Kirkwood signed with the Ravens' practice squad Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.

Kirkwood suited up in 13 regular-season games for the Saints last season, but he signed with Baltimore as a free agent in June after a tryout. Unfortunately for the Temple product, he was unable to secure an active roster spot, but he'll now have the opportunity to stay with the franchise and earn one this season.

Ismail signed with the Ravens' practice squad Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.

Ismail linked up with Baltimore in May as an undrafted free agent and is the son of one-time Ravens receiver Qadry Ismail. Although he was unable to make the team's 53-man roster out of camp, the younger Ismail will now have the opportunity to stick with the team's practice squad.

Palmer signed with the Cardinals' practice squad Wednesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

Palmer was a 2024 sixth-round selection out of UAB by Arizona, but despite that, he was unable to secure a spot on the team's final roster. However, he'll now have the opportunity to stick around in the desert and work to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.

The Lions signed Peoples-Jones to the practice squad Thursday.

Peoples-Jones didn't manage to stick with Detroit's initial 53-man roster, but he'll continue his development with the team and remain in house as a pivot option. The 2020 sixth-round pick is coming off the worst season of his career, but he did pile up a 61-839-3 receiving line with the Browns back in 2022. He figures to be one of the first names called up in the regular season if the Lions suffer any injuries to their wide receiver corps.

Washington signed with the Chiefs' practice squad Wednesday.

Washington bounced back and forth between the Chiefs' practice squad and active roster in 2023, and he appeared in six regular-season games while mostly playing on special teams. He wasn't able to crack Kansas City's 53-man roster, but he'll return on the taxi squad.

The Dolphins were awarded DuBose off waivers Wednesday.

DuBose was waived by the Packers on Tuesday after he was unable to carve out a spot among the crowded wide receiver corps. He'll still be buried on Miami's depth chart, but he'll have the chance to be active on game day if he can impress his new team.

Johnson signed with the Chargers' practice squad Wednesday.

Johnson was the Chargers' seventh-round selection of the 2024 NFL Draft, so it doesn't come as a surprise that he was signed to the taxi squad after failing to make the 53-man roster. He could be promoted to the active roster should any of the Bolts' wide receivers miss time.

Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said Wednesday that Beckham is recovering from an undisclosed offseason procedure, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Miami has been dodgy about the details of Beckham's undisclosed injury all offseason, though Grier again stated that the team was aware of the issue when signing the veteran wideout. As a result of starting the season on the PUP list, Beckham's first opportunity to take the field will come Week 5 versus the Patriots on Oct. 6. He didn't practice in any capacity during training camp.

Rice is not expected to begin the regular season on the commissioner's exempt list, and the NFL will instead make a decision on his status after his legal process has concluded, Mark Maske of The Washington Post reports.

Rice seems unlikely to entirely avoid a suspension for his off-field problems this offseason, but the league isn't expected to intervene until the legal situation pays itself out, which could occur later this year or potentially even be delayed until 2025. He faces eight felony charges in connection with a high-speed, multi-car hit-and-run accident that occurred March 30 in Dallas, including charges of aggravated assault, collision involving serious bodily injury and collision involving injury. As long as Rice is eligible to play, he'll be locked in as a top target for quarterback Patrick Mahomes and will be in prime position to build off his highly successful rookie season, but at some point, it seems all but guaranteed that he'll face a multi-game suspension. The Chiefs brought in wideouts Marquise Brown (shoulder) and Xavier Worthy to join Rice and tight end Travis Kelce atop the receiving corps, but neither seem especially likely to intrude on Rice's workload, as he primarily operates from the slot and on short routes.

Washington signed Tremayne to the practice squad Wednesday.

Tremayne spent all of last season on the Commanders' practice squad after signing as an undrafted free agent in May of 2023. He wasn't able to crack Washington's 53-man roster this time around, and he will reprise his role on the team's taxi squad for the upcoming season.
