DeeJay Dallas RB | JAC
Seahawks' DeeJay Dallas: Practices fully Wednesday
Dallas (quadriceps) was a full practice participant Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Dallas came out of the Seahawks' Week 17 win against the Lions with a bruised thigh, but it was revised to a quad issue upon the release of Wednesday's injury report. With an uncapped session under his belt, Dallas seems to be past the health concern. In any case, Dallas' touches have been sporadic while working behind Rashaad Penny over the last five games, as he's recorded 15 carries and seven catches on his way to 107 yards from scrimmage and one rushing score.

Patrick Laird RB | TB
Dolphins' Patrick Laird: Back at practice
Miami designated Laird (knee) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
The running back has been on IR since Week 13 while dealing with an MCL injury. He'll participate in practice for the next three days while the Dolphins assess whether he's fit to return from IR ahead of Sunday's season finale versus the Patriots.

Chase Edmonds RB | WAS
Cardinals' Chase Edmonds: No practice due to two injuries
Edmonds was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice due to rib and toe injuries, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Edmonds has earned two straight starts in place of an injured James Conner (heel), combining for 47 touches for 209 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown. The elevated workload has left Edmonds compromised on the health front, however, while Conner managed a limited session to begin Week 18 prep. Edmonds will have two more chances to put himself on a path to active status Sunday versus the Seahawks, but the script again may flip for the two running backs when it comes to which of the two serves as the top option out of the backfield.

James Conner RB | ARI
Cardinals' James Conner: Puts in another limited practice
Conner (heel) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Conner has missed two straight games due to a heel injury, but he now has logged two consecutive limited sessions dating back to last week. Chase Edmonds, who filled in for Conner as the Cardinals' lead running back during that span, didn't practice at all Wednesday with rib and toe issues. Conner seems to be in a better place health-wise than Edmonds at the moment, but how the rest of Week 18 transpires will determine who among the two is available Sunday against the Seahawks. When active this season, Conner has averaged 15.6 touches per game versus Edmonds' 13.3.

Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Limited at walk-through session
Jacobs was listed as a limited participant at Wednesday's walk-through practice due to a rib injury, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
Jacobs has two more opportunities to increased his participation ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers. However, at this stage, there's nothing to suggest that the running back's Week 18 status is in peril. If Jacobs is able to put in a full practice by Friday, he'll have a good chance to head into the weekend minus an injury designation.

Cam Akers RB | SEA
Rams' Cam Akers: Logs another full practice
Akers (Achilles) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Leading up to this past Sunday's game at Baltimore, Akers was uninhibited in practice before the Rams included him on the inactive list for the second week in a row. However, head coach Sean McVay has laid the groundwork for Akers to return to action Week 18 following a quicker-than-anticipated recovery from a mid-July Achilles tear. After acknowledging Monday that he thought Akers was ready to go for the regular-season finale, McVay went a step further Wednesday, telling Stu Jackson of the team's official site that the running back participated in the jog-through session and "was full speed, flying around...he'll be ready to go (Sunday against the 49ers)." What kind of workload Akers handles this weekend isn't clear, but assuming he's active, he'll be spelling Sony Michel, who has averaged 23.4 touches per game over the last five contests.

Javonte Williams RB | DAL
Broncos' Javonte Williams: Logs limited practice
Williams (knee) was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Melvin Gordon (thumb/hip) was also limited, but at this stage, there's nothing to suggest that either back will miss Saturday's game against Kansas City, even if both players approach the weekend with an injury designation.

Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Broncos' Melvin Gordon: Limited session Wednesday
Gordon (thumb/hip) was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Fellow running back Javonte Williams (knee) also remained limited in practice, though neither looks at major risk of sitting out Saturday's game against Kansas City. That said, either or both of the two backs are candidates to carry injury designations into the weekend.
-
Elijah Mitchell RB | PHI
49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Sits out Wednesday's practice
Mitchell (knee) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Mitchell put an end to a three-game absence this past Sunday against the Texans, resuming his role as the 49ers' top running back with 23 touches for 130 yards from scrimmage and the first receiving touchdown of his career. The rookie sixth-round pick has been a revelation when healthy this season, with five 100-yard performances on the ground in 10 appearances. But it appears Mitchell's knee injury continues to bother him, so his status will be one to monitor throughout the week to ensure he isn't in danger of sitting out a seventh contest of the season Sunday at the Rams.

Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Limited practice Wednesday
Harris (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Harris has been managing the hamstring issue in recent weeks, but given that he was forced out of this past Sunday's win over the Jaguars, it's actually encouraging that he practiced in a limited fashion. The running back downplayed the injury during the Patriots' Week 17 post-game press conference, and his presence at practice Wednesday supports the notion that he'll be available for this weekend's game against the Dolphins, even if he heads into the contest with an injury designation.
