  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Scores first rushing TD this season

McCaffrey took 17 carries for 54 yards and a touchdown while hauling in seven of eight targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 30-19 loss to the Buccaneers.

McCaffrey scored his first regular-season touchdown since the 2023 campaign after being held out of the end zone as a runner over his previous five starts this year and all four healthy appearances in 2024. The dual-threat superstar has been in the doldrums as a pure rusher this season (3.1 YPC), but he has offset that with WR1 production as a receiver (46-444-3). In fact, CMC has finished with more receiving yards than rushing yards in five of his six starts this year, highlighting a peculiar start to his game logs. Fantasy managers could care less how their workhorse gets his numbers so long as the overall production is elite, as it has been all season. McCaffrey will likely be asked to continue shouldering the load for the 49ers' offense against the Falcons on Sunday Night Football in Week 7.

  • Raiders' Ashton Jeanty: Heavy involvement in win

Jeanty rushed 23 times for 75 yards and a touchdown while bringing in two of four targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 20-10 victory over the Titans.

Jeanty ground out a solid fantasy day by scoring his third rushing touchdown of the year on a season-high 23 carries. Veteran backup Raheem Mostert (five carries) was the only other rusher to record a touch in the win, highlighting Jeanty's stranglehold on the every-down role out of Las Vegas' backfield. The sixth overall pick from this year's draft has generated 497 combined yards from scrimmage with five total touchdowns through six starts in 2025. Jeanty's offensive involvement has increased with an average of 22.3 touches over the Raiders' last three contests. Fantasy managers can start the Boise State product with confidence for next Sunday's road tilt against the Chiefs.

  • Dylan Laube RB | LV

Raiders' Dylan Laube: Questionable to return

Laube (hamstring) is questionable to return to Las Vegas' matchup versus the Titans on Sunday.

Laube left the field during the second half, and the severity of his injury is currently unclear. With Zamir White (coach's decision) inactive, Ashton Jeanty and Raheem Mostert would be the only healthy running backs on the team if Laube is unable to return.

  • Zonovan Knight RB | ARI

Cardinals' Bam Knight: Gets into end zone Sunday

Knight rushed 11 times for 34 yards and a touchdown and brought in one of two targets for 20 yards in the Cardinals' 31-27 loss to the Colts on Sunday.

Knight went into the game set for lead-back duties, but he outpaced backfield mate Michael Carter by only two carries when all was said and done. Knight did record a one-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter and had a nice gain on his one reception, but it's likely the two backs continue in a close timeshare during a Week 7 home matchup against a talented Packers defense.

  • Michael Carter RB | ARI

Cardinals' Michael Carter: Solid in complementary role Sunday

Carter rushed nine times for 34 yards and brought in two of five targets for 30 yards in the Cardinals' 31-27 loss to the Colts on Sunday.

Prior to the game, it was announced that Bam Knight would serve in the lead-back role, theoretically relegating Carter to complementary duties. However, Carter ended up lagging just two carries behind Knight while equaling his teammate's rushing yardage, and he provided a nice chunk play as a receiver with a 16-yard catch. Although Knight did score a short rushing touchdown, the gap between the two players doesn't seem to be much heading into a Week 7 home matchup against the Packers next Sunday afternoon.

  • Travis Etienne RB | JAC

Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Stymied in Week 6 loss

Etienne rushed 12 times for 27 yards and brought in four of five targets for 28 yards in the Jaguars' 20-12 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.

Etienne was absolutely stonewalled on the ground by a talented Seahawks front seven, although he was able to partly atone for the shortfall with a solid day through the air that saw him post new season highs in receptions, receiving yards and targets. The fifth-year back now has back-to-back 12-carry tallies after opening the season with at least 14 rush attempts in each of the first four games, but he remains the Jaguars' unquestioned No. 1 back and next faces a Rams defense that was gashed by the Ravens' Derrick Henry in Week 6.

  • Hassan Haskins RB | LAC

Chargers' Hassan Haskins: Hardly used despite workload bump

Haskins carried the ball six times for 14 yards and caught his only target for nine yards in Sunday's 29-27 win over the Dolphins.

Haskins was supposed to be part of a committee with Kimani Vidal replacing the injured Omarion Hampton (IR, ankle), but Vidal quickly proved to be the far more explosive back and ran away with the workload in the second half, finishing with 124 rushing yards and 14 receiving yards plus a touchdown. That's about as definitive of a difference as one could envision and likely means Haskins, who has primarily been a special-teams player during his time with the Chargers, could get squeezed out of platoon work after Vidal's amazing efforts. It's worth noting Miami's run defense is one of the worst in the league, and the Chargers could lean on the bruising Michigan product in short-yardage situations in future weeks.

  • Derrick Henry RB | BAL

Ravens' Derrick Henry: Gets back on track

Henry rushed the ball 24 times for 122 yards in Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Rams. He added one reception on two targets for eight yards.

The Ravens' offensive game plan was to feed Henry as much as possible, limiting the need for Cooper Rush to take to the air. That was effective in the first half, as Henry delivered 18 carries for 90 yards while Baltimore also controlled time of possession. Game script ultimately got away from the team, but this was a needed performance from Henry, both in terms of volume and efficiency. He recorded three rushes of more than 10 yards to top 50 yards for the first time since Week 1. Henry's 25 touches were also his most of the campaign, and he should benefit from the expected return of Lamar Jackson (hamstring) in Week 8, following the team's bye.

  • De'Von Achane RB | MIA

Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Breaks out as runner in loss

Achane rushed 16 times for 128 yards and two touchdowns while bringing in four of six targets for 22 yards in the Dolphins' 29-27 loss to the Chargers on Sunday.

Achane had been uncharacteristically bottled up by the Panthers in Week 5, but the electric back set an early tone Sunday with a 49-yard breakaway touchdown run with just over four minutes remaining in the first quarter. He'd go on to add a four-yard scoring scamper with just under eight minutes left in the contest, a score that narrowed a 26-13 deficit. Achane eclipsed the century mark for the first time this season with Sunday's production, and his carry total was his second highest through the first six contests. The third-year back should play a key role again during a Week 7 road clash against the tough Browns defense.

  • Rico Dowdle RB | CAR

Panthers' Rico Dowdle: Massive workload, yardage Sunday

Dowdle rushed 30 times for 183 yards and brought in four of five targets for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 30-27 win over the Cowboys on Sunday. He also fumbled once but recovered.

One week after delivering a career-best 206-yard effort against the Dolphins, Dowdle was blessed with a second straight matchup against a porous defense. In Week 6, that unit happened to be comprised of plenty of his former Cowboys teammates, and Dowdle parlayed the additional incentive into another spectacular afternoon. While he came just short of hitting the 200-yard mark on the ground for the second straight contest, the surging veteran was able to shine as a pass catcher while compiling a team-high receiving yardage total and scoring his first receiving TD of the season on a 36-yard grab to close out the opening possession of the second half. Given Dowdle's production over the last two games, it appears highly unlikely Chuba Hubbard (calf) will be able to reclaim anything close to the snap share he previously enjoyed as the No. 1 back, and the latter doesn't appear likely to be available for a Week 7 road matchup against the Jets next Sunday anyhow.
