Jordan Wilkins RB | CLE
Colts' Jordan Wilkins: Leads backfield
Wilkins carried the ball 11 times for 47 yards in the team's Week 13 loss to the Titans. He also hauled in two passes for nine yards.
After logging just one offensive snap in the team's Week 12 contest against the Texans, Wilkins led the team in both carries and rushing yards in Week 13. His performance wasn't particularly noteworthy, as he gained seven and 15 yards on his first two carries, respectively, but then failed to gain more than five yards on the ground until his final rush, halfway through the fourth quarter. Though his workload was a positive, Wilkins and the Colts' backfield will have a tough matchup against the Buccaneers in Week 14. In addition, Marlon Mack (hand) may be back in action, which would greatly cut into Wilkins' workload.

Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Chargers' Melvin Gordon: Accumulates over 100 total yards
Gordon carried the ball 20 times for 99 yards and also caught two his three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss at the hands of the Broncos.
That's now two consecutive games in which Gordon has failed to get into the end zone after a three-week stretch which saw the running back score four times. Still, it's encouraging to see Gordon continue to receive carries, as the 26-year-old has ran 20 or more times in three of the last four games and has hit at least 100 total yards in each one to boot. The change from Ken Whisenhunt to Shane Steichen at offensive coordinator could wind up being a career-saving move for Gordon, who has accumulated 442 total yards and a respectable 4.7 yards-per-carry average in the four games since the switch.
-
Benny Snell RB | DET
Steelers' Benny Snell: Scores first career touchdown
Snell ran for 63 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries and added a four-yard catch during Sunday's 20-13 win over Cleveland.
Snell put the Steelers up early in the third quarter, shuffling through the line for the one-yard score. The Steelers didn't trail after that. The rookie has been effective when called upon to step in for James Conner, who missed Sunday's game with a shoulder injury. He has topped 85 yards twice in his last four games and, depending on Conner's health, could lead the way against an Arizona defense Sunday that has been terrible against the pass and only so-so against the run this season.

Nyheim Miller-Hines RB | NO
Colts' Nyheim Hines: Finds end zone in Week 13
Hines ran the ball four times for 22 yards and touchdown in the team's Week 13 loss to the Titans. He also added two receptions for 18 yards.
Hines saw the fewest carries out of the trio in the Colts' backfield, though he was the only one to find the end zone. He was given consecutive rushing attempts near the goal line on the team's first drive in the third quarter, first carrying the ball from down to to the one-yard line prior to scoring. He was also targeted only twice in the passing game, surprising usage given the team's lack of offensive skill-position players. Hines and the rest of the Colts' backfield will have a tough matchup against the Buccaneers in Week 14, though he may be able to get things going through the air if given an opportunity.
-
Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Gains 79 yards in loss
Chubb ran for 58 yards on 16 carries and added a 21-yard catch during Sunday's 20-13 loss to Pittsburgh.
The Steelers held Chubb to his first game with less than 90 total yards of offense since Week 1. The sophomore back has been supremely productive, but he has just one touchdown in his last six outings. Kareem Hunt hasn't eaten into Chubb's carries too much since making his debut in Week 10, but he does have two touchdowns in four games. That will be worth keeping in mind heading into Sunday's contest against Cincinnati, thought the Bengals came into Week 12 surrendering 4.8 yards per rush, making Chubb a great start under just about every circumstance.
-
Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Titans' Derrick Henry: Tops 150 total yards
Henry ran the ball 26 times for 149 yards and one touchdown in the team's Week 13 win over the Colts. He also added three receptions for 17 yards.
Henry once again ripped off a number of big runs, the most impactful of which came on his 13-yard touchdown halfway through the third quarter. Earlier that drive, he rumbled for a 34-yard run -- his longest of the day -- to push the Titans into Colts territory. Henry has now scored at least once in four consecutive games, while also recording a run of 30 or more yards in four of his last five contests. He will have another exploitable matchup in Week 14 against the Raiders.
-
Patrick Laird RB | TB
Dolphins' Patrick Laird: Team's lead back in Week 13 win
Laird ran for five yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and hauled in four of five targets for 43 yards during Sunday's 37-31 win against Philadelphia.
The rookie back out of California stepped up following Kalen Ballage's (leg) second-quarter exit, garnering seven more rush attempts than any other Dolphins player on the afternoon and finishing tied for third on the team in targets. Though his rushing efficiency was putrid Sunday, he had been economical on a limited sample size coming into Week 13, rushing for 31 yards on his first six NFL carries and turning eight receptions into 66 yards. Even if Ballage is forced to sit out Miami's Week 14 game and Laird is thrust into a prime role, he would still be a risky play, given the Jets have held opposing backs to a meager 3.0 yards per rush on the year.
-
Darrel Williams RB | NO
Chiefs' Darrel Williams: Exits Sunday's game
Williams suffered a hamstring injury Sunday against the Raiders.
This had the look of an injury that will probably end the running back's day. With Damien Williams (ribs) already out this week, the Chiefs' Week 13 backfield is now down to LeSean McCoy and Darwin Thompson. Darrel Williams finishes the game with 13 rushing yards on six carries and a three-yard touchdown on his lone catch.
-
Christian McCaffrey RB | SF
Panthers' Christian McCaffrey: Held in check by Redskins
McCaffrey carried 14 times for 44 yards and caught seven of 13 targets for 58 additional yards during Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Redskins.
Despite his seemingly favorable matchup, McCaffrey averaged just 3.1 yards per carry en route to one of his lowest rushing outputs of the season. He yet again played a major role in the passing game, but even at that he hauled in just over half the passes thrown his way and barely reached 100 yards from scrimmage. Most notably, McCaffrey failed to reach the end zone for just the third time this season to cap off this lackluster outing. He should have every opportunity to bounce back next Sunday against the Falcons.
-
Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Eagles' Miles Sanders: Records first-quarter receiving TD
Sanders ran for 83 yards on 17 rush attempts and caught all five of his targets for 22 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 37-31 loss to the Dolphins.
The rookie back was handed the keys as Philadelphia's workhorse against Miami's 31st-ranked rush defense and turned in an impressive 4.9 yards-per-carry average, with a 15-yard receiving TD to boot. With Jordan Howard (shoulder) having practiced on a limited basis all week leading up to Sunday's contest and remaining questionable for Week 14, Sanders may once again be in line for a hefty workload as the Eagles take on a Giants defense that has contained opposing running backs to a respectable 4.0 yards per rush. With Howard inactive for Philadelphia's past three outings, Sanders has garnered 13.3 carries per game, compared to just 8.4 rush attempts per game Weeks 1 through 9.
