  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Broncos' Josh Reynolds: Limited in practice Wednesday

Reynolds (Achilles) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Reynolds has been managing an Achilles injury in the early part of the season, but it hasn't stopped him from suiting up on Sundays while posting a team-leading 174 receiving yards through three weeks. While Reynolds' practice reps may continue to be capped this week, he doesn't seem to be in any danger of sitting out Sunday against the Jets.

  • Van Jefferson WR | WAS

Steelers' Van Jefferson: Healthy heading into Week 4

Jefferson (eye) didn't appear on the Steelers' first Week 4 injury report released Wednesday, Dale Lolley of the team's official site reports.

Jefferson exited Sunday's 20-10 win over the Chargers due to an eye injury, but he has recovered and practiced without limitations Wednesday. He will look to build on his season stat line of three catches for 15 yards on five targets when the Steelers travel to Indianapolis on Sunday.

  • Tank Dell WR | HOU

Texans' Tank Dell: Termed day-to-day by coach

Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans labeled Dell as day-to-day after the receiver sat out practice Wednesday with a chest injury, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Dell appeared to suffer from sore ribs as well as an injury to his hand or wrist during Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Vikings, but his absence from practice Wednesday was attributed to a chest injury. In any case, Dell will have two more opportunities to resume practicing before a favorable home matchup against a leaky Jacksonville secondary that allowed four first-half passing touchdowns to the Bills in a blowout loss Monday.

  • DeVonta Smith WR | PHI

Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Sits out Wednesday's practice

Smith (concussion) is not participating in Wednesday's walk-through practice, Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Since suffering a head injury in this past Sunday's win over the Saints, Smith hasn't made enough progress through the NFL's five-step concussion protocol to resume practicing in any capacity. With A.J. Brown (hamstring) also not practicing Wednesday, Philadelphia could be without its top two wideouts for this Sunday's road matchup against the Buccaneers. In order to have a chance at playing Sunday, Brown will likely need to practice in some fashion Thursday and/or Friday and then gain clearance from an independent neurologist before exiting the protocol. Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson and practice squad player Parris Campbell will have to lead Philadelphia's wide receiver room if both Smith and Brown are unable to go Week 4.

  • A.J. Brown WR | PHI

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Not practicing Wednesday

Brown (hamstring) was not spotted on the field in the portion of Wednesday's walk-through practice that was open to the media, Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Brown and DeVonta Smith (concussion) are both sitting out Wednesday's walkthrough practice. Brown has missed consecutive games and hasn't practiced since Sept. 13, while Smith remains in the concussion protocol due to a hit to the head suffered in Philadelphia's win over New Orleans this past weekend. While Brown's activity will need to be monitored Thursday and Friday to get a better sense of his availability for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, it's worth noting that the Eagles are on bye Week 5. If the Eagles have any lingering concerns about the star wide receiver's hamstring, he could be rested for another game before potentially making his return to action Week 6 versus Cleveland.

  • Jordan Addison WR | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Addison: To participate in walkthrough

Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said he expects Addison (ankle) to be listed as at least a partial participant in Wednesday's walk-through practice, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

According to Seifert, O'Connell is hopeful that Addison will put an end to his two-game absence in this Sunday's game against the Packers. The second-year wideout is expected to be listed as a limited participant upon the release of Wednesday's injury report, which would represent an upgrade after he failed to practice in any capacity since suffering the injury in the Week 1 win over the Giants. If he ultimately is able to play Sunday, Addison would primarily eat into the role of Jalen Nailor, who scored in both contests that Addison was sidelined.

  • Tank Dell WR | HOU

Texans' Tank Dell: Not seen at practice

Dell (ribs/hand) doesn't appear to be practicing Wednesday, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.

Dell continued playing after he took a hard hit to the ribs during Sunday's 34-7 loss to Minnesota, and he later suffered a hand/wrist injury on the final drive. Garbage-time production helped him to a season-high 62 receiving yards, but Dell may now be in some danger of missing a Week 4 home game against Jacksonville. He reportedly avoided structural damage, so a return to practice Thursday or Friday should put him on track to play.

  • Darius Slayton WR | NYG

Giants' Darius Slayton: Questionable for Week 4

Slayton (thumb) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Cowboys, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Slayton made a brief exit at the tail end of this past Sunday's win at Cleveland due to a thumb injury. He underwent X-rays that returned negative, but he was listed as limited on the Giants' practice reports issued Monday and Tuesday and thus will head into Thursday with a designation. Slayton's status will be confirmed about 90 minutes before an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, when the Giants release their inactive list.

  • Keenan Allen WR | LAC

Bears' Keenan Allen: Returning to practice Wednesday

Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said that Allen (heel) will return to practice Wednesday as a partial participant, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Allen's heel injury has prevented him from practicing or playing the last two weeks, but he looks like he'll be back on the field Wednesday, albeit in a limited capacity. Eberflus said he's "hopeful" Allen will be able to suit up for Sunday's game against the Rams, per Scott Bair of Marquee Sports Network. Allen's heel issue may be something he has to manage over the course of the season, after the veteran wideout missed time due to the injury in mid-August and also dealt with a similar injury down the stretch of the 2023 season with the Chargers.

  • Bills' Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Leads receivers in snaps

Valdes-Scantling hauled in one of his two targets for a seven-yard gain in Monday's 47-10 win over the Jaguars.

Valdes-Scantling finished as the surprising leader in playing time among Bills wideouts in Week 3. He took the field for 49 of the Bills' 64 offensive snaps, with his 77 percent snap share narrowly outpacing Mack Hollins (72 percent) and Khalil Shakir (55 percent). However, even with quarterback Josh Allen spreading the ball out liberally among his pass catchers through the first three weeks, Valdes-Scantling hasn't been able to make a mark in the box score. He's drawn just five targets this season and will likely continue to function mainly as a downfield threat who attracts attention from the defense and frees up looks for others underneath.
