Tion Green RB | DET
Lions' Tion Green: Inactive Monday
Green (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday night's game against the Giants.
Green is nothing more than the No. 5 tailback on the depth chart and will likely need multiple injuries to players ahead of him in order to be a regular member of the game-day roster.

Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Titans' Derrick Henry: Still viewed as backup
Titans coach Mike Mularkey said he still views DeMarco Murray (hamstring) as the clear starter and Henry as the clear backup, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone reports.
Henry made his case with a 14-92-1 rushing line in Sunday's 37-16 win over Jacksonville, taking advantage of Murray's absence in the second half after the veteran aggravated the hamstring injury that bothered him throughout August. Regardless of how Mularkey views the situation when everyone's healthy, Henry will be the favorite to lead the team in carries if Murray is absent or limited for a Week 3 matchup with the Seahawks. Given the presence of a capable backup and the fact the injury has lingered this long, the Titans may already be giving some thought to holding Murray out for a game or two.

Chris Johnson RB | ARI
Cardinals' Chris Johnson: May be named starting RB
Head coach Bruce Arians is unsure if he'll name Johnson the starting running back for Week 3 versus the Cowboys, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
In the first game without David Johnson (wrist), the elder Johnson received the third-most snaps among Cardinals running backs, handling 17 versus 30 for Andre Ellington and 18 for Kerwynn Williams. That said, Johnson was the most effective with his reps, as he doubled up Williams in terms of rushing yards (44 to 22) and seemed to find running lanes that Williams and Ellington could not. If Johnson is named the starter, his track record in the offense over two-plus seasons (59.6 yards per game and four touchdowns across 16 contests) makes him an interesting RB to consider.

Rob Kelley RB | NO
Redskins' Rob Kelley: Day-to-day with cartilage injury
Kelley is considered day-to-day with a rib cartilage injury, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
While Redskins coach Jay Gruden didn't expressly say so, the updated diagnosis suggests Kelley avoided a broken rib, which Gruden feared to be the case after Sunday's 27-20 win over the Rams. The second-year back still figures to be limited or absent when the Redskins release their first Week 3 injury report Wednesday, but he should at least have some chance to be ready for Sunday's game against the Raiders. If not, Samaje Perine will take over as the early-down thumper, with pass-catching back Chris Thompson also helping to pick up some of the slack. Kelley had 12 carries for 78 yards in Sunday's victory, while Perine replaced him in the second quarter and managed only 67 yards on a team-high 22 touches. Gruden said he expects Kelley will try to play through the injury, but he also acknowledged that the pain may be too great for the running back back to actually do so, JP Finlay of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Jalston Fowler FB | SEA
Titans' Jalston Fowler: Finds pay dirt in Week 2
Fowler scored a three-yard rushing touchdown on his only touch in Sunday's 37-16 win at Jacksonville.
Fowler possesses more skill than your typical fullback, but he rarely gets a chance to flash that ability. He'll get the occasional chance to punch it in near the goal line, but thumpers DeMarco Murray (hamstring) and Derrick Henry usually get priority over Fowler.

Cordarrelle Patterson RB | PIT
Raiders' Cordarrelle Patterson: Productive rusher in Week 2
Patterson racked up 57 yards and a touchdown on three carries to go along with one reception for six yards during Sunday's 45-20 victory over the Jets.
Patterson has just two receptions on as many targets for eight yards through his first two games of the season, but he's also been involved in the Raiders' rushing attack as he notched his first touchdown on a 43-yard run Sunday. He hasn't been given enough touches to earn much fantasy attention, however, with so much competition for production among receivers Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree along with a trio of running backs led by Marshawn Lynch. Patterson saw just seven less offensive snaps than No. 3 receiver Seth Roberts, though that may not have been the case if the game were closer down the stretch.

Branden Oliver RB | IND
Chargers' Branden Oliver: Leads Chargers in rushing
Oliver carried the ball three times for 31 yards in the 19-17 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Oliver's 26-yard scamper was actually the longest play for the Chargers offense as a whole as the Dolphins mainly kept it in check. The long run also doubled starter Melvin Gordon's total rushing yards on the day, as the 2015 first-round pick finished with just 13 yards on nine carries. Still, owners shouldn't read too much into the stat line, as it was clear from the get-go the Chargers were content moving the ball through the air. It's important to note Oliver remains the prime handcuff to Gordon considering third-stringer Austin Ekeler did not see a single snap on offense. That being said, handcuff is the only fantasy value Oliver has at this point, as he saw just seven offensive snaps compared to Gordon's 48.

Terrance West RB | BAL
Ravens' Terrance West: Dealing with soft-tissue injury
West is day-to-day with an unspecified soft-tissue injury, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.
After starting Sunday's 24-10 win over the Browns, West saw just 15 snaps, but now there's an explanation for his reduced Week 2 workload. We'll track his status as this coming Sunday's game against the Jaguars approaches, but if West is limited at all in Week 3, added opportunities await Javorius Allen and Alex Collins.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Can continue playing
The NFL's emergency motion seeking a stay of Elliott's preliminary injunction has been denied, Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com reports.
The league wanted a fast response and got its wish, albeit without the desired result. The NFL now has to wait for a ruling on its appeal of the injunction in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. The process could take a few months, which increases Elliott's chances of playing the entire season. He's set to face a tough Arizona defense in Week 3, coming off the worst performance of his young career in Sunday's 42-17 loss to the Broncos. Elliott did have 140 yards from scrimmage against a tough Giants defense Week 1.
