11 and 12. His fantasy value for Week 17 against the Titans partially hinges on the health of quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion), who was a limited practice participant Wednesday after missing the past two games.

  • Jayden Reed WR | GB

Packers' Jayden Reed: Officially limited Wednesday

Reed (toe/chest) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Among the Packers' banged-up wide receivers, Reed was the only one to log any on-field work to begin Week 17 prep, while Christian Watson (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) went down as non-participants. Reed wasn't able to practice at all last week before being inactive this past Sunday in Carolina, so he's in a better spot on the health front as this weekend's game in Minnesota approaches.

  • Tyreek Hill WR | MIA

Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Held out of practice to rest

Hill (ankle/rest) didn't practice Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

The addition of 'veteran rest' next to Hill's name on the injury report essentially confirms he didn't suffer any setbacks with his sprained ankle during a 22-20 win over the Cowboys on Sunday. He missed the Week 15 win over the Jets but then caught nine of 14 targets for 99 yards in his return to the lineup against Dallas. Hill should be all set for his usual role Sunday against Baltimore, whereas running mate Jaylen Waddle (ankle) looks to be more in danger of missing the pivotal Week 17 game.

  • Zay Flowers WR | BAL

Ravens' Zay Flowers: Sits out practice with calf injury

Flowers was listed as a non-participanton Wednesday's practice estimate due to a calf injury.

Flowers was listed with a foot injury on last week's report before suiting up and catching nine of 13 targets for 72 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 33-19 win at San Francisco. The Ravens didn't actually practice Wednesday, and any level of participation Thursday should have Flowers on the right track to suit up this Sunday in Miami.

  • Browns' Marquise Goodwin: Questionable for Thursday

Goodwin (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game versus the Jets, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Goodwin is in danger of missing his fifth game of the season in Week 17, this time due to a knee injury. If he can't go Thursday, James Proche could be in line to see increased reps on the boundaries.

  • Keenan Allen WR | LAC

Chargers' Keenan Allen: Misses practice Wednesday

    Allen (heel) didn't practice Wednesday.

Allen hasn't practiced in any fashion since the Chargers' Week 14 loss to the Broncos, and his continued absence Wednesday doesn't inspire much confidence that he'll be available for Sunday's rematch with Denver. With fellow wide receiver Joshua Palmer also missing practice Wednesday due to a concussion, the Chargers' top healthy options at the position are currently Quentin Johnston, Alex Erickson and Jalen Guyton.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | WAS

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Tending to sprained neck

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Samuel will be limited at Wednesday's walkthrough due to a sprained neck, Lindsey Pallares of the 49ers' official site reports.

The 49ers emerged from Monday's 33-19 loss to the Ravens with a number of high-profile injuries, but Samuel's concern wasn't revealed until Wednesday. He'll thus have two more chances to get back to full activity in practice before the team potentially tags him with a designation for Sunday's game at Washington.

  • Marquise Brown WR | PHI

Cardinals' Marquise Brown: Held out of Wednesday's practice

Brown (heel) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Brown has yet to log any on-field work since aggravating his heel injury in the second half of a Week 15 loss to the 49ers. Since he exited early in both of his last two appearances for the same reason, the Cardinals clearly are having the wide receiver focus on rehab with the hope he'll be able to make an appearance in one or both of the final two weeks of the campaign. Regardless, kicking off Week 17 prep with no activity doesn't leave Brown with much leeway ahead of Sunday's game at Philadelphia.
