  • Jalen Nailor WR | LV

Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Missing third consecutive game

Nailor (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday night's game against the Packers, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

The second-year wideout has yet to clear protocol after sustaining a concussion during the Vikings' Week 13 win over the Raiders. The loss of Nailor is another blow to a depleted group of weapons in Minnesota, as Justin Jefferson, K.J. Osborn and Brandon Powell are the only wide receivers that won't carry injury designations into Week 17.

  • Patriots' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Third straight absence Week 17

Smith-Schuster (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Smith-Schuster will miss a third consecutive game Sunday. He'll have one more chance to take the field in Week 18 against the Jets before the wide receiver's disappointing 2023 campaign comes to an end. DeVante Parker and Demario Douglas should continue to lead New England's receiving corps in Week 17, with Jalen Reagor, Tyquan Thornton and Kayshon Boutte occupying depth roles.

  • Chris Olave WR | NO

Saints' Chris Olave: Good to go

Olave (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Brooke Kirchhofer of NewOrleans.Football reports.

This was expected, given that Olave returned for a Week 16 loss to the Rams and caught nine of 13 targets for 123 yards (plus a two-point conversion) just four days after missing a Week 15 win over the Giants. He could even pick up a few more snaps/routes than usual this week with the Saints fighting to stick around in the NFC playoff hunt. Olave's limited participation in Week 17 practices mostly appears borne out of caution.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | NYG

Bears' Darnell Mooney: Won't play Week 17

Mooney (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Mooney entered concussion protocol earlier in the week and failed to gain clearance before Sunday's game. If he clears concussion protocol next week, Mooney could be available for Chicago's season finale against the Packers. Otherwise, he'll finish his fourth NFL season with 31 catches for 414 yards and one touchdown on 61 targets.

  • Keenan Allen WR | LAC

Chargers' Keenan Allen: Won't play Sunday

Allen (heel) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

The same applies to Joshua Palmer (concussion), which sets the stage for Quentin Johnston, Alex Erickson, Jalen Guyton and Derius Davis to lead the Chargers' Week 17 WR corps. Allen now will target a potential return to action in the team's season finale against the Chiefs.

  • Josh Palmer WR | BUF

Chargers' Joshua Palmer: Won't play against Broncos

Palmer (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

With both Palmer and Keenan Allen (heel) unavailable, rookie Quentin Johnston, Jalen Guyton and Alex Erickson are expected to work as the top wideouts for quarterback Easton Stick in the Chargers' depleted passing attack. If Palmer's able to clear concussion protocol, he'll have one more chance to play Week 18 against the Chiefs before Los Angeles' season comes to an end.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Questionable versus Rams

Robinson (quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Robinson practiced fully Thursday, which bodes well for his chances of suiting up, but he still got a questionable designation Friday, and official confirmation on his availability may not come until 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. The second-year wideout has at least three catches in each of his last five games, but he has posted more than 35 receiving yards only once over that span.

  • Packers' Christian Watson: Listed as doubtful

Watson (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Coach Matt LaFleur said Watson would need to return to practice Friday to have any chance of avoiding a fourth straight missed game. With that not happening, the second-year wideout is highly unlikely to play, potentially leaving Malik Heath in a significant role given that Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) is listed as questionable and appears no better than 50/50 to play. The Packers at least get Jayden Reed (toe/chest) back this Sunday, as he avoided a Week 17 designation after sitting out Week 16.

  • Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Officially questionable

Wicks (chest) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Minnesota after managing "very limited" activity this week, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Coach Matt LaFleur said Wicks would need to return to practice Friday in order to play, but the Packers then listed the rookie as questionable -- rather than doubtful or out -- even after a third straight missed practice Friday. Fellow wideout Christian Watson (hamstring) is listed as doubtful, while slot man Jayden Reed (toe) avoided a game designation after missing last week's game. If Watson and Wicks end up inactive, Malik Heath would be the favorite to get most of the snaps in three-wide sets alongside Reed and Romeo Doubs.

  • Jayden Reed WR | GB

Packers' Jayden Reed: Cleared for Sunday night

Reed (toe/chest) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Minnesota, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Meanwhile, WR Christian Watson (hamstring) is doubtful, and Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) is listed as questionable but appears less than 50/50 to play. Reed has been a key part of Green Bay's passing game in any case, and he and Romeo Doubs figure to be the two top options for Jordan Love come Sunday night. Reed's chest injury has been lingering for a while without threatening his availability, whereas the toe injury forced him to the inactive list for last week's 33-30 win at Carolina.
