  • Boston Scott RB | PIT

Eagles' Boston Scott: Six grabs in win

Scott rushed three times for 12 yards and caught all six of his targets for seven yards in Sunday's 17-9 win over Dallas.

Scott got out-touched again by Miles Sanders, 26-9, but the Louisiana Tech product caught enough balls to matter in PPR leagues. Sanders similarly out-snapped Scott, 59-20, on offense. Scott's role could be reduced if Jordan Howard (shoulder) is able to return as the Eagles look to lock down the NFC East in Week 17 against the Giants.

  • C.J. Anderson RB | LAR

C.J. Anderson: Works out in Seattle

Anderson had a workout with the Seahawks on Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Anderson was cut by the Lions after Week 2 and has been unable to latch on with another team despite multiple workouts. The Seahawks lost Chris Carson (hip) and C.J. Prosise (arm) to season-ending injuries during Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, leaving Travis Homer as the only available running back on the roster.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Could play in season finale

Coach Jon Gruden said Jacobs (shoulder) may be ready for the Raiders' season finale against the Broncos, Jerry McDonald of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Jacobs has missed two of the last three games due to a fractured shoulder, but he handled bell-cow duties despite the injury in Week 15's loss to the Jaguars, rushing 24 times for 89 yards and catching two passes for 20 yards. The Raiders haven't been eliminated from playoff contention yet, so the rookie first-round pick's presence obviously would increase their chances of securing the final spot. Jacobs' practice status will be monitored throughout the upcoming week. If he's ultimately ruled out, DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard will handle the backfield again.

  • Myles Gaskin RB | SEA

Dolphins' Myles Gaskin: Week 17 status up in air

Gaskin's status is murky for Sunday's game at New England due to a left ankle injury, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Despite departing with 3:59 remaining in the fourth quarter this past Sunday against the Bengals, Gaskin received the most touches (17) among Dolphins running backs in a game that went to overtime. If he indeed sits out the regular-season finale, Miami's backfield will be whittled down to Patrick Laird, De'Lance Turner and potentially a player currently not under contract.

  • James Conner RB | ARI

Steelers' James Conner: Gets quad checked out

Conner underwent an MRI to assess the quad injury he sustained on his final carry in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Jets, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

For now, Conner's status for this weekend's regular-season finale against the Ravens is unclear. If he's unable to go or limited, Benny Snell, Jaylen Samuels and Kerrith Whyte would handle the Steelers' Week 17 backfield duties.

  • Dolphins' Patrick Laird: Another pedestrian outing

Laird rushed eight times for 17 yards during Sunday's 38-35 overtime win against the Bengals. He also caught his only target for one yard.

Laird logged fewer touches than fellow rookie Myles Gaskin, who rushed 16 times for 55 yards and a touchdown, indicating that he may have bumped down to the No. 2 role on Miami's depth chart. Gaskin was carted off the field due to a left ankle injury in the fourth quarter Week 16, however, and if he were to miss any time, Laird could be in line to handle the bulk of the backfield reps during Week 17's finale against the Patriots.

  • Nick Chubb RB | HOU

Browns' Nick Chubb: Held in check by Ravens

Chubb gained 45 yards on 15 carries and did not catch his lone target in Sunday's 31-15 loss to the Ravens.

As Chubb has been the Browns' best player, the Ravens knew he was the first weapon to take away. The 45 yards from scrimmage is his lowest output of the season by a wide margin. If the Browns had entertained any thoughts of an upset or keeping their faint playoff hopes alive, they needed to open holes for him. Chubb will look to finish off the season with a better performance in Week 17 against the Bengals' 32nd-ranked run defense -- he averaged 7.1 yards per carry and gained 106 yards against them in Week 14.

  • Bears' Cordarrelle Patterson: Receives two touches

Patterson had a 16-yard run and a five-yard reception in the Bears' 26-3 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.

Patterson has had three or fewer touches in all but one game this season, and he won't be a recommended fantasy option in Week 17 against the Vikings.

  • Chiefs' Damien Williams: Leads backfield and scores

Williams rushed 16 times for 65 yards and caught three passes for 27 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-3 win over the Bears.

LeSean McCoy was a healthy scratch for this contest, leaving Williams as the unquestioned lead back in his return from a three-game injury layoff. The 27-year-old didn't appear to be limited by the ribs injury that kept him on the shelf, dominating the backfield touches with 19 and averaging 4.1 yards per carry. Next week's opponent, the Los Angeles Chargers, are one of the toughest teams to throw on but can be beat on the ground (110.3 rushing yards allowed per game), making Williams a high-upside play given the matchup and his clear lead-back role.

  • Bears' David Montgomery: Receives 14 touches

Montgomery rushed 13 times for 57 yards and caught one pass for two yards in the Bears' 26-3 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.

Aside from one drive in the third quarter when Montgomery had three productive runs, he was a non-factor in a game in which the Bears were unable to compete. After having posted at least 49 combined yards in each of his last four games, he'll be a volume-based option at running back in Week 17 against the Vikings.
