  • Football Team's Jaret Patterson: Quiet in limited role

Patterson carried the ball seven times for 23 yards in Sunday's 27-21 win over the Panthers.

Patterson was on the field for 13 of Washington's 67 offensive snaps, operating as the No. 3 running back behind both Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic. While Gibson and McKissic are healthy, the rookie will likely continue to see minimal work moving forward.

  • Ravens' Ty'Son Williams: Not involved on offense

Williams failed to record a single carry in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Bears.

Williams played five snaps on special teams, accounting for his only game action. Though he showed potential at running back in the preseason, it is clear that the Ravens do not trust the 25-year-old enough to be a big part of the offensive game plan. Instead, the team will continue to rely on veterans Latavius Murray and Devonta Freeman to carry the load barring any additions from outside the organization. Williams should remain off the fantasy radar going into a matchup with the Browns in Week 12.

  • Buccaneers' Ke'Shawn Vaughn: Sees rare action in win

Vaughn rushed three times for four yards and ran back one kickoff for 15 yards in the Buccaneers' 30-10 win over the Giants on Monday night.

Vaughn garnered active status for only the sixth time this season and saw his first carries since Week 7. The second-year back also got his first chance to contribute on returns and logged a total of 22 plays (nine on offense, 13 on special teams), his second-highest workload of the season. Despite his participation Monday night, Vaughn could well toggle between inactive and active status the rest of the season as long as the Buccaneers' primary backfield options are healthy.

  • Bears' Damien Williams: Still out for Tuesday's practice

Williams (calf/knee) was out again for Tuesday's walkthrough.

Williams was estimated as a nonparticipant at Tuesday's walkthrough, his second straight DNP to open the week. With the Bears playing the Lions on Thursday, it seems unlikely he will be able to play. David Montgomery will handle the lead back role while Khalil Herbert will likely operate as the primary backup in Week 12.

  • Titans' Khari Blasingame: Designated to return from IR

Blasingame (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

The 25-year-old has been inactive since Week 7, and the team now has 21 days to either activate him or place him back on IR, which would end his season. Blasingame has been used exclusively as a blocker this season, failing to record a carry over six contests in 2021.

  • Garrett Groshek: Released by Vikings

Groshek was released from the Vikings' practice squad Tuesday.

The 24-year-old signed with the team's practice squad Nov. 16 but was let go Tuesday. On the season, he has yet to appear in any contests. Groshek will now look for a new squad in need of backfield depth.

  • John Kelly RB | CLE

John Kelly: Joins Cleveland's practice squad

Kelly signed with the Browns' practice squad Tuesday, Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Kelly rejoins the Browns after being waived Saturday. In a corresponding move, Cleveland released fellow running back Dexter Williams from its practice squad.

  • Lions' Jermar Jefferson: Limited in practice

Jefferson (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Tuesday.

Jefferson also logged a limited practice Monday, after missing Sunday against the Browns. If Jefferson is unable to play Thursday against the Bears, Godwin Igwebuike will likely fill in as the third running back on the Lions' depth chart.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Continues to miss practice

The Saints listed Kamara (knee) as a non-participant in Tuesday's practice.

Since Tuesday is likely to be the Saints' most rigorous practice session of the week with the team facing a quick turnaround for its Thanksgiving Day game against the Bills, Kamara's inability to take any reps suggests he'll be in line for a third straight absence Thursday. Before giving Kamara a designation this week, the Saints will see what both he and Mark Ingram (knee) are able to do during Wednesday's workout. Ingram wasn't able to take any reps during Tuesday's practice either, leaving Tony Jones and special-teams contributor Dwayne Washington as the healthy backs on the New Orleans roster.

  • Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Bumps up practice activity

Elliott (knee) was listed as a full participant Tuesday on Dallas' practice report, Rob Phillips of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Though Dallas merely held a light workout Tuesday that head coach Mike McCarthy described as a "run-through," Elliott apparently would have taken full reps if the Cowboys held a more traditional practice session. Elliott's activity seemingly clears up any concern about his status for the Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day game against the Raiders, and the running back himself relayed Tuesday that his right knee has shown improvement since he aggravated a lingering bone bruise in Sunday's loss to Kansas City, per Jon Machota of The Athletic. Though Elliott doesn't plan to rest for any games while he manages the injury, the Cowboys could look to scale back his workloads to some degree, especially while No. 2 back Tony Pollard continues to excel when given the opportunity.
