  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: No return to practice

Kamara (knee) isn't present for the open portion of Friday's practice, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.

With Kamara seemingly missing a third consecutive practice as he recovers from a mild knee sprain, Mark Ingram will prepare to take over the lead role Sunday in Tennessee. The Saints still could make Kamara a game-time decision and give him another two days to show improvement, but it isn't yet clear if that's what they're thinking. Dwayne Washington is the third tailback on the active roster, while Lamar Miller and Josh Adams are signed to the practice squad but could be promoted Friday or Saturday.

  • Nick Chubb RB | HOU

Browns' Nick Chubb: Not playing Sunday

Chubb (illness) won't play in Sunday's contest at New England, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.

Per coach Kevin Stefanski, the Browns backfield will be without Chubb, Demetric Felton (illness) and John Kelly (illness) this weekend, as the trio is on the reserve/COVID-19 list after testing positive for the virus Tuesday. With Kareem Hunt (calf) not ready to return from injured reserve, D'Ernest Johnson will be the team's primary running back Sunday, which previously equated to 24 touches for 168 yards from scrimmage and one TD back in Week 7.

  • Zack Moss RB | CIN

Bills' Zack Moss: Status in question for Week 10

Moss (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's road game against the Jets.

Moss made tangible progress through the concussion protocol this week, working in a limited fashion on the practice field both Thursday and Friday. Considering he didn't make it back to full, he likely still has to meet with an independent neurologist to be cleared to play. If Moss doesn't pass the requisite tests in time to suit up Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET and misses his second game of the season, Devin Singletary will serve as the Bills' unquestioned lead back, with Taiwan Jones and Matt Breida candidates to get reps as well.

  • Browns' Demetric Felton: Still not practicing

Felton (illness) remained away from practice Friday and is still on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Mark Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer reports.

The deadline to activate Felton in time for him to suit up Sunday against the Patriots will be Saturday at 4:00 p.m. EST, and he will need to have submitted a pair of negative COVID-19 tests in a 24-hour span by then in order to be activated. The same is true of running back Nick Chubb, who also remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

  • Nick Chubb RB | HOU

Browns' Nick Chubb: Still sidelined Friday

Chubb, who remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list, wasn't present for Friday's practice, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The same applies to Demetric Felton, with Cabot noting that the deadline for the Browns to activate either back is Saturday afternoon. If Chubb isn't cleared in advance of Sunday's game against the Patriots, D'Ernest Johnson would be in line to start at running back for the team in Week 10.

  • Football Team's Antonio Gibson: Good to go

Gibson (shin) has no injury designation for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Gibson will continue to play through a shin fracture and work as Washington's lead runner, but he did run into trouble before the Week 9 bye, finishing three straight games with no touchdowns and less than 60 total yards while playing no more than 42 percent of offensive snaps. That, after playing at least 55 percent of snaps in Washington's first five games, with 432 total yards and four TDs. Part of it seems to be the shin injury, and part of it is J.D. McKissic getting more playing time with Washington playing from behind. Whatever the case, a bye week won't necessarily have fixed the problem, especially given the difficult Week 10 matchup against Tampa's stout front seven. That said, Gibson will suit up Sunday for a ninth time in nine games this season, and he's thus far recorded at least 11 touches in every contest

  • Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Not spotted at practice

Stevenson (concussion) wasn't seen during the media-access portion of Friday's practice, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

The same applies to Damien Harris, with Friday's final injury report set to reveal whether one or both players has a chance to be cleared for Sunday's game versus the Browns. Brandon Bolden and J.J. Taylor are next up for touches out of New England's backfield if Stevenson and Harris are out this weekend.

  • Damien Harris RB | BUF

Patriots' Damien Harris: Not spotted at practice Friday

Harris (concussion) wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of Friday's practice, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

The same applies to fellow running back Rhamondre Stevenson, which clouds the duo's status for Sunday's game against the Browns. If one or both players aren't cleared for Week 10 action, Brandon Bolden and J.J. Taylor would be next up for touches in the Patriots' backfield.

  • Jaguars' James Robinson: Likely questionable Sunday

Coach Urban Meyer said Robinson (heel) is expected to receive the questionable tag for Sunday's game at Indianapolis, Mark Long of the Associated Press reports.

The 23-year-old returned to practice as a limited participant Thursday, and he'll likely need to show significant improvement at Friday's session if he's going to avoid the questionable tag. Robinson appears on track to play Sunday, though his availability is officially up in the air for now.

  • Myles Gaskin RB | SEA

Dolphins' Myles Gaskin: Stymied on ground again

Gaskin rushed 14 times for 31 yards and secured one of two targets for 14 yards in the Dolphins' 22-10 win over the Ravens on Thursday night.

Gaskin found running room next to impossible to come by for the second time in five days, as his 2.2 yards per rush Thursday was only a slight improvement on the 1.8 yards per tote he'd mustered against the Texans in a Week 9 win Sunday. Gaskin's issues are primarily the result of spotty run blocking, but irrespective of the source of the problem, the fact is his fantasy value is significantly capped at the moment. Gaskin's next opportunity to break out of what is now three straight sub-40-yard efforts on the ground comes against the Jets in a Week 11 road divisional battle a week from Sunday.
