  • Marlon Mack RB | ARI

Colts' Marlon Mack: Suits up Sunday night

Mack (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday night's game against the Chiefs.

Mack, who was forced out of Week 4's loss to the Raiders, will thus give it a go after practicing fully Friday and evidently progressing favorably through pre-game warm-ups in advance of Sunday night's contest. As long as he avoids any setbacks, Mack is in line to head the Colts' Week 5 backfield, with Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins on hand to serve in change-of pace/complementary roles.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Skies for the game-winner

Jacobs ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries and added 20 yards on three catches during Sunday's 24-21 win over Chicago.

Jacobs capped the comeback in the closing minutes of Sunday's contest, leaping over the Bears defense for a two-yard touchdown to put Oakland on top for good. His two touchdowns were his first since Week 1, but he's comfortably the most reliable Raider from a fantasy perspective, tallying at least 99 total yards in four of five games. He'll be counted on Week 7 against a Packers defense that is pesky against the pass, but has been exposed at times by good running backs.

  • Bears' David Montgomery: Finds end zone

Montgomery rushed 11 times for 25 yards and a touchdown with an 11-yard reception in the Bears' 24-21 loss to the Raiders on Sunday.

Although this appeared as if it could've been a breakout spot for Montgomery, the Bears fell behind 17-0 at the half and as a result, the Bears mostly abandoned the running game. As a result, Tarik Cohen saw more field time than Montgomery. At least when he was given a chance for a goal-line carry, Montgomery converted to keep his fantasy day from being a complete disaster. He'll be on the bye next week, and when he returns Week 7, he'll continue to be a volume-based fantasy option.

  • Panthers' Christian McCaffrey: Tended to cramps Sunday

Coach Ron Rivera told Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic that McCaffrey dealt with cramps near the end of Sunday's 34-27 win against the Jaguars.

McCaffrey limped off the field on the Panthers' second-to-last possession and was seen stretching his legs, per Rodrigue. A short time later, McCaffrey's backup, Reggie Bonnafon, iced the game with a 59-yard touchdown run, and while the Panthers had one last drive, Bonnafon got all the reps out of the backfield thereafter. Rivera implied that McCaffrey will receive plenty of rest this week, so his practice reps may be capped as the team readies itself for a divisional matchup with the Buccaneers in London.

  • Ronald Jones RB | DAL

Buccaneers' Ronald Jones: Modest numbers in division loss

Jones rushed nine times for 35 yards and secured two of three targets for 21 yards in the Buccaneers' 31-24 loss to the Saints on Sunday.

Jones did outpace backfield mate Peyton Barber once again, but by only one carry in this instance after logging 10 more totes than his teammate Week 4. Game flow hardly worked in favor of the running game in the second half anyhow, so it's difficult to fault Jones' modest production and draw too many conclusions from Sunday's results. Jones will look for a more bountiful workload versus the Panthers during a Week 6 divisional tilt in London.

  • Chase Edmonds RB | WAS

Cardinals' Chase Edmonds: Scores big TD in win

Edmonds carried the ball eight times for 68 yards and a touchdown while catching three of four targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 26-23 win over the Bengals.

Arizona's No. 2 RB came into the game with only 14 touches through the first four games, but he was a much bigger part of the game plan with Christian Kirk (ankle) and Damiere Byrd (hamstring) both sidelined, and Edmonds capitalized with a 37-yard TD run in the fourth quarter. Despite the explosive performance, he remains firmly behind David Johnson on the depth chart and could see his touches evaporate once the wide receiving corps gets healthier.

  • Miles Sanders RB | DAL

Eagles' Miles Sanders: Outplayed by Howard on ground

Sanders rushed nine times for 15 yards and caught four of five targets for 49 more yards in Sunday's 31-6 win over the Jets.

Sanders worked in a timeshare with Jordan Howard, who gained 62 yards on 13 carries. Howard was the guy who got the call from one yard out in the first quarter and converted a touchdown. Sanders is still searching for his first career touchdown while Howard has scored five in the last three weeks, relegating the rookie to the clear No. 2 role in Philadelphia's backfield from a fantasy standpoint.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Logs 23 touches in division win

Kamara rushed 16 times for 62 yards and secured six of seven targets for 42 yards in the Saints' 31-24 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. He also completed his only pass attempt for 13 yards.

Although he didn't find the end zone, Kamara was the ideal complement to the exploits of Teddy Bridgewater and Michael Thomas through the air. The versatile back checked in a distant second in receptions, receiving yardage and targets to Thomas while also eclipsing 60 yards on the ground for the third straight game. Kamara has now gone consecutive games without a score of any kind, however, a matter he'll look to rectify at the expense of the Jaguars in Week 6.

  • Joe Mixon RB | HOU

Bengals' Joe Mixon: Best rushing performance of 2019

Mixon ran for 93 yards on 19 carries and caught his only target for 16 yards during Sunday's 26-23 loss to the Cardinals.

The third-year back is trending in the right direction in terms of his rushing efficiency, breaking four yards per carry in three consecutive games after managing just 1.6 YPC on 17 combined carries between Weeks 1 and 2. Mixon gained nine or more yards on 26.3 percent of his rushing attempts, but was unable to cash in on either of his goal-line carries against Arizona. In Week 6, he'll face a Ravens defense that bounced back Sunday by holding James Conner to 55 yards on 14 carries, after getting lit up by Cleveland's Nick Chubb for 165 yards and three touchdowns one outing prior.

  • Dalvin Cook RB | DAL

Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Totals 218 scrimmage yards

Cook carried 21 times for 132 yards and caught six passes for an additional 86 yards during Sunday's 28-10 win over the Giants.

Cook gashed the Giants on the ground, averaging 6.3 yards per carry and tying his season high with 21 totes. He also finished second on the team in targets and catches while setting a new personal best in receiving yardage. Cook has now gone over 110 rushing yards in four of five games this season and continues to excel as a receiver out of the backfield. He'll face a tough matchup next Sunday against the Eagles, but he should still be a worthy fantasy play because of his multi-faceted skill set.
