  • Vikings' Latavius Murray: Finds end zone in win

Murray rushed 20 times for 84 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's 30-23 win over Detroit.

Somewhat quietly, Murray has now compiled 399 rushing yards and five scores through his past five games. He continues to split snaps and carries with Jerick McKinnon, but the timeshare hasn't significantly hindered the fantasy value of either back. After all, a two-man committee in a high-volume rushing attack still provides plenty of opportunities. Additionally, Murray's value is buoyed by his usage near the goal line, as he's now up to 27 red-zone carries through the past eight games.

  • Cowboys' Darren McFadden: Not active Thursday

McFadden (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's game versus the Chargers, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.

As the Cowboys enter a third game without the suspended Ezekiel Elliott, McFadden will remain in street clothes for the second game in a row. Without an injury to Alfred Morris or Rod Smith, McFadden is unlikely to make an appearance before Elliott returns in Week 16.

  • Terrance West RB | BAL

Ravens' Terrance West: Listed as full practice participant

West (calf) was listed as a full participant on Thursday's practice/injury report estimation.

It remains to be seen if West suits up Monday night against the Texans, but at this stage, his health is not an impediment to taking the field in the contest. Alex Collins, Javorius Allen and Danny Woodhead handled the team's rushing duties in Week 11's shutout win over the Packers, and that trio figures to continue to head the team's backfield Week 12 as well.

  • Lions' Dwayne Washington: Won't play Thursday

Washington (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Vikings.

Washington is putting together his second stretch with multiple missed games in a row this season. Thursday's absence will mark his sixth overall, but he's mostly been relegated to special-teams duty in his five appearances due to the presence of Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick in the backfield. If any player receives change-of-pace work behind the duo, it will be Zach Zenner, who has averaged just 1.6 yards per carry in 2017.

  • Samaje Perine RB | CIN

Redskins' Samaje Perine: Week 12 status up in air

Perine (finger) is listed as questionable for Thursday's contest versus the Giants, Kimberley A. Martin of The Washington Post reports.

On the heels of a career-high 117 yards on the ground Sunday in New Orleans, Perine was listed as limited on each of the Redskins' three injury reports this week with a finger issue. His status remains up in the air upon the release of Wednesday's report, but with Chris Thompson (fibula) landing on injured reserve this week, the Redskins haven't showed much urgency in bolstering the backfield. Assuming Perine gets the clearance to play Thursday, he'll be facing a Giants defense that has given up 107.3 rushing yards per game and seven total touchdowns to running backs in 10 outings this season.

  • D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE

Texans' D'Onta Foreman: Shifts to injured reserve

The Texans placed Foreman (Achilles) on injured reserve Wednesday.

Foreman's season will come to a close after he suffered a torn left Achilles in the Week 11 win over the Cardinals while rushing for his second touchdown of the contest. Given the severity of the injury, Foreman could be limited or held out entirely when training camp opens next summer, putting something of a damper on his 2018 outlook. The Texans filled Foreman's spot on the 53-man roster by claiming running back Andre Ellington off waivers from Arizona.

  • Cardinals' Kerwynn Williams: Totals 18 yards

Williams carried the ball once for nine yards and added a nine-yard catch during Sunday's 31-21 loss to Houston.

Williams' 18 total yards was his third-highest total of the season. It's not much now, but Arizona is the market for a new No. 2 behind Adrian Peterson after the release of Andre Ellington. Williams was tied for second among Arizona backs Sunday with nine offensive snaps. D.J. Foster will be his main competition.

  • Samaje Perine RB | CIN

    Redskins' Samaje Perine: Limited Tuesday

Perine (finger) was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice.

The finger issue isn't considered anything overly concerning, so the Redskins are presumably limiting Perine's practice reps after the busiest game to date of his young career in Sunday's loss to the Saints. Perine, who amassed 126 total yards and a touchdown on 24 touches in the contest, looks positioned to serve as the Redskins' lead back the rest of the way with Chris Thompson (lower leg) joining Rob Kelley (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday.

  • Texans' Andre Ellington: Claimed by Houston

The Texans claimed Ellington off waivers Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Let go by the Cardinals after he was a healthy inactive for Arizona's loss Sunday to the Texans, Ellington will stick around in Houston to fortify a backfield that lost rookie running back D'Onta Foreman (Achilles) to a season-ending injury in the contest. Though he doesn't fit the power-back profile Foreman filled, Ellington is an adept pass catcher out of the backfield, a skill that should make him a fair complement to lead runner Lamar Miller. Ellington will have to get up to speed with the Texans' backfield before establishing himself as the top backup, but he has a decent chance of seeing meaningful snaps right off the bat with Alfred Blue (hamstring) uncertain to suit up Sunday against the Ravens after the injury prevented him from suiting up in Week 11.

  • Lions' Dwayne Washington: Not partaking in practice

Washington (hip) wasn't present for the portion of Tuesday's practice that was open to the media, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

With Washington seemingly in line to be listed as a non-participant for the Lions' first two practices of the week, it's not looking promising that he'll be available to play Thanksgiving Day against the Vikings. If that's the case, Zach Zenner would likely be kept active again as the Lions' No. 3 running back and see most of his touches in short-yardage scenarios.
