Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Records first touchdown
Elliott rushed the ball 15 times for 73 yards and a touchdown and caught his only target for two yards in Monday's 23-16 win over the Giants.
Elliott had an impressive primetime showing, recording both his first run of more than 20 yards and also his first touchdown of the season. The former came on a pitch play to the left side of the line and the latter on a one-yard plunge late in the third quarter. Despite the positive performance, Elliott only narrowly held the touch advantage over Tony Pollard, tallying 16 total opportunities to Pollard's 13. Through three games, Elliott has 178 rushing yards on 40 carries.

Rachaad White RB | WAS
Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Only touch comes via special teams
White did not log a carry or target in the Buccaneers' 14-12 loss to the Packers on Sunday but did return one kickoff for 20 yards.
White seemingly had the potential to log a few extra touches while spelling Leonard Fournette, who is still dealing with a hamstring injury, but the latter played 91 percent of the offensive snaps Sunday. In contrast, White was in on just six snaps from scrimmage and another 10 on special teams. Head coach Todd Bowles seems content to give Fournette a true lead-back workload thus far, keeping White as a non-factor for fantasy purposes.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Shows off big-play ability
Barkley carried the ball 14 times for 81 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 23-16 loss to the Cowboys. He added four receptions for 45 yards.
Barkley picked up nearly half of his rushing yards on an explosive 36-yard score midway through the third quarter. While his efficiency on the ground was otherwise unimpressive, he also finished second on the team in receiving yards. Through three games, Barkley looks to be back to his 2019 form, as he has racked up 408 total yards and two touchdowns.

Dwayne Washington RB | DEN
Saints' Dwayne Washington: Primarily kick returning in loss
Washington recorded 56 yards on three kickoff returns while exclusively playing on special teams (21 snaps) during Sunday's 22-14 loss to the Panthers.
Washington reverted back to a core special-teams role with starting running back Alvin Kamara back Week 3. The 28-year-old also took over kickoff returns for the Saints after wide receiver Deonte Harty was ruled a healthy scratch ahead of Sunday's game. After recovering a muff on his first return, Washington averaged 18.7 yards per return while never making it past New Orleans' 25-yard line. The seventh-year running back has played at least 200 special-teams snaps in each of the last three seasons, though he should relinquish his current return duties once Harty is back in the lineup.

Hassan Haskins RB | LAC
Titans' Hassan Haskins: Back to special-teams role
Haskins played four offensive snaps and 13 special-teams snaps but did not record a stat in Sunday's 24-22 win over the Raiders.
Haskins fell back down the depth chart due to the return of Dontrell Hilliard. Unless either Derrick Henry or Hilliard misses time, Haskins will be in for a limited role in the Titans' offense.

Justice Hill RB | BAL
Ravens' Justice Hill: Impressive showing in Week 3
Hill had six carries for 60 yards Sunday against the Patriots.
Despite J.K. Dobbins returning from his knee injury, Hill managed to turn in the best rushing performance of his career. Hill not only set a career-high in yards, he did so while averaging 10 yards per carry. A 34-yard rush did a lot of the heavy lifting for his average, but it was a strong day from Hill nonetheless. Dobbins played just eight snaps in the second half, and Hill stepped up with 22 snaps to help carry the backfield. Though Dobbins eventually will start seeing larger workloads as he rounds into form, this is a run-heavy offense that will get usage out of multiple backs. Veteran signings Mike Davis and Kenyan Drake have had minimal returns thus far, so perhaps it will be Hill who takes the No. 2 role behind Dobbins while Gus Edwards (knee) is sidelined.
-
Chuba Hubbard RB | CAR
Panthers' Chuba Hubbard: Gets three carries
Hubbard rushed three times for 25 yards in Sunday's 22-14 win over the Saints.
Hubbard surrendered kickoff-return duties after fumbling last week, but he at least got involved a bit offensively. Along with his seven snaps surpassing teammate D'Onta Foreman's four, Hubbard was productive with his touches while Foreman didn't get the ball at all. However, as long as Christian McCaffrey is healthy, neither Hubbard nor Foreman hold much fantasy value.
-
Boston Scott RB | PIT
Eagles' Boston Scott: Barely used in Week 3
Scott carried the ball twice for zero yards in Sunday's win against Washington.
Scott wasn't a significant part of the game plan Week 3, seeing the field for just seven offensive snaps. Kenneth Gainwell received 22 snaps and would be the running back to pick up if Miles Sanders gets injured.
-
Kenneth Gainwell RB | TB
Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Three touches in Week 3
Gainwell carried the ball three times for six yards in Sunday's win over the Commanders.
Gainwell was back to being the clear second running back this time around, as his 22 snaps were far fewer than Miles Sanders' 41 but far more than Boston Scott's seven. Despite those snaps, though, he again failed to play a significant role in the Eagles offense. Through three games, he's averaging 18.7 total yards on 4.3 touches per game. With the undefeated Eagles likely seeing little reason to shake up their game plan, it probably will take an injury to Sanders to give Gainwell fantasy relevance.

Travis Homer RB | PIT
Seahawks' Travis Homer: Still sore
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Homer (ribs) is still dealing with soreness following Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Falcons, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Homer exited the Week 3 contest due to the rib injury, playing just two snaps on offense and carrying once for seven yards before departing. The Seahawks seem to be viewing Homer as day-to-day for the time being, but his availability for a Week 4 matchup with the Lions looks to be up in the air. DeeJay Dallas would likely see a larger role on passing downs if Homer isn't available in Detroit.
