The Cardinals released Ellington on Monday, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Ellington caught 23 passes for 210 yards during a three-game stretch in Weeks 3-5, but his productivity largely was a symptom of shortcomings with the Arizona offense. He faded from relevance shortly after the team traded for Adrian Peterson, ultimately landing on the inactive list for Sunday's 31-21 loss to the Texans. Ellington could get a look elsewhere as a potential passing-down specialist. He showed some promise early in his career, but he's never had much luck staying healthy and seems to have lost much of his explosiveness along the way. D.J. Foster and Kerwynn Williams spelled Peterson on passing downs in Sunday's loss.

Vereen had two carries for 13 yards and caught all three of his targets for 15 yards during Sunday's 12-9 overtime win against the Chiefs.

Orleans Darkwa has firmly taken over the team's starting job, leaving Vereen to split the backup duties with Wayne Gallman and see some work on third downs.

Jones (knee) has a final pre-trial hearing scheduled for Feb. 1 on account of multiple charges stemming from an Oct. 1 traffic stop, Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Jones pleaded not guilty to speeding, driving without a valid license and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in his system. The latter count was included after a Wisconsin state trooper smelled marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The preceding news won't impact Jones' availability this season as the NFL waits for the legal process to play out before levying any sort of punishment. That said, Jones is in the midst of a 3-to-6-week recovery due to an MCL sprain in his left knee, so only time will tell when he'll make his next appearance. In the meantime, the Packers will rely upon Jamaal Williams and Devante Mays out of the backfield until Ty Montgomery (ribs) is cleared to play again.

Rodgers rushed once for three yards and returned two kickoffs for 54 yards in Sunday's 30-20 win over the Dolphins.

Rodgers saw only two snaps on offense, but he logged 11 plays on special teams. The veteran back took over as the primary kickoff returner due to the mid-week release of Bernard Reedy, but his offensive role is as minimal as ever. Given current trends, Rodgers' minuscule fantasy value is presently limited to formats that count return yards.

Sims rushed once for three yards and brought in three of five targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 30-20 win over the Dolphins.

Sims once again had a nearly non-existent role in the ground game, but he was able to post a trio of receptions for the second straight contest. The fourth-year back's fantasy production stems almost exclusively from his receiving role, limiting his fantasy viability to very deep PPR formats at present.

Foreman will undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm an initial diagnosis of a ruptured Achilles tendon, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The Texans won't make an official announcement on Foreman's status until after the results of the MRI are read, but the expectation is that the rookie running back will be placed on injured reserve, ending his season. Foreman suffered the injury while finishing off a 34-yard touchdown run in Sunday's win over Arizona, his second score of the day as part of a 10-carry, 65-yard effort on the ground. With Foreman likely sidelined the rest of the way, Alfred Blue (hamstring) -- if healthy -- should step back in as the main backup to Lamar Miller beginning with a Week 12 matchup with Baltimore.

Cunningham caught one pass for eight yards in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Lions.

After seeing more work than rookie Tarik Cohen last week, the veteran took a back seat to the rookie in this contest. He's been held to fewer than 10 yards in two of his last three games, and he's a low-upside fantasy option with a scary floor in PPR leagues.

Anderson carried 13 times for 37 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Bengals. He also caught two of three targets for 19 yards.

Anderson scored on a three-yard touchdown plunge in the first quarter, but he couldn't get much going after that and finished with a subpar 2.8 yards per carry. He watched as Devontae Booker piled up 98 scrimmage yards on 19 touches of his own, leading the team in both categories. With the team on a six-game losing streak since the bye and Brock Osweiler struggling under center, both Anderson and Booker could see similar workloads moving forward, though it's difficult to predict who will have the greater impact next week against the Raiders.

McKinnon rushed 14 times for 48 yards and brought in five of seven targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 24-7 win over the Rams.

McKinnon's final line wasn't awful by any stretch, but he did check in significantly behind backfield Latavius Murray's 95 rushing yards. On a brighter note, his five catches were tied for second on the team, but his 2.4 YPC left much to be desired. Even though Murray has outproduced him on the ground over the last two weeks, the Vikings are still splitting rushing touches fairly evenly between the two, which when combined with McKinnon's passing game role, keeps him a viable fantasy asset. He'll look to contribute in a key Thanksgiving Day divisional clash with the Lions.

Murray rushed 15 times for 95 yards and two touchdowns while also hauling in his only target for one yard in Sunday's 24-7 win over the Rams.

Murray and Jerick McKinnon notably came within just one carry of a 50/50 split of rushing touches, but the former was clearly the more effective of the two. The five-year veteran equaled his best yards-per-carry figure of the season (6.3) while also logging his third and fourth rushing scores in the last four contests. Murray has yet to reach the 20-carry mark in any game this season, but the 27-year-old appears to finally be at full health following offseason ankle surgery if his recent explosiveness is any indication. He'll look to continue surging against the Lions in a Thanksgiving Day divisional clash.
