  • Ray Davis RB | BUF

Bills' Ray Davis: Doesn't touch ball against Miami

Davis failed to record a touch on offense in Buffalo's 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.

After rushing nine times for 24 yards on 20 offensive snaps in the Bills' Week 2 win over the Jets, Davis logged just four snaps on offense against Miami. Davis is merely a bench stash in fantasy in the event James Cook ever goes down with an injury.

  • Ty Johnson RB | BUF

Bills' Ty Johnson: Totals 21 yards in TNF win

Johnson rushed three times for 13 yards and caught one pass for eight yards in Buffalo's win over Miami on Thursday night.

Johnson played 15 offensive snaps behind James Cook and has now amassed 51 total yards on eight touches through three games. He has minimal fantasy value.

  • Kene Nwangwu RB | NYJ

Jets' Kene Nwangwu: Ruled out for Week 3

Nwangwu (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bucs, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Nwangwu was injured in the Week 1 opener against the Steelers and will miss his second straight game. Isaiah Davis, Isaiah Williams and Arian Smith will likely handle returner duties in Nwangwu's absence.

  • Jaylen Wright RB | MIA

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: No snaps in Thursday night loss

Wright did not play any snaps during Thursday's 31-21 loss to the Bills.

Wright was cleared to make his regular-season debut Thursday, but he did not handle any snaps on either offense or special teams while De'Von Achane and Ollie Gordon led Miami's backfield. He'll work to get more involved and challenge Gordon for No. 2 opportunities versus the Jets in Week 4 on Monday, Sept. 29.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Scores first pro TD in loss

Gordon rushed nine times for 38 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.

The rookie sixth-round pick capped off the opening possession of the night with a two-yard touchdown run, his first NFL score. Gordon had logged only three total carries through the first two games, making his workload boost Thursday night particularly notable. Lead back De'Von Achane finished with just three more carries than Gordon, although the former was also targeted nine times. Given Gordon was productive with his opportunities against Buffalo, he could fill a solid complementary role once again in a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets on Monday night, Sept. 29.

  • De'Von Achane RB | MIA

Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Accrues 91 total yards in loss

Achane rushed 12 times for 62 yards and brought in seven of nine targets for 29 yards in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.

After being held to 2.7 yards per carry by the Patriots in Week 2, Achane bounced back with an efficient effort on the ground that included two double-digit-yardage runs. He also followed up an 8-92-1 receiving line against New England with another busy night as a receiver, albeit in much more of a short-area role. Achane also saw rookie backfield mate Ollie Gordon convert a red-zone carry into a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter and log just three fewer carries, so the division of labor between the two will be worth monitoring in a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets on Monday night, Sept. 29.

  • James Cook RB | BUF

Bills' James Cook: Eclipses 100 total yards in win

Cook rushed 19 times for 108 yards and a touchdown and brought in all three targets for 10 yards in the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.

Cook served as the ideal complement to the exploits of Josh Allen through the air (228 yards, three touchdowns). The star running back had a game-long run of 26 yards, so he was able to consistently find running room throughout the night. The 2022 second-round pick also recorded his fourth rushing touchdown of the season on a two-yard run to cap off the first drive of the second half, and he'll take a stellar figure of 5.4 yards per carry into a Week 4 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28.

  • Will Shipley RB | PHI

Eagles' Will Shipley: Back at practice

Shipley (oblique) was a limited participant at practice Thursday.

Shipley was unable to practice Wednesday due to an oblique injury, so his return to action Thursday is a positive sign. The running back will look to log a full practice Friday before the team faces the Rams on Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Still not practicing

Charbonnet (foot) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Charbonnet has been held out of drills so far this week due to a foot injury, so Friday's practice likely will be key for his odds to suit up Sunday against the Saints. If Charbonnet is limited or sidelined this weekend, Kenneth Walker would take on the bulk of the work afforded the Seahawks backfield, while George Holani is the only other RB on the active roster, while Damien Martinez and Jacardia Wright would be candidates to be elevated from the practice squad.

  • Keilan Robinson: Placed on practice-squad IR

The Jets placed Robinson (undisclosed) on the practice-squad injured list Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

A fifth-round pick by the Jaguars last year, Robinson spent this past summer with the Eagles but failed to make the 53-man roster out of camp. He rushed 27 times for 57 scoreless yards during the preseason. Robinson will be unavailable for a promotion for at least the next four games of the regular season.
