  • CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Limited production in blowout win

Lamb recorded five receptions on 10 targets for 61 yards in Sunday's 33-17 win over Cleveland. He added three rushes for 25 yards.

Lamb was unsurprisingly the leading producer among Dallas' receiving corps, though game context slowed his overall production. By halftime, Lamb had four receptions for 58 yards, highlighted by a 32-yard reception down the right sideline midway through the first quarter. However, with the Cowboys up 27-3 just two minutes into the second half, they rarely took to the air in the final 28 minutes of game time, thus limiting Lamb's Week 1 line.

  • Davante Adams WR | LAR

Raiders' Davante Adams: Modest Week 1 showing

Adams recorded five receptions on six targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 22-10 loss to the Chargers.

Adams is likely to struggle to maintain elite efficiency this season given the quarterback situation in Las Vegas, though his target location and volume were both notable in Sunday's loss. Brock Bowers led the Raiders in targets in his first pro game with eight, and Gardner Minshew appeared unwilling to push the ball downfield when targeting Adams as the star wideout was forced to do the majority of his damage after the catch. If these trends persist, Adams will still be a useful fantasy option, though his opportunity for big performances may be limited.

  • DeAndre Carter WR | CLE

Bears' DeAndre Carter: Targeted twice in opener

Carter hauled in one of two targets for six yards in the Bears' 24-17 win over the Titans on Sunday.

In addition to returning five punts for 64 yards and one kickoff for 67 yards, Carter also saw time in the wide receiver rotation. With two targets, Carter had the most targets of any Chicago receiver aside from DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze. If Carter continues to earn the trust of the coaching staff, it's possible that he moves into a more prominent role in the offense if other pass catchers miss time.

  • Bears' Velus Jones: Three touches in victory

Jones rushed twice for 11 yards while catching an eight-yard pass in the Bears' 24-17 win over the Titans on Sunday.

After an impressive preseason in which Jones was effective as a running back, he served in the committee with Khalil Herbert and Travis Homer behind starter D'Andre Swift. Although it appears that Jones may be in line to see snaps on offense, he may need to separate himself from the other backup running backs if he is going to have reliable fantasy value.

  • Chris Olave WR | NO

Saints' Chris Olave: Quiet in Sunday's rout

Olave caught both his targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 47-10 rout of the Panthers.

The third-year wideout's numbers were a significant disappointment considering the final score, but Derek Carr's three first-half touchdowns went to Rashid Shaheed, Foster Moreau (head) and Juwan Johnson, and the Saints didn't need to pass the ball in the second half with a massive lead. The overall performance of the Saints' offense was still encouraging for Olave's numbers in the long run, and he should still be locked in as the team's top receiver. Olave will likely be a much bigger part of the game plan in Week 2 against the Cowboys.

  • Puka Nacua WR | LAR

Rams' Puka Nacua: Won't return against Lions

Nacua (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Lions.

Nacua briefly came back into the game after being ruled questionable to return in the first half, but he promptly exited again and needed a cart to get to the locker room at halftime. Having been ruled out for the second half of the season opener, Nacua's next chance to take the field will be next Sunday in Arizona.

  • Rashid Shaheed WR | SEA

Saints' Rashid Shaheed: Hauls in long TD in win

Shaheed caught three of five targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 47-10 win over the Panthers.

The third-year wideout was on the other end of a 59-yard TD pass from Derek Carr in the first quarter, accounting for most of his team high in receiving yards. Shaheed was expected to assume a bigger role in the Saints' offense this year under new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, and the early returns were excellent. Shaheed will take on a much stingier secondary in Week 2 against the Cowboys.

  • Rome Odunze WR | CHI

Bears' Rome Odunze: One catch in NFL debut

Odunze recorded one reception on four targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Titans.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Odunze had the quietest performance of the Bears' wide receiver trio. He made his lone catch and first as a pro with 1:30 left in the second quarter, which came off of a deflection on a pass that was not intended for him. Per Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic, Odunze was on the field for 40 of the Bears' 54 offensive snaps. That bodes well for his potential production moving forward despite a disappointing NFL debut.

  • Puka Nacua WR | LAR

Rams' Puka Nacua: Questionable to return due to knee

Nacua (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Lions.

Nacua got hurt in the first half after catching all four of his targets for 35 yards and adding a seven-yard rush. It's unclear if this knee injury is related to the bursa sac issue in his knee that bothered Nacua throughout August but didn't affect his preparation during the week leading up to Sunday's regular-season opener. Per Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, Nacua came back in for a play after the initial questionable designation but then limped to the sideline.

  • Keenan Allen WR | LAC

Bears' Keenan Allen: Top target in Chicago

Allen recorded four receptions on 11 targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Titans.

Like the entire Chicago offense, Allen disappointed in Week 1. He was extremely inefficient, averaging only 2.6 yards per target with a long reception of nine yards. Positively, Allen was the most-targeted option of the Bears' three top receivers, so when Caleb Williams presumably improves, Allen should be a significant beneficiary.
