Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Bears' Khalil Herbert: Likely back to No. 2 role Sunday
Herbert is welcoming David Montgomery (ankle) back to the lineup for Sunday's game in Minnesota, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Herbert took over for Montgomery when the latter hurt his ankle and knee in the first half of a Week 3 matchup with the Texans, combining for 42 touches for 270 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs the past two contests. With Montgomery available Sunday, though, Herbert likely will take a back seat in the Bears backfield, like he did Weeks 1 and 2, when he has limited to 15 touches for 84 total yards and a score on the ground.

Pierre Strong Jr. RB | GB
Patriots' Pierre Strong: Inactive in Week 5
Strong is inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions.
With Strong inactive, Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson will once again lead the Patriots' rushing attack in Week 5, while the team will have six wide receivers active against Detroit.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Hurts shoulder in London
Barkley exited Sunday's game against the Packers in London with a right shoulder injury and is questionable to return, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com, Ranaan suffered the injury in question after he landed on the field awkwardly in the third quarter when he was tackled by the Packers' De'Vondre Campbell. Vacchiano notes that Barkley briefly visited the blue medical tent on the Giants' sideline before heading to the locker room. The team should provide an update on Barkley later in the contest if he's unable to return. Barkley recorded 68 yards on 12 carries and two receptions for minus-5 yards prior to his departure.

Ty Chandler RB | NO
Vikings' Ty Chandler: Active once again
Chandler will be active Sunday against the Bears, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
The rookie fifth-round selection was a healthy scratch through the first three weeks of the season, but he'll suit up for the second-straight week. Last Sunday, Chandler played 19 special-teams snaps, but he never saw the field on offense.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Making return Sunday
Kamara (rib) is active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
The rib injury conspired to sideline Kamara for two of the Saints' last three games, but after a trio of limited practices this week, New Orleans' top running back has been cleared to return to action. With top wideout Michael Thomas (foot) sidelined, Kamara could absorb some of the vacated targets in the passing game, though he'll have to make due at quarterback with Andy Dalton, who is filling in for Jameis Winston (back/ankle) for the second straight week.

Kenneth Walker III RB | KC
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Set to play Week 5
Walker (shoulder) is active Week 5 against the Saints.
Walker was limited in practice by a shoulder injury on consecutive days this week, but it won't stop him from suiting up Sunday. Last week, Walker barely saw a third of the snaps, playing second fiddle to Rashaad Penny -- a role that translated to just eight carries for 29 yards. It's unclear if the rookie will carve out a greater piece of the pie against a tough Saints run defense, especially given the recent injury.

David Montgomery RB | HOU
Bears' David Montgomery: Suiting up in Week 5
Montgomery (ankle) is listed as active Sunday in Minnesota.
Since making an early departure Week 3 against the Texans, Montgomery has missed one game and was unable to mix into drills until Thursday of Week 5 prep. He ended this week with back-to-back limited practices, seemingly setting himself up to return, and he indeed will be available Sunday. Montgomery's role is uncertain, though, especially after Khalil Herbert impressed in place of the former over the last seven quarters of play. On the season, Montgomery has reeled off 4.5 YPC on his 35 rushes and notched five catches (on six targets) for 38 yards, but he has yet to reach the end zone.

Brian Robinson Jr. RB | ATL
Commanders' Brian Robinson: Facing pitch count in NFL debut
Robinson (knee) is expected to play about 20 snaps in his NFL debut Sunday against the Titans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
At least for Week 5, Antonio Gibson is expected to remain the Commanders' starting running back while Robinson, a rookie third-round pick out of Alabama, is eased back in with a limited snap count after missing the first four games of the season while recovering from the two gunshot wounds he sustained to his lower body in an Aug. 28 robbery attempt in Washington, D.C. The Commanders activated Robinson from the reserve/non-football injury list after he resumed practicing this week without any complications, and if he makes the most of the opportunities he receives Sunday, it may not be long before he supplants Gibson as the team's lead option on the ground. J.D. McKissic should also have a role on passing downs in what looks to be a three-man backfield committee for Washington this weekend.
-
Tony Pollard RB | TEN
Cowboys' Tony Pollard: Likely available for Week 5
Pollard (illness), who is listed as questionable, is expected to play Sunday against the Rams, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Pollard missed Friday's practice due to an illness, but he traveled with the team Saturday and is in line to play Sunday. However, fantasy managers are still encouraged to confirm Pollard's status ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff before locking him into lineups.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Expected to play Sunday
Kamara (rib), who is listed as questionable, is expected to play Sunday against the Seahawks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Kamara has missed two of the last three games, but he's expected to return to action Sunday despite being limited at each practice this week. Fantasy managers should still confirm Kamara's status ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, especially after the star running back was a late scratch ahead of Week 4. With Latavius Murray and Tony Jones no longer with New Orleans, Mark Ingram and Dwayne Washington are in line to serve as the top backups behind Kamara.
