Coach Jon Gruden said Monday that he doesn't have much confidence that Jacobs (ankle) will be available for Sunday's game against the Colts, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Jacobs didn't practice at all before being ruled out for last weekend's narrow win over the Jets, and it looks like he could be trending toward a two-game absence due to an ankle sprain. Devontae Booker was ineffective in the lead role versus New York, but he could get another chance to handle a notable workload against Indianapolis' stout defensive front.

Perine had three carries for seven yards during Sunday's 19-7 loss to the Dolphins.

The 25-year-old played 17 of 52 offensive snaps while Giovani Bernard handled 14 touches in the defeat. The Bengals previously indicated they expect Joe Mixon (foot) to be back from injured reserve this week, which would push Perine further down the depth chart.

Ogunbowale rushed twice for seven yards and failed to catch two targets during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Vikings.

The two carries is hardly significant in the big picture, but it's still notable given it's Ogunbowale's first of the season, and also the first time a running back besides James Robinson has received a carry since Week 9. Ogunbowale was the only running back behind Robinson to play any offensive snaps, so he appears to have secured the No. 2 job in the backfield, not that there's any fantasy potential in that role.

Coach Matt Rhule said Monday that he's "hopeful" McCaffrey (shoulder) will be available for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.

McCaffrey appears to have a solid shot to retake the field coming off Carolina's bye, a development which would certainly be welcome for fantasy managers who've only had the standout running back available for three games this season. A final decision on McCaffrey's status will almost certainly come down to the extent of his participation in practice.

Dallas caught two of three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 17-12 loss to the Giants.

Dallas didn't play an offensive snap last week, but he enjoyed a larger role in this outing, logging just six fewer snaps than backfield mate Carlos Hyde's 18. This may have been partly due to the fact Hyde dealt with turf toe throughout the week. A decent workload could be expected on a weekly basis if Hyde's reps remain limited, but there's not meaningful fantasy relevance for Dallas in his current role.

Edwards-Helaire (illness) was active during Sunday night's 22-16 win over the Broncos but did not register a single snap.

Edwards-Helaire missed practice Thursday and Friday due to a stomach flu, and Matt Derrick of Sports Radio 810 WHB reports that the illness even caused him to lose some weight. It was only after the game, and Edwards-Helaire's surprise goose egg in a key fantasy week, that coach Andy Reid revealed his intent to hold the rookie running back out except as an emergency option. Hopefully Edwards-Helaire will be all clear of his ailment in time for the Chiefs' Week 14 matchup against the Dolphins, but if there are any lingering concerns about his health the team could simply lean on Le'Veon Bell again.

Williams had five carries for 26 yards and two receptions for 10 yards in Sunday's victory over the Eagles.

After spending about half the time on the field over the previous three weeks, Williams was outsnapped roughly 2:1 by Aaron Jones in Week 13. He finished with fewer than 10 touches for just the second time in six games, but also the second time in the last three contests. Williams will have an enticing matchup in Week 14 against Detroit, but his workload is trending in the wrong direction. It should also be noted that the Lions have been better against the run of late, giving up an average of just 3.7 YPC on 114 attempts over their last four games.

Gordon rushed 15 times for 131 yards while catching one of two targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 22-16 loss to Kansas City.

The Broncos had the Chiefs on the brink of defeat for more than half of the contest, and Gordon's rushing onslaught played a big role in the near-upset. The veteran back has shown us flashes of why he was considered one of the league's top rushers before falling out with the Chargers, but the lack of consistency has made him frustrating to rely on in fantasy. A chunk of the blame can be placed on mediocre quarterback play and injuries on the offensive line, but excuses are not traditionally a scoring category in weekly matchups. That being said, a gratuitous matchup against a porous Panthers defense (25.6 fantasy points per game to opposing RBs) lies ahead for managers potentially heading into the fantasy playoffs.

McNichols rushed the ball two times for two yards and a touchdown in Week 13 against the Browns. He added three receptions for 15 yards.

McNichols didn't touch the ball until late in the fourth quarter with the Titans down 20 points. He helped move the ball down the field with receptions of four and eight yards, and ultimately capped off the drive with a one-yard touchdown run. McNichols remains the likeliest candidate to see the majority of work out of the backfield if Derrick Henry were to be sidelined.

Murray rushed five times for 17 yards and caught both of his targets for no gain in the Saints' 21-16 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Just a week after rumbling for 124 yards and two touchdowns, Murray was limited to seven touches and just 17 scoreless yards. Chasing his huge Week 12 proved to be fool's gold for fantasy managers, as Murray took a backseat to Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill in the ground game. Murray's yardage was his lowest of the season, and he'll be tough to trust when the Saints travel to Philadelphia in Week 14.
