  • Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Remains sidelined

McKinnon (groin) was not spotted at practice Saturday, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.

McKinnon has now failed to practice in any capacity during the week, casting significant doubt on his availability for Monday's game against the Raiders. That lines Isiah Pacheco up for a significant workload in his return from a two-game absence, with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (personal) next in line.

  • Zack Moss RB | CIN

Colts' Zack Moss: Won't play Sunday

Moss (forearm) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Moss, who injured his right forearm during last Saturday's win over the Steelers, was deemed questionable for the contest after not practicing this past week, and now that he's been ruled out, he'll target a potential return to action Dec. 31 against the Raiders. While Moss will be sidelined Sunday, the Colts will welcome Jonathan Taylor (thumb) back from a three-game absence. Barring any in-game limitations or setbacks, Taylor should reclaim a leading role out of the backfield, with Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson serving as the depth options behind him.

  • 49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Sits out Friday's practice

Mitchell (knee) didn't participate in Friday's practice, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Mitchell has now missed both of the 49ers' first two Week 16 practices, putting him at risk of missing a third straight game Monday versus the Ravens. If Mitchell isn't able to play against Baltimore, Jordan Mason would remain in the No. 2 role behind lead back Christian McCaffrey.

  • Nick Bawden RB | HOU

Nick Bawden: Back to New York on practice squad

The Jets signed Bawden to their practice squad Friday, Billy Riccette of USA Today reports.

Bawden was waived by the Jets on Wednesday to open a spot on the roster for Aaron Rodgers (Achilles). With no listed fullback on the Jets' active roster, Bawden has a good chance of being elevated for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

  • Rico Dowdle RB | PIT

Cowboys' Rico Dowdle: Cleared for Week 16

Dowdle (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Bobby Belt of 105.3 The Fan Dallas reports.

Dowdle has been listed on the injury report for six weeks without ever missing a game. He'll again work off the bench as the Cowboys' No. 2 back behind Tony Pollard.

  • Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Lead role awaits Week 16

Elliott is expected to remain the Patriots' lead back for Sunday's game in Denver, with Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) ruled out for a third consecutive contest.

In his previous two turns as New England's starting running back in a Week 14 win over Pittsburgh and a Week 15 loss to Kansas City, Elliott carried 33 times for 93 yards (2.8 average) and hauled in 12 of 14 targets for 93 yards and a touchdown. The game script will likely dictate the extent of Elliott's role on the ground, but his standing as the team's top passing-down back while Stevenson is out of the lineup should give Elliott a decent floor if the Patriots fall behind early in the game and are forced to abandon the run. Considering Stevenson didn't practice in any fashion this week, he could face an uphill battle to make it back for New England's Week 17 matchup with Buffalo.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Expected to play

Coach Pete Carroll said Friday that Walker (shoulder) will play in Sunday's game against the Titans even though he's officially listed as questionable, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Carroll apparently liked what he saw during Friday's practice, which marked Walker's first participation of the week. The running back's absences Wednesday and Thursday don't seem too concerning, especially given the quick turnaround after a Monday win over the Eagles in which Walker took 22 touches for 112 yards and a TD. Cautious fantasy managers may nonetheless want to track the situation ahead of a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday to make sure Walker is indeed active against a Titans defense that has five starters and two key backups ruled out this week.

  • Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Will miss another game

Stevenson (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Stevenson didn't practice at all this week and is thus slated to miss his third straight game Sunday. In his continued absence, Ezekiel Elliott will once again serve as New England's lead back. Stevenson's next chance to suit up will come Dec. 31 against the Bills in Week 17.

  • Emanuel Wilson RB | SEA

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Doubtful for Sunday

Wilson (shoulder) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's game against the Panthers.

The 24-year-old running back returned to practice this week after a shoulder injury landed him on injured reserve in Week 11, but it seems as if he's unlikely to suit up Sunday. Wilson would need to be activated to the Packers' active roster in order to suit up in Week 16, and assuming he doesn't play Sunday, Kenyan Drake could see increased opportunities in the team's RB room.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Limited in Friday's practice

Jacobs (quadricep/illness) was a limited participant in practice Friday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.

On a positive note, Jacobs was able to practice in some fashion Friday after sitting out Thursday's session and missing the Raiders' 63-21 win over the Chargers in Week 15. However, the running back is now dealing with an illness in addition to the quad injury, which further clouds his availability for Monday's game against the Chiefs. Interim head coach Antonio Pierce said earlier in the week that he believes Jacobs will most likely be ready to go Monday, but Saturday's injury report will provide a more concrete estimation of the running back's chances of playing.
