Will Dissly TE | LAC
Chargers' Will Dissly: Reps capped Tuesday
Dissly (shoulder) was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice.
Dissly has missed the Chargers' last two games with the shoulder injury, but after not practicing in any fashion in Week 16, he seems to have made some progress to kick off Week 17 prep. The tight end will look to upgrade to full participation in practice by Thursday to clear the way for him to suit up Saturday at New England.

Tanner Hudson TE | CIN
Bengals' Tanner Hudson: Doesn't practice Tuesday
Hudson (knee) didn't participate in Cincinnati's practice Tuesday, Jay Morrison of SI.com reports.
Hudson missed the team's Week 16 win over the Browns with a knee injury and is now in danger of missing another matchup. If he can't return to practice prior to Saturday's matchup versus the Broncos, he will likely be sidelined for a second straight week.

Hayden Rucci TE | SF
Hayden Rucci: Cut from Miami's practice squad
The Dolphins cut Rucci from the practice squad Tuesday.
It's the second time Rucci has been let go from the Dolphins' practice squad this season. The undrafted rookie out of Wisconsin has not appeared in a regular-season game, and he'll look to catch on with a team that is in need of tight end depth on the practice squad.

David Martin-Robinson TE | TEN
Titans' David Martin-Robinson: Nabs first career reception
Martin-Robinson played two of the Titans' 61 snaps on offense and recorded a six-yard reception on his lone target in Sunday's 38-30 loss to the Colts.
A healthy inactive throughout much of his rookie season, Martin-Robinson has suited up in each of the Titans' last three games and came through with the first reception of his career Sunday. Though he may continue to suit up for Tennessee's final two games of the season, Martin-Robinson is unlikely to see a dramatic increase in playing time while starting tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo is available.

Kevin Foelsch TE | PIT
Kevin Foelsch: Cut from practice squad
The Eagles cut Foelsch from the practice squad Tuesday.
It's the second time Foelsch has been cut from Philadelphia's practice squad this season. He'll explore his next options and attempt to catch on with a team in need of tight end depth on the practice squad.

Peyton Hendershot TE | KC
Chiefs' Peyton Hendershot: Comes off IR
Hendershot (calf) was activated from injured reserve Monday and does not have an injury designation for Wednesday's Week 17 matchup versus Pittsburgh.
Hendershot had been on IR since late November due to a calf injury. He was designated to return Monday and estimated as a full practice participant both Monday and Tuesday. With no injury designation for Wednesday's game, Hendershot appears set to return to action against the Steelers. He'll presumably work as the Chiefs' third tight end behind Travis Kelce and Noah Gray while also contributing on special teams.

Michael Mayer TE | LV
Raiders' Michael Mayer: One target in Sunday's win
Mayer was unable to haul in his only target in Sunday's 19-14 win over the Jaguars.
After emerging with a seven-catch, 68-yard performance in Week 14, Mayer has since posted a disappointing 1-11-0 receiving line on three targets over the Raiders' past two games. Rookie tight end Brock Bowers continued to shine Sunday, as he racked up 11 receptions for 99 yards on 13 targets. Expect Mayer to continue taking a backseat to Bowers at New Orleans in Week 17.

Payne Durham TE | TB
Buccaneers' Payne Durham: Five catches in expanded role
Durham brought in five of seven targets for 29 yards in the Buccaneers' 26-24 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday night. He also fumbled once, but Tampa Bay retained possession.
With Cade Otton (knee) sidelined, Durham worked as the sole pass-catching option at tight end and finished the night tied for second in both receptions and targets. Both numbers also matched Durham's output in those categories over the 13 regular-season games he played as a rookie in 2023 and served as new single-game career highs. Durham's massive role expansion -- he logged 67 snaps (93 percent) overall, the most of any non-QB skill-position player -- will naturally be a one-game outlier if Otton is able to recover in time for a Week 17 home matchup against the Panthers on Sunday.
-
Juwan Johnson TE | NO
Saints' Juwan Johnson: Two catches in lopsided loss
Johnson brought in both targets for 27 yards in the Saints' 34-0 loss to the Packers on Monday night.
Johnson tied fellow tight end Foster Moreau and Dante Pettis for the team lead in receptions on a night where Spencer Rattler recorded only 15 completions. Johnson has hit the 50-yard mark only once all season, leaving him with little upside irrespective of which quarterback is under center for a Week 17 home matchup against the Raiders.
-
Foster Moreau TE | HOU
Saints' Foster Moreau: Team-high yardage total in loss
Moreau secured two of three targets for 33 yards in the Saints' 34-0 loss to the Packers on Monday night.
Moreau's yardage total was a team-high figure on a night where Spencer Rattler threw for only 153 yards. Moreau also tied fellow tight end Juwan Johnson and Dante Pettis for the team lead in receptions, and he'll carry a five-game streak of multiple catches into a Week 17 home matchup against his old Raiders squad.
