Saubert played one offensive snap and failed to see a single target in Monday's 19-16 overtime loss to the Chargers.

After leading all tight ends in snaps in the past two games, Saubert took a major backseat to rookie Greg Dulcich in his debut. The veteran practiced in a limited fashion due to an ankle injury but was active for the game. His lack of involvement could be related to the injury, but it appears the coaching staff is confident in Dulcich, who impressed as the team's new No. 1 tight end. It's likely that Saubert's involvement in the offense will decrease and he'll be relegated to a depth role going forward. The 28-year-old should remain off the fantasy radar when the Broncos host the Jets in Week 7.

Dulcich caught two of three targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 19-16 overtime loss to the Chargers.

Dulcich operated as Denver's No. 1 tight end and was the only Broncos player to hit paydirt Monday night. The rookie was targeted in the end zone as well but was unable to reel in the contested catch. The fact that Russell Wilson (hamstring) was willing to look Dulcich's way in his first game as a rookie was a promising sign for his potential moving forward. The UCLA product impressed in camp before suffering a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the first five games of the season. Dulcich's 41 offensive snaps led the team at tight end, with fellow tight ends Andrew Beck and Eric Tomlinson playing a distant 16 snaps each. Eric Saubert played just one offensive snap, while Albert Okwuegbunam was inactive for the game. This cleared the path for Dulcich to step into what appears to be the lead TE role in the offense. With the offense struggling and Wilson now dealing with a hamstring injury, the Broncos could use the additional spark from the 6-foot-4, 245-pound playmaker who has the ability to stretch the field in the passing game. Dulcich will look to improve upon his performance in Week 7 when the Broncos host the Jets.

Hurst secured all three of his targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 30-26 win over the Saints.

Hurst was unable to find the end zone against the Saints, snapping a two-game scoring streak. As is the case with many tight ends in the fantasy landscape, the veteran likely let down fantasy managers hoping he could provide some stability at the position. Hurst's three targets were the second-lowest of any Bengals' pass catcher in the contest. The 6-foot-4, 250-pounder's touchdown-dependent nature will make him difficult to trust in a Week 7 matchup with the Falcons.

The Broncos cut Keene from their practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Keene's stint with Denver's practice squad lasted all but three days, as he was signed Saturday and let go Tuesday. The 251-pounder has six games under his belt with the Patriots in 2020, where he caught three passes for 16 yards in that span. Keene will now look elsewhere to rejuvenate his NFL career.

The Giants signed Cager to their practice squad Tuesday, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.

Cager is slated to join the other New York team, after he was let go by the Jets on Saturday. In his only action in 2022, the 6-foot-5, 220-pound tight end started the season opener against the Ravens but failed to catch his lone target. Cager will now serve as an emergency depth option for the Giants' tight end group.

The Giants cut Allen from their practice squad Tuesday, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.

After Allen had spent the first six weeks of the NFL season on the Giants' practice squad, the team parted ways with the 23-year-old on Tuesday. The rookie tight end out of Nebraska will now search for another opportunity to make his professional debut.

The Ravens designated Kolar (sports hernia) to return from its injured reserve list Tuesday, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.

Once Kolar returns to practice, Baltimore will have a 21-day window to activate him before it would have to place him back on its injured reserve list for the season. When the 2022 fourth-rounder is ready to play, he'll likely serve as added depth for the team's tight end group but could find himself in the mix for rotational snaps along with Isaiah Likely, behind usual starter Mark Andrews.

Chargers head coach Brandon Staley said Tuesday that Parham is in concussion protocols, Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Parham caught all three of his targets for 53 yards during Monday's overtime win, but he immediately took his helmet off and went to the sideline after his third and final catch, which is presumably when he suffered the concussion. His status for Week 7 remains unclear, but he'll likely have to log at least one full practice if he's going to suit up Sunday against the Seahawks.

Trautman (ankle) isn't taking part in Tuesday's practice and is expected to be listed as a non-participant on the Saints' second official Week 7 injury report, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

Trautman's absence from practice comes as little surprise after he departed Sunday's loss to the Bengals with a left ankle injury that will most likely keep him sidelined Thursday night, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com. Unless Trautman shows significant improvement and gets back on the field in some capacity Wednesday to put himself in position to play this week, Juwan Johnson should have a clear path to a big snap share at tight end.

Pruitt was signed to the Falcons' active roster Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Pruitt signed with Atlanta's practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster in August. However, the veteran tight end has been elevated for each of the team's last two contests, catching his only target for a two-yard touchdown in Week 6 against the 49ers.
