Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Jets' Khalil Herbert: Healthy inactive for London game
Herbert (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos in London.
After signing with the Jets last week, Herbert dressed as the Jets' No. 3 running back for this past Sunday's 37-22 loss to the Cowboys. He didn't see any playing time on offense in the loss but contributed on special teams, where he brought back one kickoff for 22 yards. With Kene Nwangwu (hamstring) set to play Sunday for the first time since Week 1, the Jets won't have a need for Herbert as depth at running back or as a kickoff returner.

Owen Wright RB | TB
Buccaneers' Owen Wright: Elevated ahead of Week 6
The Buccaneers elevated Wright from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Wright was signed to the Bucs' practice squad Tuesday, and he'll be on the team's active roster for Sunday's home clash against the 49ers. He'll be expected to serve as the Buccaneers' RB3 behind Rachaad White and Sean Tucker due to the absences Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) and Josh Williams (concussion). Wright last saw action in 2023 as a member of the Ravens, when he played in one regular-season game and played solely on special teams.

Nyheim Miller-Hines RB | NO
Chargers' Nyheim Hines: Elevated by Bolts for Week 6
The Chargers elevated Hines from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
Hines joined the Chargers' practice squad Tuesday, and his addition gives the team much-needed depth at running back after Omarion Hampton (ankle) was placed on injured reserve. Hines will likely be active against the Dolphins on Sunday, and if he plays, it will mark his first action since the 2022 season, when he appeared in 16 regular-season games between the Bills (nine) and the Colts (seven). Hines could serve in a return role on kickoffs and punts but might also see work out of the backfield behind Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal.

Terrell Jennings RB | NE
Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Elevated for Week 6
The Patriots elevated Jennings from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
It's Jennings first elevation from the practice of the season, and he's slated to serve as the Patriots' RB3 behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson during Sunday's game against the Saints. Jennings logged 13 carries for 33 yards across three regular-season games with New England in 2024.

Travis Homer RB | PIT
Bears' Travis Homer: Questionable to play Monday
Homer (calf) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Commanders.
Homer started the season on injured reserve due to a calf injury that he suffered in preseason action in August. He was a full participant in practice this past week, but he would need to be activated from IR in order to have a chance at playing in Washington on Monday. Once he's cleared to return, Homer could be deployed on special teams as a returner while providing depth in the Bears' backfield.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: In line to play Sunday
Kamara (ankle), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Kamara told Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune that he injured his ankle in last Sunday's win over the Giants, which left him limited in practice Wednesday through Friday. Ultimately, Kamara's status for Sunday's contest will be confirmed about 90 minutes before a 1 p.m. ET kickoff, but even if he's active, there's a chance he cedes some snaps to his primary backup, Kendre Miller.

Ameer Abdullah RB | IND
Colts' Ameer Abdullah: Elevated from practice squad
The Colts elevated Abdullah from the practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's matchup versus the Cardinals.
Abdullah will serve as the team's No. 3 running back for the second straight week as Tyler Goodson remains sidelined due to a groin injury. Abdullah carried the ball two times for six yards and a touchdown in the Week 5 win over the Raiders while playing on both offense and special teams. The team will be able to elevate the 32-year-old just one more time following Sunday's matchup.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. RB | JAC
Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Status in question for Monday
Rodriguez (calf) is listed as questionable for Monday's game versus the Bears.
Rodriguez officially was listed as a DNP on all three of the Commanders' Week 6 practice reports due to a calf injury, but the team still is giving him a chance to suit up Monday. Even if he's available, though, he'll be a complementary option at best along with Jeremy McNichols behind Jacory Croskey-Merritt. Such a role has amounted to 23 carries for 105 yards and no touchdowns and zero targets in three contests this season.

Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Cowboys' Miles Sanders: Moves to injured reserve
The Cowboys placed Sanders (knee/ankle) on injured reserve Saturday.
After Executive Vice President Stephen Jones announced Friday that Sanders was slated for season-ending knee surgery, this move was inevitable. Moving forward, rookie Jaydon Blue and fullback Hunter Luepke will be the options out of the Cowboys backfield behind starter Javonte Williams.

Rachaad White RB | WAS
Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Set for another start
White will serve as the Buccaneers' No. 1 RB on Sunday against the 49ers with Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) ruled out for that contest, Brianna Dix of the team's official site reports.
With Irving inactive for this past Sunday's 38-35 win at Seattle, White dominated offensive snap share (80 percent) and touches (18) among Tampa Bay running backs en route to 71 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs. Meanwhile, Sean Tucker (21 percent, six touches) and Josh Williams (three percent, no touches) were distant second and third options, respectively. Irving didn't practice this week, so beyond Week 6, White could be in line for additional elevated workloads until the former is able to get back on the practice field and prove the health of his left foot and shoulder.
