Cager caught eight of 10 targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 22-16 loss to the Eagles.

With the Giants resting most of their starters for Week 18 after having been eliminated from the playoffs, Cager wound up being starting QB Davis Webb's favorite option on the afternoon, leading the team in catches, targets and receiving yards. It was a career-best performance for the journeyman tight end, but he'll remain a depth option for whatever team brings him aboard in 2023.

McBride had three receptions on as many targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 38-13 loss to San Francisco.

McBride was one of the few bright spots for the Cardinals in a forgettable season finale. The rookie tight end finishes with 29 receptions for 265 yards and a touchdown, with most of that production coming down the stretch in place of injured starter Zach Ertz (knee). The latter had major surgery to his knee in November, so McBride could continue starting for Arizona to begin the 2023 campaign.

Higbee caught four of seven targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 19-16 overtime loss to Seattle.

Higbee finishes the 2022 season with career highs in targets (108), catches (72) and receiving yards (620) but not touchdowns (three). The tight end turned 30 on New Years Day, and he's under contract with the Rams through 2023.

Kittle had four receptions (six targets) for 29 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 38-13 win over Arizona.

Kittle continued his late-season scoring flurry with two more trips to the end zone, cracking the double-digit touchdown mark for the first time in his career. It wasn't all roses for the exuberant tight end in 2022, as he missed the first two games of the year due to injury, then struggled to produce consistently until the second half of the season. Fantasy managers who were able to withstand Kittle's early-season woes were rewarded handsomely during the fantasy playoff period with a whopping seven touchdowns over the final four weeks of the season. Kittle will likely be priced at a premium in DFS formats when San Francisco begins postseason play next week.

Wesco didn't handle an offensive touch in the Bears' 29-13 loss to the Vikings in Week 18, and ended the season with two receptions for 26 yards over 14 games played.

Wesco averaged about 15 snaps per game, but he was targeted four times all year. Primarily a blocker, he has eight receptions over his four-year career, and he hasn't had more than three catches in any season. He's now an unrestricted free agent.

Njoku recorded four receptions on five targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-14 loss to the Steelers.

Njoku finished second on the team in both targets and receptions behind only Nick Chubb. He hauled in a 10-yard touchdown pass midway through the second quarter to tally the first score by either team in the game. With Sunday's effort, Njoku will close the 2022 season with a career-high 58 receptions despite playing in only 14 games. He'll likely continue to see a significant role in the offense in 2023, pairing with Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones as the Browns' top pass catchers.

Deguara (calf) is listed as active Sunday against the Lions, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

After sitting out Thursday's practice due to a calf injury, Deguara returned to a limited session Friday and entered the weekend listed as questionable for Week 18 action. Now that his status is confirmed, he'll continue to play a key role as a blocking tight end for the Packers offense, which doesn't hold much sway in fantasy considering he has a 13-114-0 line on 15 targets in 16 games this season.

Akins secured four of eight targets for 70 yards and two touchdowns in the Texans' 32-31 win over the Colts on Sunday. He also caught a game-winning two-point conversion pass.

The journeyman tight end played the unlikely hero in an unlikely win, corralling a 28-yard touchdown grab on a 4th-and-20 heave from Davis Mills late in the fourth quarter and then securing the subsequent two-point conversion pass that proved the difference in the contest. Akins' Week 18 production allowed him to finish the 2022 campaign having tied his career high in receptions (37) and setting new personal bests in receiving yards (495) and touchdowns (five). The fifth-year pro played this season on a one-year contract, and given his ability to once again offer solid production as a pass catcher, Akins shouldn't have much trouble finding an NFL home in 2023.

Hill recorded five carries for 24 yards and hauled in his only target for one yard during Sunday's 10-7 defeat versus Carolina.

Hill saw a downturn in workload during Sunday's regular-season finale, as he logged his fewest number of touches since the Week 13 loss to Tampa Bay. The 32-year-old was limited by a back injury during Week 18 prep, so it's possible that issue could have affected his usage. Hill finishes the 2022 campaign with career lows as a passer, completing 13 of 19 attempts for 240 yards and two touchdowns. Instead, his versatile role on offense shifted distinctly toward the ground game, as he recorded career highs in carries (96) and rushing yards (575) to go along with seven rushing touchdowns. He also collected nine receptions (on 13 targets) for 77 yards and two touchdowns, and his 11 total touchdowns are the second-most of any season in his six-year career. With the Saints lacking both a clear starting quarterback and No. 2 running back heading into the offseason, Hill seems poised to continue serving as a key component of the team's offense in 2023.

Kmet caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 29-13 loss to the Vikings in Week 18 and ended the season with 50 receptions, 544 yards and seven touchdowns over 17 games played.

Although Kmet easily set his career high in touchdowns, it was a disappointing season after he had 612 yards in 2021. Of course, the passing offense was broken for much of the season, and at no point was it a high-volume passing attack. He went on a scoring binge between Weeks 8 and 10 with five touchdowns, but he then failed to score over the following five games. His future fantasy value will be dependent upon whether the Bears will be able to improve their overall passing attack and is under contract with the team through the 2023 season.
