The Eagles are expected to place Goedert (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network report.

Goedert will have to miss at least the next four games once he's officially placed on IR, making him ineligible to return to the 53-man roster until Week 18. Rapoport suggests that the Eagles' goal is ensuring that Goedert is back to full speed heading into the playoffs, so the tight end's absence could be extended through the Jan. 5 regular-season finale versus the Giants. While Goedert missed time with a hamstring injury from Weeks 7 through 9, Grant Calcaterra filled in as the Eagles' top tight end and tallied nine receptions on nine targets for 93 yards during that stretch. Calcaterra is expected to once again get the first crack at filling in for Goedert this time around, with veteran C.J. Uzomah offering another option at the position.

The Saints placed Hill (knee) on injured reserve Friday.

A torn ACL suffered Week 13 rules Hill out for the rest of the season and makes him uncertain for Week 1 of 2025. He'll be 35 years old at that point, and it's not entirely clear he'll still be with the Saints. In the meantime, Juwan Johnson and Foster Moreau figure to get snaps/targets as a result of Hill's injury.

Goedert (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni used the term "week to week" after Goedert was forced out of last Sunday's win over the Ravens. The tight end didn't practice at all this week, which suggests he's in danger of missing time beyond Sunday. Grant Calcaterra figures to fill in as the starting tight end -- a role he handled for nearly a month earlier this season when Goedert was out with a hamstring injury.

Morris (shoulder/groin) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Rams.

The Bowling Green product appears to be trending toward playing ahead of Sunday's contest, as he upgraded from limited practice Thursday to a full session Friday. Morris could see a larger offensive role if he can play through his injuries in Week 14, especially with Dalton Kincaid (knee) also listed as questionable. Dawson Knox is currently the only tight end on the Bills' active roster without an injury designation for Sunday.

Rams coach Sean McVay said Friday that Higbee (knee) will not be activated for Sunday's game against the Bills, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

McVay didn't comment on expectations for a key game against the 49ers four days later. Higbee has been a full practice participant since last Friday, but the Rams are taking things slow due to the severity of his injury (ACL and MCL tears suffered Jan. 14). Davis Allen, Colby Parkinson and Hunter Long have formed a committee at tight end in recent weeks.

Moreau (shoulder) practiced in full Friday and does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Giants, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Moreau and Juwan Johnson (foot) both have had caps on their practice reps heading into Sunday's road matchup at New York, but neither will carry an injury designation into the weekend. In the wake of Taysom Hill (knee) sustaining a season-ending ACL tear, Moreau and Johnson have attained increased fantasy upside as the top remaining playmakers in New Orleans' tight end corps. In standard scoring formats, though, both Moreau and Johnson will still likely be touchdown dependent options.

Kincaid (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at the Rams.

Kincaid made an early exit Week 10 at Indianapolis due to a knee injury and wasn't able to practice until this week, when he strung together three consecutive limited sessions. He thus has a chance to end his absence at two games, something that'll be confirmed, one way or another, about 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. If Kincaid is inhibited or inactive this weekend, Dawson Knox again would handle most of the TE reps for the Bills.

Sanders (neck) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Philadelphia after being a full practice participant Friday, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.

Panthers coach Dave Canales said after Friday's practice that he expects Sanders to play, per Joe Person of The Athletic. The rookie missed Week 13 after taking a hard hit Week 12, pausing a run of strong form in which he'd caught nine of 10 targets for 144 yards and a TD over the span of two and a half games. Sanders has been one of Carolina's more productive pass catchers on a per-route basis this year, but he's only been a full-time starter in the absence of fellow tight end Tommy Tremble, who currently is healthy.
