AJ Dillon RB | CAR
Packers' AJ Dillon: Gets Jones back in fold
Dillon will be joined by Aaron Jones (knee) in the Packers backfield in the latter's return to the lineup Sunday versus the Rams, Mike Spofford of the team's official site reports.
Jones sat out last Sunday's loss at Minnesota due to an MCL sprain suffered one week prior, but his absence will be contained to one contest after he got through a pregame workout unscathed. The breakdown of reps between Jones and Dillon is up in the air. In the nine outings in which Jones has been healthy this season, Dillon ranged between four and 16 touches and 25 and 44 percent of the offensive snaps en route to 8.4 touches for 54.3 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring one receiving TD.

Elijah Mitchell RB | PHI
49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Returning to action Week 12
Mitchell (finger) is active for Sunday's game versus the Vikings.
Mitchell came out of Week 10 with a broken finger that required surgery. Initially, there was optimism from coach Kyle Shanahan that Mitchell would be able to play Week 11, but the 49ers ended up keeping him out of practice and eventually on the sideline last Sunday at Jacksonville. In his return to the practice field Wednesday, Mitchell was tabbed with both the finger and a rib issue, which resulted in limited listings on all three Week 12 injury reports and a questionable designation for Sunday. Both Adam Schefter of ESPN and Jay Glazer on the Fox Sunday morning pregame show noted that Mitchell was poised to play and even start at running back in his return, and he'll do just that. In six previous starts this season, Mitchell averaged 17.7 touches for 88.2 yards from scrimmage per game and scored two rushing TDs.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Back in action Sunday
Jones (knee) is listed as active Sunday against the Rams, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
When Jones sustained an MCL sprain in his right knee Week 10 against the Seahawks, he was expected to be sidelined 1-to-2 weeks. Indeed, the Packers ruled him out for Week 11 action at Minnesota, but he put himself in a position to return by logging limited listings Wednesday through Friday and entering the weekend as questionable. Both Adam Schefter of ESPN and Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com relayed prior to the contest that Green Bay was treating Jones as a game-time decision, and after a pregame workout it's been determined the fifth-year pro is healthy enough to play. Whether or not Jones retakes the reins of the backfield remains to be seen, but AJ Dillon could end up getting the larger share of RB reps between the two considering their respective levels of health.

Larry Rountree III RB | HOU
Chargers' Larry Rountree: Inactive versus Denver
Rountree is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Rountree, who logged just two carries for five yards in Week 11, is the odd man out Sunday, with Justin Jackson, Joshua Kelley and Darius Bradwell candidates to provide support behind top back Austin Ekeler.
-
Mike Boone RB | MIA
Broncos' Mike Boone: Suits up Sunday
Boone (hip) is active for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Boone trended up all week in practice and is accordingly good to go Sunday. He'll see action in just his fourth game of the year.

Elijah Mitchell RB | PHI
49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Likely starter
Mitchell (rib/finger) is going to play and probably start Sunday afternoon against the Vikings, Jay Glazer reported on the Fox Sunday morning pregame show.
This fits with the earlier reports from other sources this week that he'd play, with the added confirmation that he'll start.

La'Mical Perine RB | PIT
Jets' La'Mical Perine: Won't play Sunday
Perine (coach's decision) will not play Sunday against the Texans, Randy Lange of the Jets' official site reports.
Perine will watch from the sidelines again and hasn't been active since Week 9. The second-year pro has work to do to leap the trio of Austin Walter, Ty Johnson and Tevin Coleman on the Jets' depth chart.

Ke'Shawn Vaughn RB | SF
Buccaneers' Ke'Shawn Vaughn: Healthy scratch in Week 12
Vaughn (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game at Indianapolis, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Vaughn has avoided injuries to this point in the season, but he's been a healthy scratch for the Bucs five times through 11 games. And in the six outings in which he's been available, he's been limited to 17 offensive snaps, 91 plays on special teams, eight carries for 31 yards and one kick return for 15 yards. With Vaughn on the sideline, Leonard Fournette will continue to operate as the team's lead runner, while Ronald Jones and Giovani Bernard will mix in in their respective roles.
