  • JJ Galbreath TE | PIT

    J.J. Galbreath: Cut by Pittsburgh

The Steelers waived Galbreath on Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Galbreath appeared in all three of the Steelers' preseason games and finished with three catches (on five targets) for 23 yards. He wasn't able to make Pittsburgh's 53-man roster, but if he clears waivers, the undrafted rookie out of South Dakota could remain with the team as a member of the practice squad.

  • Oscar Cardenas TE | ARI

    Oscar Cardenas: Waived by Arizona

The Cardinals waived Cardenas on Monday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Cardenas did not log a target across the Cardinals' three preseason games. The undrafted rookie will have the opportunity to explore his next options if he clears waivers, though he could remain in Arizona as a member of the team's practice squad.

  • Baylor Cupp TE | BAL

Baylor Cupp: Let go by Baltimore

Cupp was waived by the Ravens on Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Cupp signed with the Ravens in early August after being let go by Kansas City, recording two catches for 13 catches while appearing in one game during the preseason. If the tight end clear waivers, there's a good chance he sticks around Baltimore as a member of the team's practice squad.

  • Dominique Dafney: Let go by Panthers

The Panthers waived Dafney on Monday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Dafney appeared in all three of the Panthers' preseason games, logging three catches (on four targets) for 32 yards. He won't be part of the Panthers' 53-man roster, but if he clears waivers he could remain in Carolina as part of the practice squad. Dafney last saw regular-season action in 2021 with the Packers, when he played in 10 games and caught two passes (on four targets) for 34 yards.

  • Mark Andrews TE | BAL

Ravens' Mark Andrews: Misses practice Monday

Andrews (undisclosed) missed practice Monday, Clifton Brown of the Ravens' official site reports.

While coach John Harbaugh didn't specify why Andrews was sidelined Monday, he noted that the tight end is expected to work next week, when the Ravens begin their practice preparations ahead of Week 1. With that in mind, Andrews' status now is worth monitoring, along with that of fellow TE Isaiah Likely, who continues to deal with a foot injury that leaves his status for the regular-season opener uncertain.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Dolphins' Darren Waller: Ramping up activity level

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Monday that Waller "has continued his progression" and will be increasing his activity level at practice this week, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.

Waller spent most of training camp on the active/PUP list for conditioning reasons before being cleared to practice Aug. 20, and he's now continuing to ramp up his participation with the regular-season opener against Indianapolis less than two weeks away. He's expected to open the year as the Dolphins' top receiving tight end, a role that will be increasingly valuable if Tyreek Hill (oblique) is limited at all by the time Week 1 kicks off.

  • Tyler Neville TE | DAL

    Tyler Neville: Dumped by Dallas

The Cowboys waived Neville on Monday, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Neville appeared in all three preseason contests this summer and caught three passes for 11 yards across 48 offensive snaps. The undrafted rookie out of Virginia will try to latch on with a practice squad.

  • John Stephens: Cut by Dallas

The Cowboys waived Stephens on Monday, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Stephens appeared in just one preseason game this summer, catching three passes for 26 yards on 14 offensive snaps. Undrafted out of Louisiana last year, Stephens ended up tearing his ACL in practice last October. He'll look for an opportunity elsewhere.

  • Nick Muse TE | LAR

    Nick Muse: Cut by Philadelphia

The Eagles waived Muse on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

A seventh-round pick by the Vikings in 2022, Muse signed with Philly's practice squad during the playoffs last season. He's appeared in 16 career regular-season contests, all with Minnesota, catching one pass for 22 yards.

  • E.J. Jenkins TE | PHI

    E.J. Jenkins: Cut by Philly

The Eagles waived Jenkins on Monday, Andrew DiCecco of InsideTheBirds.com reports.

Jenkins appeared in eight regular-season games for the Eagles last season, catching one pass for a seven-yard touchdown. He could be a candidate for the practice squad if Jenkins goes unclaimed.
