Kansas City signed Tonyan to their practice squad Monday.

After bouncing between Minnesota's practice squad and active roster this season, Tonyan was eventually cut from the practice squad in late November. Now, he'll be a part of the Chiefs' practice squad with the option of being bumped up to the team's roster should they need him. The veteran tight end has yet to record a catch this season.

Seattle estimated Fant (knee) as a limited practice participant Monday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

The Seahawks didn't actually practice Monday, so Fant's status was an estimation of his level of participation had a practice been held. The veteran tight end dealt with a knee injury last week as well, so he's likely still working through the same issue. Fant was able to suit up Sunday versus Minnesota and logged 75 percent of Seattle's offensive snaps, and unless he's had a setback it's likely that he'll be able to take the field this Thursday against Chicago.

The Packers activated Musgrave (ankle) off injured reserve Monday.

Musgrave had been on IR since Oct. 11 due to an ankle injury. He was designated to return Dec. 11 but didn't play last Sunday against Seattle. However, Musgrave logged a trio of limited practices this week and now appears set to return to action Monday. Tucker Kraft likely will continue working as Green Bay's top tight end, though once Musgrave has ramped up enough, he could eat into Kraft's opportunities.

Gray secured his only target for 10 yards during Saturday's 27-19 win over the Texans.

Gray saw his lowest target total since Week 9 during Saturday's game, which featured the long-awaited regular-season debut of Hollywood Brown in a Chiefs uniform. Gray remained around his usual snap share, playing 50 percent of offensive snaps behind starter Travis Kelce. Gray should remain on the fantasy radar in leagues that start multiple tight ends heading into Wednesday's road matchup against Pittsburgh.

Musgrave (ankle) is in line to be activated from IR and suit up for Monday's game against the Saints, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Musgrave is officially listed as questionable for Monday Night Football and currently remains on IR, but Green Bay is expected to activate him prior to the 4:00 p.m. ET deadline. The second-year tight end figures to be worked back into action in his return to the field from ankle surgery undergone due to an injury sustained Week 4, especially with Tucker Kraft still available atop the depth chart.

Hooper caught four of his five targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Bills.

Hooper logged 50 of a possible 73 snaps on offense in the contest, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, while fellow tight end Hunter Henry was on the field for 61 snaps and caught four of his nine targets for 39 yards and a TD. Though Hooper remains in a timeshare with Henry, his steady involvement in the Patriots passing game makes him an option in deeper/TE-friendly formats.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Njoku will have an MRI to diagnose the severity of a knee injury he sustained during Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Bengals, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Stefanski declined to rule out Njoku for the Browns' upcoming home game against the Dolphins in Week 17, but if he's dealing with anything resembling a significant knee injury, the team could opt to take a cautious approach to his recovery. With a 3-12 record at the bottom of the AFC North, Cleveland's playoff hopes have long ended, and it's unclear whether Dorian Thompson-Robinson (calf) or Jameis Winston (shoulder) will be available this coming Sunday. Jordan Akins will figure to start at tight end if Njoku misses any further time.

Parkinson failed to secure his lone target during Sunday's 19-9 victory against the Jets.

With the return of Tyler Higbee (knee) to the lineup, the quartet of tight ends on the Rams' roster shared the field for nearly equal amounts, with the group combining for just three targets and a single catch by Higbee for 11 yards and a touchdown. With the Rams running their offense through Kyren Williams and Puka Nacua for the most part, no tight end on the Rams will be easy to trust in fantasy lineups as the Rams take on division rival Arizona in Week 17.

Yeboah didn't catch his lone target in Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Rams.

Yeboah worked as the No. 3 tight end behind Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert, as Conklin returned from a one-game absence due to a personal matter. Yeboah has only three catches all season, though one of them went for his first NFL touchdown.

Ruckert caught both of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Rams.

Ruckert returned to a backup role with Tyler Conklin (personal) back from a one-game absence, but Ruckert had only one catch while Conklin was sidelined in Week 15 against the Jaguars. The 2022 third-round draft pick has shown limited upside as a pass catcher, as Ruckert has yet to score a touchdown in his career.
