  • Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Officially placed on IR

The Patriots placed Jennings (concussion) on injured reserve Saturday.

As expected, Jennings will go on injured reserve due to a concussion, and with just four games left in the regular season, he won't be eligible to play for the Patriots until the postseason. D'Ernest Johnson was signed off the practice squad to New England's active roster in a corresponding move, and he'll serve as the team's RB3 behind TreVeyon Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson to close out the regular season.

  • Ty Chandler RB | NO

Vikings' Ty Chandler: Won't play Sunday

Chandler (knee) was ruled out Saturday for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Chandler has been sidelined since Week 1 while dealing with a knee injury, and he was designated to return from IR on Dec. 3. The 27-year-old was a full participant during practice this week, but he'll remain out for at least one more game. Chandler will have to be restored to the active roster by Dec. 24, or else he'll revert to IR for the remainder of the season. His next opportunity to play will be the Week 16 contest versus the Giants on Sunday, Dec. 21.

  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Now questionable for Week 15

McCaffrey has been added to the 49ers' injury report due to a back injury, and he is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

McCaffrey was able to shake off an illness during Week 15 prep, but the veteran running back appears to be working through a new back issue. The injury puts McCaffrey in jeopardy of missing Sunday's game, and his official status may not be known until the 49ers announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. If McCaffrey is unable to play, then Brian Robinson would likely take over as the 49ers' lead back while Isaac Guerendo and Jordan James provide backfield depth.

  • Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Dealing with another injury

Lloyd, who was already dealing with a calf issue, sustained a hamstring injury in practice leading up to Sunday's matchup against the Broncos, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Lloyd didn't practice Friday after picking up this hamstring injury and has already been ruled out for the Week 15 contest. He has one week remaining to be activated to the Packers' active roster before reverting to injured reserve for the remainder of the season, leaving his availability for the rest of the year in doubt. Lloyd, a 2024 third-round pick from USC, has played in just one game since entering the league due to a variety of injury problems. While he remains sidelined Sunday, Chris Brooks and Pierre Strong are the only running backs on Green Bay's active roster without an injury designation.

  • Packers' Pierre Strong: Joins active roster

Strong was elevated from the Packers' practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

With Josh Jacobs (knee, questionable) and Emanuel Wilson (illness, questionable) both on the Packers' injury report, Strong's elevation provides much-needed depth at running back. If Jacobs or Wilson were to miss Sunday's matchup against the Broncos, Strong would likely play a depth role in Green Bay's backfield.

  • Emanuel Wilson RB | SEA

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Questionable due to illness

Wilson was added to the Packers' injury report Saturday due to an illness, and he is now listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

The illness is a new issue for Wilson, as he wasn't listed on the Packers' injury report during Week 15 prep. He has served as the Packers' primary backup running back for Josh Jacobs this season, and the latter is working through increased swelling in his knee that also has him in jeopardy of missing Sunday's contest. The Packers reinforced their backfield depth Saturday by elevating Pierre Strong from the practice squad, and if one or both of Jacobs and Wilson were to be sidelined for Week 15, then Strong and Chris Brooks would be in line for increased roles on offense against Denver.

  • De'Von Achane RB | MIA

Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Expected to play Monday

Head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters Saturday that he expects Achane (ribs) to play against the Steelers on Monday, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.

Achane was a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday while donning a red non-contact jersey in both sessions. Per Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post, Achane is testing out different forms of equipment to protect his ribs, and while Saturday's injury report has yet to come out, the expectation is that the third-year running back suits up for Monday night's game. If Achane is unable to play or operates on a snap count, then Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon would be in line for expanded roles out of the backfield.

  • Patriots' Terrell Jennings: To be placed on injured reserve

The Patriots are set to place Jennings (concussion) on injured reserve, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Jennings entered the league's concussion protocol following the Patriots' Week 13 win over the Giants. Even with the Week 14 bye, Jennings wasn't cleared to return to practice this past week before being ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills. His concussion is severe enough for him to warrant a multi-game absence, and with just four regular-season games left, Jennings won't be eligible to return until the playoffs, as the Patriots are nearly a lock to get in. D'Ernest Johnson was elevated from the practice squad Friday, and Rapoport relays that the veteran running back will be signed to the active roster in Jennings' absence.

  • Texans' Dare Ogunbowale: Will have normal role Week 15

Ogunbowale is expected to be a depth option Sunday, as Woody Marks, who opened the week with a knee injury, carries no injury designation ahead of the Week 15 matchup against the Cardinals.

The week started with both Marks and Nick Chubb (ribs) as non-participants in Wednesday's practice, opening a window slightly for Ogunbowale. Since then, Marks logged a limited practice Thursday and was a full participant Friday. Chubb sat out Thursday and got on the field Friday for a limited session, which included stretching on the side and working with the training staff. Ogunbowale could steal snaps from Chubb, but it looks like Marks should be a workhorse against Arizona.

  • Raiders' Raheem Mostert: Limited but good to go

Mostert (knee) was a limited participant in Friday's practice but holds no injury designation for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Mostert appeared on Thursday's injury report with a knee injury and was able to upgrade to a limited participant in Friday's practice. The limited participation the running back engaged in seems to have been deemed thorough enough that he will play in Sunday's game. Mostert has 21 rush attempts for 98 yards through 10 games this season and will likely account for his normal relief volume behind Ashton Jeanty in Sunday's contest.
