Spencer Brown RB | ATL
Spencer Brown: Returns to practice squad
Brown reverted to the Panthers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Brown was a gameday elevation for Sunday's loss to Minnesota, though he was actually a healthy scratch for the contest. Chuba Hubbard and Royce Freeman are Carolina's only healthy running backs with Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) on injured reserve, so Brown could quickly rejoin the active roster.

Jacques Patrick RB | NYJ
Jacques Patrick: Sticks with San Fran
Patrick was signed to the 49ers practice squad Monday, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Patrick was waived by the 49ers last week but will stick around the organization on the practice squad. He could rejoin the active roster of Elijah Mitchell, Trey Sermon or Trenton Cannon suffer an injury.

Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Broncos' Melvin Gordon: Limited on practice estimate
Denver lists Gordon (hip) as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
For the second week in a row, Gordon is appearing on the Broncos' practice report with a hip issue after rib and lower leg injuries previously cost him practice time in late September and early October. Gordon ended up carrying a questionable designation into Sunday's 34-24 loss to the Raiders, but he saw a normal snap share (53 percent) and averaged a healthy 5.0 yards per carry on 10 totes while adding three receptions for 23 yards. Because he's at least opening Week 7 as a limited participant on the Broncos' report, Gordon will more than likely be ready to play Thursday in Cleveland, though it's possible he once again takes a designation into the contest.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Opens week as DNP in practice
The Browns listed Chubb (calf) as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Chubb missed his first game of the season in Sunday's 37-14 loss to the Cardinals, with the Browns turning to Kareem Hunt to replace him as the team's lead back. Hunt suffered a calf injury of his own in the contest that will likely keep him sidelined for 4-to-6 weeks, but Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski wasn't ready to rule Chubb out from returning to action Week 7 for a Thursday night matchup with the Broncos. Due to the short week, the Browns may not hold a traditional practice session until Wednesday, which could make it tough to gauge where Chubb stands in his recovery. Regardless, Chubb will likely need to bump up to at least limited participation on the practice report at some point over the next two days to have a realistic shot at playing Thursday. If Chubb joins Hunt on the sideline Week 7, the Browns will turn to D'Ernest Johnson and Demetric Felton to lead the backfield.

Marlon Mack RB | ARI
Colts' Marlon Mack: Five carries in blowout win
Mack had five carries for 12 yards in Sunday's win over Houston.
Mack played nine snaps and got some work in a blowout win. It looks like Mack will continue to get about five carries a game in a reserve role. He's also a candidate to be traded after Mack and the Colts mutually agreed to seek a trade two weeks ago.
-
Nyheim Miller-Hines RB | NO
Colts' Nyheim Hines: Just five touches Sunday
Hines had four carries for 13 yards and one reception for nine yards on two targets in Sunday's win over Houston.
Hines played on just 11 of the offense's 48 snaps as he wasn't needed in the passing game with the Colts having a large lead and with Jonathan Taylor running well (145 yards rushing). Meanwhile, Marlon Mack had five carries and played nine snaps. While he may get more work when the Colts are playing from behind, it's worrisome he's had such little involvement the past three weeks (12 touches the last three games) while Mack has become more involved.

JaMycal Hasty RB | NE
49ers' JaMycal Hasty: Designated to return from IR
The 49ers designated Hasty (ankle) to return from injured reserve Monday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Hasty had nine touches for 59 yards before suffering a high-ankle sprain during San Francisco's second game of the season. The 49ers backfield has been decimated by injuries this year, but they are coming off their bye week, which may have allowed them to finally get their running back room healthy. Hasty will have a 21-day period to be added to the active roster, but if he isn't, he will stay on IR for the rest of the season.
-
Alexander Mattison RB | MIA
Vikings' Alexander Mattison: Just three carries with Cook back
Mattison had three carries for 10 yards in Sunday's win at Carolina.
With Dalvin Cook back to full strength after missing the previous game with an ankle injury, Mattison moved back to a reserve role and played on just 12 of the offense's 89 snaps. Mattison eclipsed 100 rushing yards in both spot starts when Cook has sat out this season, so he's one of the more valuable backups in the league. However, he'll likely have minimal fantasy most games when Cook is healthy.

DeeJay Dallas RB | JAC
Seahawks' DeeJay Dallas: Solid effort in loss
Dallas carried four times for 17 yards and caught all five targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Steelers.
Dallas logged 22 offensive snaps, finishing behind Alex Collins (33) but comfortably ahead of Travis Homer (five), who registered 54 yards on three touches. Collins is uncertain for the Week 7 matchup against the Saints due to a hip injury, so Dallas could take on a larger role. However, Rashaad Penny (calf) may return from IR while Homer still should handle some passing-down work. Still, if Collins sits out, Dallas should be the temporary lead back considering it will be Penny's first game action since Week 1.
-
Travis Homer RB | PIT
Seahawks' Travis Homer: Rings up 54 total yards
Homer rushed twice for 27 yards and caught his lone target for 27 yards in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Steelers.
The Seahawks recorded just four plays that went further than 20 yards, and Homer accounted for two of them. The third-year back could handle an expanded role Week 7 against the Saints, as Chris Carson (neck) is out for the next two games while Alex Collins (hip) is uncertain for that matchup. However, Rashaad Penny (calf) potentially is on track to return Monday, while DeeJay Dallas, who logged 50 yards on nine touches this week, also will be in the mix for increased playing time.
