Zenner signed a contract with the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Along with Zenner, the Cardinals added fellow running back Alfred Morris to the roster Wednesday in a pair of transactions that likely signals some level of concern about the health of David Johnson (ankle). Even if Johnson is ruled out for Sunday's game in New Orleans, Zenner and Morris would likely handle only limited depth roles behind Week 7 breakout star Chase Edmonds.

Scott carried seven times for 32 yards and hauled in his only target for a five-yard reception in Sunday's 37-10 loss to the Cowboys.

Scott has only logged 12 offensive snaps in his two games since being promoted from the Eagles' practice squad, but he's handled the ball on each of those plays. The Louisiana Tech product could become a healthy inactive once Darren Sproles (quadriceps) returns, but it's far from a sure thing the veteran will be ready to play Week 8 in Buffalo. If Sproles is out again, Scott should be in store for a handful of touches behind Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders.

Barkley (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Coach Pat Shurmur said Wednesday that Barkley is dealing with "game soreness" and is expected to suit up Week 8, per Duggan. Barkley returned to action in last weekend's loss to the Cardinals after missing the previous three contests due to a right high-ankle sprain. Barring any setbacks, it appears the star running back will be a go for Sunday's game against the Lions, despite starting the week limited.

Conner (quadriceps) expects to play in Monday's game against the Dolphins, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

A well-timed bye allowed Conner to rest his quad injury, one that forced him out in the second half of a 24-17 win over the Chargers in Week 6. He reportedly looked healthy earlier this week, running around the locker room in a fit of celebration after he received a gaming headset from wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. In any case, the Steelers will release their initial Week 8 injury report Thursday, and it sounds like Conner should either be a limited or full participant. Benny Snell is the next man up in the backfield, though Jaylen Samuels (knee) could be back soon.

The Texans brought Walter in for a workout Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The Texans also worked out running back Darius Jackson. Houston has gotten by with Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson at running back since Lamar Miller's season-ending knee injury, so there's no obvious reason for bringing in Walter or Jackson.

Washington caught his only target, a six-yard gain, during Sunday's 36-25 win over Chicago.

Even with Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) on the shelf, Washington was able to muster just one offensive snap during Sunday's game, his first of the season. Though Sunday brings Arizona's 25th-ranked run defense and Kamara's status is uncertain, Washington seems likely to continue to be a special-teams contributor more than anything else.

Barner was unable to reel in his only target during Sunday's 37-10 loss to the Rams.

Barner logged a season-high four offensive snaps Sunday and was targeted for the second time this season, but remains without a touch in 2019. Though Seattle's defense has statistically been so-so this season, it'd be hard to imagine Barner earning many meaningful opportunities, especially if Matt Ryan (ankle) is unable to play.

The Saints cut Zenner on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Zenner was a late addition to the roster last week after Alvin Kamara (ankle) was forced to sit out Week 7. The former Lion made little difference in his appearance, rushing once for one yard and adding a six-yard catch. Following Zenner's release, this is a positive sign that Kamara will be healthy enough to return for Week 8.

Hines rushed once for three yards and caught one of two targets for 13 yards in Sunday's win over the Texans.

The 22-year-old saw only seven offensive snaps Sunday and was out-snapped by Jordan Wilkins. Hines should continue to be limited to passing-down work with Marlon Mack handling the bulk of the snaps.

Wilkins rushed twice for nine yards and caught his only target for six yards in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Texans.

As expected, Marlon Mack led the backfield with 21 touches for 56 scrimmage yards while Wilkins and Nyheim Hines were afterthoughts. Wilkins has emerged as a more-dependable runner than Hines, but Hines is still a consistently used pass catcher. Both of their fantasy values are low as long as Mack is healthy.
