Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Eagles' Miles Sanders: Another solid effort in Week 2
Sanders rushed 17 times for 80 yards and brought in all three targets for six yards in the Eagles' 24-7 win over the Vikings on Monday night. He also recovered a fumble.
Sanders' rushing volume would ideally be a tick higher, but positive game script helped lead to some late work and corresponding production for the fourth-year back. Sanders has logged 30 carries overall in his first two games and parlayed them into an impressive 176 yards and a touchdown, an elite level of efficiency he'll aim to build on at the expense of the Commanders in a Week 3 divisional road matchup.

Dalvin Cook RB | DAL
Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Neutralized by game script Monday
Cook carried just six times for 17 yards and brought in four of six targets for 19 yards in the Vikings' 24-7 loss to the Eagles on Monday night.
Head coach Kevin O'Connell, a former quarterback, had seemed to dispel any fears he'd run an overly pass-centric offense in Week 1 when Cook logged 20 carries against the Packers, but matters were quite different Monday night. The star back was an afterthought despite the Vikings trailing by a manageable 17 points entering the second half, although he at least was modestly involved on the receiving end. Cook's usage versus Philadelphia should naturally prove to be an outlier as the season unfolds, however. Additionally, fantasy managers should be optimistic about a Week 3 divisional home clash against a Lions team Cook's missed the last three games against, but one that he eviscerated for 206 yards and two touchdowns the last time he saw them in Week 9 of the 2020 campaign.

Darrel Williams RB | NO
Cardinals' Darrel Williams: First touches with new team
Williams had eight carries for 59 yards and one touchdown while hauling in two of three targets for three yards during Sunday's 29-23 overtime win at Las Vegas.
One week removed from being contained to 15 special-teams snaps in his first action as a Cardinal, Williams was the third of the team's running backs to earn touches during this Week 2 contest behind James Conner and Eno Benjamin. Additional opportunity opened up in the second half when Conner left with an ankle injury, allowing Williams to lead the backfield in offensive snaps (40 of 87) and yards from scrimmage (62). Conner's issue isn't believed to be a long-term one, but Williams may be in line for more work in the short term if the former is limited or forced to miss any game action.

Zack Moss RB | CIN
Bills' Zack Moss: Just three touches on MNF
Moss rushed three times for 17 yards and didn't catch his only target in Monday's 41-7 win over the Titans.
Devin Singletary got most of the touches in Buffalo's backfield while this game was competitive, while rookie second-round pick James Cook was the primary option after Josh Allen took a seat for the fourth quarter. With the dominant Bills limiting Moss's role even in blowouts, he doesn't have much of a path to touches outside of a Singletary injury.

James Cook RB | BUF
Bills' James Cook: Gets 11 carries in mop-up duty
Cook rushed 11 times for 53 yards and failed to catch his only target in Monday's 41-7 win over the Titans.
Cook got an extensive audition after the game got out of hand, and the rookie second-round pick looked explosive, with most of his yardage coming on a 33-yard burst to open Buffalo's final drive. For now, Cook's usage in competitive games will be limited to splitting change-of-pace duties behind Devin Singletary with Zack Moss, though this likely won't be the last blowout the Bills orchestrate in 2022.

Devin Singletary RB | NYG
Bills' Devin Singletary: Limited impact in blowout win
Singletary rushed six times for 19 yards while catching two of four targets for two yards in Monday's 41-7 win over the Titans.
Singletary was Buffalo's primary running back while the game was still competitive, but Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs dominated through the air during that time, leaving little left over for Singletary. Once the game got out of hand, Buffalo took the opportunity to get rookie second-round pick James Cook some reps. Singletary should be more involved in what should be a closer game against the Dolphins on the road in Week 3.

Tony Jones RB | ARI
Saints' Tony Jones: Leads rushers in total snaps
Jones recorded eight yards over two carries and caught two targets for 12 yards during Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
Though Jones finished as the Saints' third-leading rusher behind Mark Ingram (10 carries, 60 yards) and Dwayne Washington (four carries, eight yards) on Sunday with Alvin Kamara (ribs) sidelined, he actually paced the team's running back corps in total offensive snaps played with 32. The 5-foot-11, 224-pound back made perhaps his largest impact as a pass blocker while lining up in the backfield on 48 percent of New Orleans' offensive snaps against Tampa Bay. Jones recorded 142 yards on 54 rushes over 11 games with the Saints last season, and his overall impact in both the rushing and passing games could make him a more valuable back than Washington should Kamara remain out in Week 3 against the Panthers.
-
Dwayne Washington RB | DEN
Saints' Dwayne Washington: Productive in limited role
Washington recorded four carries for 18 yards during the Saints' 20-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
The 28-year-old finished as New Orleans' second-leading rusher behind Mark Ingram (10 carries, 60 yards) with Alvin Kamara (ribs) sidelined against Tampa Bay. However, Washington only played a total of four offensive snaps, well behind Ingram (25 offensive snaps) and Tony Jones (32 offensive snaps), as most of his usage came on special teams. Washington will likely revert back to this role as a core special teamer once Kamara returns.

Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Titans' Derrick Henry: Quiet night besides early TD
Henry rushed 13 times for 25 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 41-7 loss to the Bills.
Henry rumbled in for a two-yard touchdown on fourth down to cap Tennessee's first drive but was bottled up for the rest of the night as the Titans were outplayed in every facet of the game. Through two games, Henry has averaged just 3.1 yards per carry, as opponents are stacking the box and Tennessee's passing game is failing to make them pay. Henry should find more running room in Week 3 against the Raiders, but the Titans' inability to replace A.J. Brown's production through the air has clearly bled into Henry's production on the ground.

Avery Williams RB | NYJ
Falcons' Avery Williams: Catches one pass in Week 2
Williams had zero carries but hauled in his only target for six yards during Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Rams.
Williams finished second among running backs with 23 offensive snaps during the season opener, but he saw a reduced workload with rookie fifth-round pick Tyler Allgeier active for his first career NFL game. Williams played 15 offensive snaps and recorded just one touch. With Damien Williams (ribs) on IR, it appears like Allgeier will be the primary backup to Cordarrelle Patterson, while Avery continues to operate in a limited role.
