Gindorff signed with the Steelers' practice squad Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Gindorff will add depth to the team's practice squad with Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) currently sidelined and the team signing Rodney Williams to their active roster. The North Dakota State product went undrafted in 2023 and spent training camp with the Seahawks before ultimately being waived in August.

Williams was signed from the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Williams spent much of 2022 with Pittsburgh after going undrafted out of UT Martin and was with the team again during training camp and ultimately remained as a member of the practice squad. The 25-year-old has yet to play in an NFL game, but that is likely to change Sunday against the Ravens with his addition to the 53-man roster and Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) considered doubtful for the matchup.

Knox secured his only target for 12 yards in Sunday's 48-20 win over the Dolphins.

Knox had an underwhelming performance Week 4 while playing 29 of the Bills' 58 offensive snaps. The veteran tight end played one fewer snap than rookie Dalton Kincaid, who finished the game with four catches on five targets. Kincaid seems to have supplanted Knox as the Bills' preferred pass-catching option at tight end, though the two occasionally share the field together when Kincaid lines up outside or in the slot. If a near-even split continues between the Bills' top two options, Knox will at least have a chance to be involved in some capacity. However, consistent fantasy production may be hard to come by for the 26-year-old.

Sample secured his only target for minus-one yard in Sunday's 27-3 loss to the Titans.

Sample was a nonfactor Sunday, seeing just one target for the second straight week. The veteran's 17 offensive snaps were the third-most among tight ends, with both Tanner Hudson and Mitchell Wilcox handling more snaps in the contest. Top tight end Irv Smith was ruled out for Week 4 with a hamstring injury, but Sample remained an afterthought in the Bengals' struggling offense. The 27-year-old should be left out of fantasy lineups going into a Week 5 matchup with the Cardinals.

Thomas secured all three of his targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Eagles.

Thomas returned from a concussion for Sunday's matchup with the Eagles and returned to his usual role as the team's top tight end. The veteran played 79 percent of Washington's offensive snaps, far ahead of both John Bates and Cole Turner. Though his final line wasn't especially exciting, Thomas' involvement in the offense in his return was a promising sight. Thomas gets a favorable matchup in Week 5, when the Commanders take on a struggling Bears pass defense in a Thursday night game.

Bates caught his only target for six yards in Sunday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Eagles.

Operating as the Commanders' No. 2 tight end, Bates was not a big part of the game plan Sunday. The veteran played just 27 of Washington's 78 offensive snaps, far behind starter Logan Thomas who returned from a concussion and played 62 snaps in the contest. With Thomas healthy, Bates should remain far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 5 matchup with the Bears.

Turner failed to draw a single target in Sunday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Eagles.

After leading the Commanders in targets in Week 3, Turner's involvement in the offense plummeted against the Eagles on Sunday. The 23-year-old tight end failed to record a reception for the first time this season while playing on just six offensive snaps in the contest. Turner's drop in snap share in Week 4 was a result of Logan Thomas' return from a concussion, as Thomas reestablished himself as the No. 1 tight end. Operating in a backup role behind both Thomas and John Bates, Turner should remain off the fantasy radar in a Week 5 matchup with the Bears.

McBride secured his only target for five yards in Sunday's 35-16 loss to the 49ers.

McBride continued to play behind the Cardinals' No. 1 tight end Zach Ertz on Sunday, playing just 19 of the Cardinals 71 offensive snaps. The second-year tight end saw just one target for the second straight game, as his involvement in Arizona's offensive is decreasing each week. McBride should remain far off the fantasy radar when the Cardinals host the Bengals in Week 5.

Dissly wasn't targeted in Monday's 24-3 win over the Giants.

Dissly returned to action after missing Week 3 with a shoulder injury. The 27-year-old tight end played 51 percent of the offensive snaps but failed to draw a target. He'll always be in the mix because of his blocking acumen, but fantasy managers should steer clear.

Parkinson failed to catch his only target in Monday's 24-3 win over the Giants.

Parkinson led all Seahawks tight ends with 30 offensive snaps, but he also marked his first catchless performance of the season. The 2020 fourth-round pick out of Stanford previously recorded six catches on nine targets for 87 yards through the first three games. He'll likely continue to be an unreliable fantasy option following the Seahawks' Week 5 bye.
