Cunningham received just 13 of 58 offensive snaps during Sunday's game against the Lions.

While he made the most of his opportunities (two rushes for nine yards and two receptions for 14 yards), the volume isn't there for Cunningham to be a viable fantasy asset. Todd Gurley caught all four of his targets for 39 yards, as he continues to be utilized more in the passing attack to Cunningham's detriment. At this point, it appears almost certain that it will take a Gurley injury for Cunningham to become fantasy relevant.

McFadden says he's ready to play after recovering from offseason elbow surgery, The Ft. Worth Star-Telegram reports. "Elbow is feeling great," McFadden said. "Just sitting back and waiting for my time to get back on the field. It's pretty much up to the coaches. I'm ready to go, so it's just based off their decision."

He's eligible to come off the NFI list this week, but with the Cowboys on bye in Week 7 they will be in no rush to try and find room for McFadden on the 53-man roster. Ezekiel Elliott's tremendous start means that the veteran would be a depth player at best anyway in Dallas, but with backfield injuries starting to pile up around the league, McFadden's best chance to see significant action this season might come via trade.

Drake did not see a target or record a carry in Sunday's win over the Steelers.

The Dolphins finally leaned on the run on Sunday, but Drake was on the outside looking in. Just three weeks ago, Drake saw a team-high 11 touches at running back against Cleveland and the third-round pick's stock appeared to be on the rise. He's only seen 15 snaps on offense in the three games since. Meanwhile, Jay Ajayi, on the heels of his 204-yard game, has risen firmly atop the depth chart with Arian Foster and Damien Williams positioned behind him.

Cunningham snatched two passes for 14 yards and carried the ball twice for nine yards in Sunday's loss to Detroit.

The running game was supposed to carry Los Angeles this season, with Cunningham serving a supplementary role behind last year's phenom, Todd Gurley. Instead, the Rams rank 31st in the league in yards per carry and 28th in yards per game. With less production from that side of the offense, there's less for Cunningham to do. He, in turn, is on pace for career lows in the rushing and receiving columns.

Ellington handled five carries for 25 yards during Monday's decisive win versus the Jets.

Ellington earned his first carries of the game in the midst of the Cardinals' first lengthy drive of the second half, but David Johnson otherwise handled all work out of the backfield until garbage time. As evidence, Johnson received 67 of the 77 offensive snaps, while Ellington picked up eight and Stepfan Taylor was given four. Such a breakdown won't equate to relevance anytime soon, but Ellington nonetheless appears to be the nominal backup to Johnson.

The Chiefs traded Davis to the Packers on Tuesday, Terez A. Paylor of The Kansas City Star reports.

The Packers were desperate to add depth at running back with Eddie Lacy sustaining an ankle injury in their Week 6 loss to the Cowboys and James Starks (knee) ruled out for the next four weeks, so the addition of Davis certainly fulfills a need. As the No. 4 running back in Kansas City, Davis had been a healthy inactive the last few weeks following the return of Jamaal Charles. That made him an expendable piece for the Chiefs, who will presumably receive a late-round pick in return for the running back. Given that the Packers have a quick turnaround with their next game coming Thursday against the Bears, it's unlikely that Davis will be a major part of the game plan while he's still learning his new team's playbook. As such, wideout Ty Montgomery could end up seeing some involvement out of the backfield as the de facto backup to Lacy, who is listed as questionable for Thursday.

Rainey had six carries for 13 yards and two catches for 16 more Sunday against the Ravens.

Rainey's getting work subbing in for Rashad Jennings and coming out of the backfield on passing downs. Rookie Paul Perkins looks quicker and more explosive than either veteran, but apparently his pass blocking is poor, giving Rainey a chance to continue in this role.

Taliaferro (foot) will return to practice this week, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Taliaferro landed on the Raven's regular-season PUP list to begin the year after missing the majority of the team's offseason program recovering from Lisfranc surgery. Now six weeks into the season, Taliaferro is eligible to resume practicing, but it's unclear when he could be ready for game action.

Henry rushed twice for seven yards and caught both of his targets for 20 more yards in Sunday's 28-26 win over the Browns.

Henry got just four touches while starter DeMarco Murray was once again much more heavily involved with 21 touches. The rookie opened the season getting roughly one-third of the work in the Titans' backfield but has seen his role diminish due to Murray's effectiveness. That change looks like it's permanent unless Murray slips up.

Williams (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's contest versus the Jets.

Williams has shuttled between the free-agent market and the Cardinals' practice squad and 53-man roster in the current campaign, but his first game action since Week 17 of last season awaits. Head coach Bruce Arians will instead roll with Andre Ellington and Stepfan Taylor behind workhorse running back David Johnson.
