Drake rushed three times for six yards and secured all three targets for 10 yards in the Raiders' 15-13 preseason win over the Dolphins on Saturday night.

The veteran was the second running back in, but he didn't find much success against one of his old squads. Drake has seemingly been battling rookie Zamir White for the No. 2 running back job behind workhorse lead back Josh Jacobs, and while neither has gotten much done on the ground in the last two games, the younger and more explosive White showed more burst during an 11-carry, 52-yard performance in the Hall of Fame Game preseason opener versus the Jaguars. Consequently, Drake may need a true breakout effort during Friday night's exhibition finale versus the Patriots to win the competition.

White rushed five times for eight yards and a touchdown and secured his only target for four yards in the Raiders' 15-13 preseason win over the Dolphins on Saturday night.

White drew the start with Josh Jacobs (coach's decision) sitting out, and he was able to close out the Raiders' first drive with a two-yard touchdown run. The rookie opened the preseason with a bang by gaining 75 total yards on 14 touches against the Jaguars in the Hall of Fame Game, but he's subsequently rushed for 21 yards on 10 carries in the next two exhibitions. Nevertheless, the fact White was the first back in ahead of veteran Kenyan Drake, who gained a modest 16 yards from scrimmage on his six touches, means the former could be on track to secure the No. 2 running back job behind Jacobs.

Edmonds rushed three times for three yards and brought in both targets for 21 yards in the Dolphins' 15-13 preseason loss to the Raiders on Saturday night.

Edmonds started the game while Raheem Mostert (coach's decision) sat out, but the former was in for just the first series and part of the second before exiting. The speedy 26-year-old is expected to work in a fairly close tandem with Mostert to open the regular season and should have a solid role as a receiver given his pass-catching ability.

Vaughn rushed 10 times for 54 yards in the Buccaneers' 13-3 preseason loss to the Titans on Saturday night.

Vaughn had scored a touchdown in the Buccaneers' preseason-opening loss to the Dolphins but gained just 19 yards on 10 rushes, so Saturday night's performance was much more efficient. The third-year back is facing stiff competition from rookie Rachaad White, and their battle for the No. 2 running back job appears headed for a culmination in next Saturday night's road exhibition finale versus the Colts.

Haskins rushed 12 times for 39 yards and secured both targets for eight yards in the Titans' 13-3 preseason win over the Buccaneers on Saturday night.

After logging 48 yards on nine touches in the Titans' preseason opener against the Ravens, Haskins saw a nice bump in workload as the second running back into the game for Tennessee. The rookie fourth-round pick appears to be the favorite for the No. 3 running back job, but undrafted free agent Julius Chestnut (10 rushes for 35 yards and two receptions for 10 yards) kept the heat on Saturday night in a competition that appears destined to stretch into next Saturday night's home exhibition finale against the Cardinals.

Hasty tallied three carries for 15 yards in Saturday's 17-7 preseason win over the Vikings. He added one reception for two yards and a touchdown.

Hasty was the second back on the field for the team's first offensive possession, though Trey Sermon and Tyrion Davis-Price also appeared. From there, Hasty saw limited action, though he found the end zone early in the fourth quarter on his lone reception of the game. He isn't likely to see significant action once the regular season begins, with, at minimum, Elijah Mitchell (hamstring) and Jeff Wilson apparently ahead of him on the depth chart.

White rushed six times for 19 yards, secured his only target for 16 yards and returned one kickoff for 33 yards in the Buccaneers' 13-3 preseason loss to the Titans on Saturday night. He also lost a fumble.

The rookie was the second back into the game behind Leonard Fournette, and he ended up logging another solid workload after a similarly busy preseason opener. However, his fumble on the Buccaneers' 31-yard line with 5:24 remaining in the first half at the end of his one reception did lead to a Titans field goal. White's competition for the No. 2 running back job, Ke'Shawn Vaughn, recorded a team-high 54 rushing yards on 10 carries, so the job battle appears headed for a final chapter in next Saturday night's preseason finale against the Colts.

Davis-Price rushed 10 times for 41 yards in Saturday's preseason win over the Vikings. He added one reception for six yards.

Davis-Price was the third back on the field after Trey Sermon and JaMycal Hasty, though he still appeared on the team's first drive. He tallied only one additional carry in the first half, though he ripped off a series of impressive gains that went for 14, 12 and six yards later in the contest. Davis-Price's role in the offense remains unclear for the moment, though he does shift up the depth chart so long as Elijah Mitchell (hamstring) remains sidelined.

Sermon carried the ball five times and gained eight yards in Saturday's 17-7 preseason win over the Vikings. He also caught one of his two targets for four yards.

The positive news is that Sermon was able to suit up after hobbling off the practice field Thursday. He was also the first back on the field with both Elijah Mitchell (hamstring) and Jeff Wilson (rest) sidelined. However, Sermon showed little burst, as his longest rush went for only three yards. His potential role remains unclear, though he could be involved in the offense if Mitchell isn't ready for a Week 1 matchup against the Bears.

Gibson rushed twice for three yards and caught three of four targets for 37 yards in Saturday's 24-14 loss to Kansas City. He also returned the opening kickoff 17 yards.

Gibson worked in a change-of-pace role with the first-team offense, but it notably was rookie Brian Robinson who got the start and most of the playing time over that span. Gibson stayed in the game after backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke came in, playing an instrumental role as a pass catcher as Heinicke led Washington's only touchdown drive of the first half. Robinson looks like the favorite for most of the rushing work on early downs, while the impending return of J.D. McKissic (groin) will cut into Gibson's usage in passing situations, so the Commanders are trying to get the ball into Gibson's hands more by using him in the return game. Fellow converted wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson has shown that it's possible to deliver substantial fantasy production in a miscellaneous playmaking role, but Gibson's path to touches is much more complicated now than it was last season.
