Ravens running back Bernard Pierce got through another practice session Friday, and seems all set to return from a concussion in Week 1 against the Bengals Sunday.
Pierce was cleared to return from a concussion earlier in the week, and made it through the week in practice without limitations. He is officially listed on the injury report for Week 1 as probable, and should get the start Sunday.

Andre Ellington sits out Friday's practice
Cardinals running back Andre Ellington was not a participant in practice on Friday, as he continues to rest his injured left foot, the team announced. He's in danger of missing Week 1 against Chargers because of the issue.
Ellington underwent an MRI on Thursday and is expected to visit a local foot specialist to examine the extent of the injury. The initial reports indicate that he's dealing with a muscular injury. The team is still waiting on the results of his exam. -

The Texans have a lengthy list of players on their injury report Friday heading into their Sunday opener against Washington.
Tight end Garrett Graham (back) and safety Shiloh Keo (calf) were the only two to miss practice on Friday. Both players were deemed Questionable.
The following players practiced in full on Friday and are ruled probable for Sunday: Cornerback A.J. Bouye (shoulder), tackle Tyson Clabo (ankle), linebacker Brian Cushing, defensive end Tim Jamison, cornerback Johnathan Joseph (foot), linebacker Mike Mohamed (quad), center Chris Meyers (toe), nose tackle Louis Nix (knee), fullback Jay Prosch (hand), guard Xavier Su'a-Filo (back), linebacker Justin Tuggle (knee). -

Ravens running back Bernard Pierce practiced again on Friday and was officially listed a probable for Week 1 against Cincinnati. Pierce suffered a concussion in a preseason game against the Redskins. Pierce is expected to be the starter while Ray Rice is sidelined serving a two-game suspension.

Cardinals bringing foot specialist to examine Andre Ellington
The Cardinals are bringing in a local foot specialist to examine running back Andre Ellington's foot after he underwent an MRI on Thursday, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Friday.
Ellington has been bothered by a foot injury for weeks and aggravated the injury on Thursday. He was not present at the open protion of practice on Friday. His status remains uncertain for Week 1 against San Diego on Monday night.

Initial reports indicate a muscle injury for Andre Ellington
Although the MRI results have yet to come in, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport suggests that Cardinals running back Andre Ellington's first prescription is rest. The initial prognosis is that Ellington is dealing with a muscular issue in his foot, per Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. He will not need surgery and remains hopeful of playing Monday night against the Chargers if the injury heals in time.
Ellington was plagued by the issue for weeks now, according to the report. He's also had foot issues in the past, especially at Clemson.
The Cardinals are expected to update his status after Friday's practice.
