  • Chase Edmonds RB | WAS

Cardinals' Chase Edmonds: Puts in limited showing Wednesday

Edmonds (shoulder) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Edmonds continues to have his practice reps capped for a third week in a row. During his last two appearances, he tallied 10 carries for 61 yards and gathered in six of eight targets for 23 yards, and in Week 6 he managed just a 36 percent share of the Cardinals' offensive snaps. In the same time span, James Conner got the larger share of the work, turning 28 touches into 108 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown. As long as Edmonds is injured, he may be forced to play second fiddle to Conner.

  • Damien Harris RB | BUF

Patriots' Damien Harris: Not on Week 7 injury report

Harris wasn't listed on the Patriots' injury report Wednesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

The Patriots listed 16 players on the report, so unless Harris is added to that group as the week progresses, the running back has seemingly moved past a rib issue that rendered him questionable approaching the team's Week 6 game against the Cowboys. Harris ended up suiting up in the Patriots' 35-29 overtime loss to Dallas, logging 18 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown while adding one catch for seven yards. He'll look to build off that productive effort this weekend against the 1-4 Jets, who have allowed an average of 123.4 rushing yards per game to date.

  • Patriots' Brandon Bolden: Logs limited practice

Bolden was listed as a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to a thigh injury.

Bolden was on the field for just 11 of New England's 54 offensive snaps in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys, carrying once for minus-1 yard and catching his only target for three yards. While it's possible that his thigh issue contributed to his decreased usage in Week 6, rookie Rhamondre Stevenson -- who recorded five carries and three targets versus Dallas -- could simply be transitioning to a larger role in New England's offense behind top back Damien Harris.

  • Chris Evans RB | CIN

Bengals' Chris Evans: Tending to hamstring injury

Evans was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.

According to Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer, Evans was spotted taking part in agility drills off to the side during the open portion of Wednesday's practice, but he apparently joined his healthy teammates on the field for at least part of the session to garner a "limited" tag. The rookie sixth-round pick is a bit banged up after he was pressed into his largest role of the season in the Week 6 win in Detroit while No. 2 back Samaje Perine (illness) was sidelined. Evans, who carried four times for 18 yards and added three receptions for 49 yards and a score, could have his snaps scaled back Week 7 in Baltimore if Perine is activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list in advance of that contest.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Lions' D'Andre Swift: Limited by groin again

Swift (groin) was listed as a limited participant at Wednesday's practice.

The groin injury that first cropped up in training camp has continued to affect Swift's practice reps, but the issue hasn't prevented him from playing in games and seemingly hasn't impacted his usage either. He's played more than 70 percent of the Lions' offensive snaps in each of the last three weeks, averaging 15.7 touches per game over that stretch.

  • Jordan Wilkins RB | CLE

Colts' Jordan Wilkins: Missing from practice

Wilkins (illness) wasn't spotted on the field for Wednesday's practice, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.

Wilkins hasn't practiced since Oct. 7 due to the illness, missing two games along the way. Unless he gets back on the field in some capacity Thursday and/or Friday, he'll likely find himself on the Colts' inactive list again Sunday in San Francisco.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Barkley (ankle) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Until he gets back in the practice field, Barkley isn't a candidate to be available to the Giants offense. Still, head coach Joe judge hasn't ruled out the possibility of Barkley playing Sunday against the Panthers, so his status bears watching as the weekend approaches. If Barley ends up being inactive again this weekend, the Giants will turn to Devontae Booker as their top back.

  • Football Team's Antonio Gibson: No practice Wednesday

Gibson (shin) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports.

Gibson has been dealing with what's been termed as a stress fracture in his shin since Week 4, but he's subsequently played three straight games on his way to 50 touches for 191 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns. His practice limitations are likely precautionary, and he'll still have two practices to prove his health ahead of Sunday's visit to Green Bay.

  • Ravens' Latavius Murray: Not practicing Wednesday

Murray (ankle) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Murray was forced out of last Sunday's win over the Chargers with the ankle injury. If he's not ready to go for the Ravens' Week 7 matchup with the Bengals, more work would be available for Devonta Freeman and Le'Veon Bell, while Ty'Son Williams could rejoin the Ravens' backfield mix after having been a healthy inactive Week 6.

  • Bears' Damien Williams: Remains on COVID list

Bears head coach Matt Nagy said Wednesday that Williams (illness) remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com reports.

Williams tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of Chicago's loss to the Packers in Week 6 and was forced to miss the contest as a result. He will need to fully clear the league's health and safety protocols before returning to team facilities, so Williams isn't a lock to be back in action for Sunday's road game against the Buccaneers. If Williams were to miss another game, Khalil Herbert would inherit the lead role out of the backfield once more.
