  • Samaje Perine RB | CIN

Bengals' Samaje Perine: Sits out another practice

Perine (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Perine appears to be trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's contest against the Steelers due to a high-ankle sprain, though he hasn't been officially ruled out yet. If Perine is indeed ruled out for Sunday's contest, rookie Tahj Brooks will benefit from an opportunity to handle increased work behind Chase Brown.

  • J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN

Broncos' J.K. Dobbins: Another DNP on Thursday

Dobbins (foot) didn't practice Thursday, Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports reports.

Dobbins has been a non-participant in Denver's first two practices of Week 11 preparations, and he's unlikely to suit up Sunday against the Chiefs considering Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reported Tuesday that Dobbins could be in line for a multi-week absence. If Dobbins is indeed ruled out on Friday's injury report, that would pave the way for rookie second-round pick RJ Harvey to take over as Denver's lead back while Tyler Badie and Jaleel McLaughlin play complementary roles.

  • Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: Doesn't practice Thursday

Pacheco (knee) remained a non-participant at practice Thursday.

Pacheco is still hampered by the knee injury that kept him out of action in Week 9 against the Bills. Kansas City was previously optimistic that a Week 10 bye would provide sufficient time for Pacheco to heal, but he's trending toward remaining sidelined Sunday against the Broncos, in which case Kareem Hunt would likely retain the lead role in Kansas City's backfield. Pacheco would probably need to practice in some capacity Friday to have any chance of playing Sunday.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Limited again Thursday

Jones (shoulder/toe) was a limited participant in practice Thursday.

Jones has now logged back-to-back limited practices to begin Week 11 preparations as he continues to nurse a toe injury and an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder. He played through both injuries Week 10 against the Ravens, carrying the ball nine times for 47 yards and a score while securing three of six targets for 22 yards, so as long as he's able to practice on at least a limited basis again Friday, it seems Jones has solid odds of being cleared for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Bears.

  • Patriots' D'Ernest Johnson: Elevated for TNF

The Patriots elevated Johnson from their practice squad ahead of Thursday night's game against the Jets, Evan Lazar of the team's official site reports.

Per Lazar, this is Johnson's final elevation, so after Week 11 the running back would need to be signed to the Patriots' 53-man roster in order to suit up for game action. On Thursday, he'll provide the team with backfield depth behind TreVeyon Henderson and Terrell Jennings (knee), assuming the latter is active. Meanwhile, Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) is slated to miss his third straight contest.

  • Bucky Irving RB | TB

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Limited again Thursday

Irving (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Irving was also limited in Wednesday's walkthrough session. Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles has already stated that he doesn't expect Irving to suit up for Sunday's road matchup against the Bills, but it's nonetheless encouraging to see the second-year pro logging practice activity again. If Irving is indeed unable to play Sunday, he'll have a better chance of returning Week 12 versus the Rams. Rachaad White and Sean Tucker will continue to lead Tampa Bay's backfield until Irving's return.

  • Rico Dowdle RB | CAR

Panthers' Rico Dowdle: Officially limited Thursday

Dowdle (quadriceps) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Head coach Dave Canales said Carolina's goal is to manage Dowdle's workload and have him ready for Sunday's road matchup against the Falcons, per Darin Gantt of the team's official site. As such, fantasy managers can be confident Dowdle will be available Week 11, barring any setbacks at Friday's practice. During the Panthers' loss to the Saints in Week 10, Dowdle remained solidified as the team's top backfield option while rushing 18 times for 53 yards and one score. He also hauled in all three of his targets for 10 yards.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Practices in full

Swift (hip) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Swift was limited in practice Wednesday, but it's possible that the Bears were simply capping his reps as a precaution. The starting running back returned from a one-game absence due to a groin issue and racked up 98 yards from scrimmage on eight touches versus the Giants in Week 10. Even with the emergence of Kyle Monangai as a reliable backfield option, Swift remains Chicago's clear No. 1 running back and stands to handle a sizeable workload on the road against Minnesota on Sunday.

  • RJ Harvey RB | DEN

Broncos' RJ Harvey: Likely lead back with Dobbins hurt

Harvey is expected to step into a larger role while J.K. Dobbins recovers from a foot injury, Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports reports.

A concrete recovery timeline for Dobbins has yet to emerge, but Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reported Tuesday that Dobbins is a candidate for injured reserve, suggesting a high likelihood of a multi-week absence. If Dobbins is ultimately ruled out Sunday against the Chiefs, Harvey would likely take over the lead role in Denver's backfield, though Tyler Badie and Jaleel McLaughlin would probably rotate in as well.

  • Rico Dowdle RB | CAR

Panthers' Rico Dowdle: Warming up Thursday

Dowdle (quadriceps) was warming up prior to Wednesday's practice, Alex Zietlow of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Dowdle appears to be following a similar practice regimen to last week, when he followed Wednesday's DNP with a limited session Thursday and full showing Friday due to a quad issue. He continued to operate as the Panthers' lead runner this past Sunday against the Saints, turning 21 touches into 63 yards from scrimmage and one TD, while No. 2 RB Chuba Hubbard handled four touches for 15 total yards. Thursday's injury report will reveal Dowdle's activity level, or lack thereof.
