Seahawks' Emanuel Wilson: Two touches in Seahawks debut
Wilson rushed twice for three yards and wasn't targeted in Wednesday's 13-10 win over the Patriots.
Wilson worked as a distant third option in Seattle's backfield behind Jadarian Price (58 yards on 12 touches) and George Holani (29 yards on eight touches). As long as Price and Holani are healthy, Wilson is unlikely to get meaningful playing time, and Seattle's backfield could get even more crowded once Zach Charbonnet (knee) comes off the PUP list.

Seahawks' Emanuel Wilson: Full practice Sunday
Wilson (hamstring) practiced fully Sunday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Wilson has been a distant third on the RB depth chart behind first-round rookie Jadarian Price and George Holani since the offseason program, and a hamstring injury that was first reported after preseason Week 1 didn't allow Wilson to make any headway for backfield reps to begin the campaign. Now that his health isn't a question, it remains to be seen if Wilson will be a part of the running game during Wednesday's Week 1 matchup with the Patriots.

Seahawks' Emanuel Wilson: Sidelined by short-term hamstring injury
Wilson (hamstring) sat out Saturday's preseason opener against the Cowboys, Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Wilson is managing what is believed to be a short-term hamstring injury. Both Wilson and Jadarian Price (lower body) are expected to be available for the start of the regular season, which may not be the case for Zach Charbonnet (knee). Even if Charbonnet isn't ready to begin the season, Wilson appears likely to cede the majority of backfield opportunities to George Holani and Price. Wilson's next chance to see preseason action will be Sunday, Aug. 23 at Tennessee.

Seahawks' Emanuel Wilson: Mostly working with third-stringers
Wilson has been getting most of his reps with the third-string offense at OTAs, according to Gregg Bell of The News Tribune.
Wilson did a solid job filling in for an injured Josh Jacobs in Green Bay last season, so it's no surprise there was fantasy interest after Wilson signed with the RB-needy Seahawks in March on a reported one-year, $2.1 million contract. His fantasy stock has since taken a hit, in large part because the Seahawks drafted RB Jadarian Price at No. 32 overall in April. It also doesn't help that Wilson's contract is closer to $1.6 million in base value, not $2.1 million, and with only $300,000 guaranteed at signing. He may still be part of the plan to help replace Kenneth Walker (Chiefs) and Zach Charbonnet (torn ACL), but early reports out of Seattle have George Holani getting most of the first-team reps while Price mixes in some. Wilson seems to be exclusively working with the backups, at least during the media-access portions of practice.

Seahawks' Emanuel Wilson: First-round RB added by Seattle
Wilson will face increased competition for touches after the Seahawks drafted Jadarian Price 32nd overall Thursday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
All three of Wilson, Price and George Holani could play sizable roles early in the season while Zach Charbonnet works his way back from a torn ACL. The Seahawks signed Wilson and drafted Price after losing running back Kenneth Walker in free agency. Price is untested in a workhorse role, having backed up Jeremiyah Love at Notre Dame, so Seattle's likely to spread out the backfield workload between multiple options despite investing significant draft capital into Price.
