Edwards rushed 16 times for 38 yards and secured one of two targets for seven yards in the Ravens' 27-10 preseason win over the Dolphins on Saturday.

The undrafted rookie from Rutgers couldn't find much running room while seeing extended action for the fourth straight exhibition. Coach John Harbaugh has given Edwards every chance to showcase his skills, but the 23-year-old hasn't been very efficient on a per-carry basis. The practice squad may be his likely destination after final cuts, but he could see significant volume again in next Thursday's preseason finale versus the Redskins.

Ekeler rushed six times for 50 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's preseason game against the Saints. He also secured all three of his targets for 13 yards.

Ekeler shined in place of Melvin Gordon, who missed Saturday's exhibition in order to tend to a personal matter. While Ekeler -- who averaged 5.5 yards on 47 carries in 2017 -- was his usual efficient self in the featured role, he still seems cemented behind Gordon on the depth chart in advance of Week 1, rendering him nothing more than a handcuff with upside if Gordon is forced to miss any time. In the Chargers' previous two preseason games, Gordon commanded 25 of 29 first-team snaps, including four-of-five snaps on third down.

Gordon (personal) did not play in Saturday's preseason game against the Saints.

Gordon didn't play in order to tend to a family matter, leaving Austin Ekeler to work as the Chargers' featured running back. Gordon was the one on the field for 25 of the team's 29 first-team snaps during the first two preseason games, though -- including four-of-five snaps on third down -- so look for him to instantly reassume workhorse responsibilities when the games start to matter.

Conner ran for just 18 yards on 10 carries but caught six of six targets for 52 yards during Saturday's preseason game against the Titans.

With Le'Veon Bell continuing his holdout, Conner assumed the starting running back role but struggled to get anything going on the ground. Despite the lackluster effort, he has likely shown enough to fend off fifth-round draft pick Jaylen Samuels as Bell's primary backup, and is a potential handcuff in deep drafts.

Kamara rushed four times for 16 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's preseason game against the Chargers. He also caught one of two targets for 10 yards.

Kamara wasn't given much of a workload in his preseason debut, but it was still encouraging to see him receive a couple of rushing attempts in the red zone -- Kamara polished off the Saints' first scoring drive of the game with a two-yard rushing plunge. Set to operate as the team's clear workhorse out of the backfield with Mark Ingram suspended the first four weeks of the year, Kamara might continue to be a prominent figure in the team's goal-line offense from the outset of the upcoming campaign. With that said, New Orleans could also lean on the bigger Jonathan Williams (6-foot, 223 pounds) when it gets in close.

Wilkins carried 14 times for 28 yards and caught both of his targets for an additional 33 yards during Saturday's 23-17 win over the 49ers.

Wilkins started alongside the first-team offense, and though he produced a lackluster two yards per carry, he wound up leading the team in touches, rushing yards and scrimmage yards on the day. The likes of Nyheim Hines and Christine Michael combined for just nine yards on 13 carries, though Michael scored a short touchdown in the third quarter. With Marlon Mack (hamstring) still hurting, Wilkins seems like the leader in the clubhouse to lead the backfield in touches if the former isn't ready to participate in Week 1 of the regular season.

Henry rushed five times for 12 yards during Saturday's preseason game against the Steelers.

The entire Titans first-team offense was unable to get much of anything going before being pulled in the second quarter. While Henry was no exception, the bigger worry for him has to be the fact that fellow tailback Dion Lewis finished the day with more touches and total yardage. This committee approach to the backfield may very well prove to be a wise move for Tennessee's long-term outlook in real life, but it also has the potential to create many headaches for fantasy owners all year long.

Oliver (hamstring) is not expected to play in Saturday's game against the 49ers.

Oliver is facing an uphill battle to make the Colts' 53-man roster with Marlon Mack, Christine Michael, Robert Turbin, Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins all fighting him for snaps. As is the case, Oliver is not helping his cause by sitting on the sideline. He will need to get healthy before preseason ends to improve his chances of making Indianapolis' final squad.

Daniels rushed for a team-high 23 yards on five carries and was targeted one time in the passing game Friday against the Raiders.

Daniels may still face an uphill battle to secure a 53-man roster spot out of training camp, but he displayed a little bit of his ability during Thursday's preseason contest. He will likely have one more opportunity to showcase his ability next Thursday against the Chiefs before cuts are due.

Martin took six carries for 24 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Packers.

Marshawn Lynch started and logged two snaps before turning things over to Martin, who couldn't find any room to run until he ripped off a 16-yard gain early in the second quarter on his final carry. Martin's spot on the 53-man roster appears secure, but it's hard to project a significant workload in a backup role that may or may not include regular work on passing downs. Although he didn't draw any targets Friday, the 29-year-old did stay on the field for both third downs during the opening drive. Martin likely will be held out of the preseason finale to ensure he's healthy for Week 1 against the Rams.
