  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Tops 150 total yards

Kamara rushed the ball 16 times for 69 yards and a touchdown In Week 3 against Seattle. He also added nine receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown.

Kamara totaled 25 touches and made the most of them, finding the end zone twice. His biggest play of the contest came at the close of the first half, when he took a short pass to the end zone for a 29-yard touchdown. With just four minutes remaining in the game, he found the end zone once again, this time on a one-yard rush. While it was expected that Kamara would be fed the ball in the absence of Drew Brees, his ability to find the end zone and prolific production as a receiver quell some of the concern about Teddy Bridgewater taking over under center.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: MRI on tap Monday

Barkley has a high ankle sprain and will go in for an MRI on Monday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

While the MRI should help shed light on the severity of Barkley's injury, high ankle sprains often come with a 4-to-6-week recovery timetable, so a multi-game absence is the most likely scenario for the star running back. Barkley's injury put a damper on an otherwise tremendous day for Big Blue, as rookie quarterback Daniel Jones guided the Giants to a 32-31 road win over Tampa Bay while breathing life into an offense that had been sputtering with Eli Manning under center.

  • Panthers' Christian McCaffrey: Big day in desert

McCaffrey carried the ball 24 times for 153 yards and a touchdown while catching three of four targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Cardinals.

With Kyle Allen replacing Cam Newton (foot) under center, the Panthers leaned heavily on McCaffrey, and he more than rose to the occasion. The third-year back has a massive 450 scrimmage yards through three games (318 rushing, 132 receiving), but CMC could face a tougher test in Week 4 against a Texans defense that just held Austin Ekeler in check.

  • Nick Bawden RB | HOU

Lions' Nick Bawden: Catches first pass of season

Bawden caught his only target for a 10-yard gain during Sunday's 27-24 victory over the Eagles.

Bawden continues to a be a low-usage offensive weapon, but he flashed his athleticism on his lone opportunity Sunday by catching a short pass and hurdling Eagles safety Rodney McLeod to get Detroit into the red zone.

  • Royce Freeman RB | CHI

Broncos' Royce Freeman: Robbed of touchdown

Freeman ran for 63 yards on 15 carries and added 10 yards on four carries during Sunday's 27-16 loss in Green Bay.

Freeman reportedly was dealing with some shoulder discomfort, but that did not prevent him from recording 19 touches -- the second-highest total of his career. He should have also had his first touchdown of the year, but had a second-quarter score called back on a controversial holding call on Emmanuel Sanders. Head coach Vic Fangio said after the game that the Packers essentially dared Denver to run. Jacksonville should be a little less generous in Week 4, though the Broncos should continue to live and die behind Freeman and Phillip Lindsay.

  • Packers' Jamaal Williams: Leads way in touches

Williams ran for 59 yards on 12 carries and added 27 yards on two catches during Sunday's 27-16 win over Denver.

After slowly increasing his workload through the first two weeks, Williams finally overtook Aaron Jones in touches Sunday, 14 to 11. Jones benefited from two of the most important touches -- a pair of touchdown carries -- but the slowly increasing role of Williams bears watching as Jones has struggled early -- averaging 3.8 yards per carry thus far this season. Look for Williams -- particularly with his receiving ability -- to continue to put pressure on his teammate Thursday against the Eagles.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Plunges for two scores

Jones ran for 19 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries and added a four-yard catch during Sunday's 27-16 win over Denver.

Jones was bottled up for almost all of Sunday, but fans will surely take his pair of touchdowns complements of two costly Denver turnovers. The end result was solid for Jones, but it's right to be concerned by a 3.8-yards per carry start to the season and Jamaal Williams' steady increase in touches. He'll have to pick it up quickly with a Thursday matchup against a struggling Eagles team looming.

  • Gus Edwards RB | LAC

Ravens' Gus Edwards: Gains 68 yards in loss

Edwards ran for 53 yards on seven carries and added two catches for 15 yards during Sunday's 33-28 loss to the Chiefs.

The 7.6 yards per clip were obviously a welcomed sight after Edwards inefficient start to the season. The question is, however, whether Sunday's improve effectiveness will lead to more opportunities moving forward. Veteran Mark Ingram has been a beast to start the year with five touchdowns in three games, including three Sunday. Edwards has value in keeping Ingram fresh, but -- until the veteran cools or Edwards strings together a few more days like he had Sunday -- his value probably isn't high enough to play.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Ruled out with ankle injury

Barkley (ankle) won't return to Sunday's contest at Tampa Bay, Tom Rock of Newsday reports.

Barkley suffered an ugly-looking injury to his right ankle at the end of a reception late in the first half Sunday, requiring assistance to get to the locker room. When he returned to the sideline, he was wearing a walking boot and moving about with the help of crutches, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. While we await word on the severity of Barkley's injury, the Giants will rely on Wayne Gallman to fuel the ground game.

  • Colts' Nyheim Hines: Notches three grabs

Hines rushed twice for three yards and brought in three of four targets for 26 yards in the Colts' 27-24 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

The backup running back saw minimal action on the ground, but his pass-catching skills were put to use as customary. Hines hasn't logged more than four carries in any of the first three games, but he already has a pair of four-target tallies over that span and notched a season high in receiving yardage Sunday. The 22-year-old will look to up his contributions at the expense of the Raiders in Week 4.
